  • A good way in Visual Studio to have user entered time frame?

    Hi, Does anyone know of a good way to have a user enter an amount of time (hours and minutes) using visual studio controls? At the moment i have two numeric up downs, one for time and one for minutes that i then parse to create a timespan. The only other idea i have is a text box that a user can enter a "00:00" time in, and validate the input. Both of these ways seem a bit bad (in UI terms) though. Any ideas? Thanks

    We are using Subversion for SCC. We have a great deal of our build environment in our repository so that we can check a given version out and rebuild it fairly close to what was in use at that time. We have the following in there now: InnoSetup binaries Third Party Components VCL (including Indy) Our Source (of course) Finalbuilder project files The only thing missing is the binaries for Delphi itself - I am wondering if there is a minimum set of files that can be copied to the repository and run.     What i'm trying to do is automate the clicking of a button if a condition is met but there are other buttons that are on the page that have the same name, but do different things. Example: Accept Button-->Some random Text1-->more random Text1 : "onclick=randomwebpage.com/12345.php" Accept button-->some random Text2-->more random Text2 : "onclick=randomwebpage.com/67890.php" All Accept buttons belong to the same button class "buttong". How would I simulate a click using the webBrowser controls?

  • Subclipse does not recognize my project as an SVN project

    From SVN I checked out a "myproject" folder to my hard drive. It happens to be an Eclipse project, so I imported it into Eclipse and I can work on it. I have Subclipse installed and working as expected on other projects in the same Eclipse workspace. But for some reason, "myproject" does not have the usual Subclipse controls like TeamCommit or the decorations. Did I miss any obvious steps?

    I currently have a table which only has a single editable column. I have a jQCuery change() event associated with the column's input controls to prevent any non numeric keys being pressed, other than tab / delete / backspace. I would like to replace the Enter key with a Tab press. Can someone please show me the relevant statement to replace the keyCode based on the Enter character being intercepted?

Despite the latest binary being added to the website project, my code (eg myRadGrid.Datasource = "";) shows a red line on type names as they cannot be found for some reason.     One of the most appealing features of Ext-JS is the Grid control in my opinion. I was searching for something free that does something close and have set my hopes on jQuery. I haven't found a jQuery (or other LGPL compatible) Table / Grid plugin that allows to: Reorder columns by dragging Resize columns by dragging Add or Remove columns on the fly Have a default good looking UI (subjective, but Ext-JS look I think is a concensus) In addition to the rest most grid controls have (Sort, Paging etc) Is there a free (LGPL) jQuery plugin that does the above?

    Say there are multiple requests in a integration test, some of them are sphinx calls(locator for example). Should we just stub out the entire response of these sphinx call, or, since it is a integration test, we want to excise the entire test without stubbing. If that is the case, how do we still keep test independent in the situation when sphinx fails, no internet connection, or third party server non-responsive. Give reasons. Thanks

    Why when a control does contain value but it's set to .Enable=False that all controls become disable (that's ok) but why that the ViewState doesn't retain the data on the next post back? If I get the UserControl without modifing its Enable state, the ViewState work between post back. How can we disable a UserControl that all its control become disable (this part work) but all of them KEEP use the ViewState (this doesn't work)?

    I'm developing a website that publishes scientific articles, not as PDF but as HTML. As a input tool for the editorial team, we use TinyMCE for normal text plus a couple of custom plugins for footnotes and citations. But we are not really happy with TinyMCEs table controls. Everything but the most simple tables take way to long to write. Are there any specialized table editing tools for the browser out there?
