javafx 2, CSS and focus disappearing

I've created a very simple CSS that styles two buttons. To the first has just been added a padding. To the second has been set the -fx-background-color, but the value is taken from caspian.css, that is the value it should have before it had been set. .first-style { -fx-padding: 20 5 1 5; } .second-style { -fx-background-color: -fx-shadow-highlight-color, -fx-outer-border, -fx-inner-border, -fx-body-color; } At this point i experience a strange behavior: the focus decoration stops working, and the second button doesn't get its blue border when focused. What's happening?

UIWebView in UITableView hide cells

I have a UIWebView in UITableView, I have this on storyboard: The UIImageView is my future NavBar and the UIWebView is in the UITableView, I have this configuration: -UIImageView -UITableView -UIWebView -UITableViewCell When the UIWebView load the pages (I Have local pages) I want that it takes dynamically their size and for this I have this code: [detailWebView setFrame:CGRectMake(0.,0.,detailWebView.frame.size.width,[[detailWebView stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString:@"document.body.scrollHeight;"] intValue])]; The problem is when the loaded page is long, my UIWebBrowser hide the cells and didn't push them to get cells at the bottom. I don't understand why I have this, when I resize the UIWebBrowser in the storyboard I don't have this problem but I want to do it programmatically Thanks,

Another jquery issue... I have tried this several times using "class" and "id" elements and I can not get it right. I am hoping the brains on stackoverflow can help! The problem that I am having is when I open the page all elments are closed. When I click on one link all links open. HTML character reference display problems.

Hey folks, I'm currently developing a site in Joomla, and one of the components I'm using makes use of a PHP file to administer the language. (english.php, spanish.php) The problem I'm having is that if I use the plain text version of eg. "á", it will show up in the browser tab title ok, but as a ? in the body of the page. But if I use a character reference (á), the reverse happens! Any ideas? Thanks bren

Hi, I'm looking for a way to display a message to the user if he leaves my site after only viewing one page. I'm no javascript master :) My intention is to add the code on very specific landing pages only, and display the message when people leave the page without downloading my trial software or reading other pages on my site.

margin between content and div overflow scrollbar

I am using the following bits of code to keep my menu items fixed while allowing for the scrolling of content because it seems to be the most stable method across all browsers. body { overflow: hidden; } div.content { height: 100%; overflow: auto; } My problem is simple, and yet I can not seem to figure it out, the content inside the tag butts up against the scrollbar for the div area and it makes reading much more difficult. How can I get a margin between them (apart from floating a transparent image to the right to create space, there HAS to be a better way)?

Hi! I'm generating an HTML file for an app, and in this HTML file there's a link to a stylesheet and one to an image. This works, but the problem I have is that, for longer pages, the page is briefly visible with the wrong styles before the javascript kicks in and transforms the page. Can I safely call functions using C syntax from naked functions, or only by using asm?

Hi all i am a junior level SQL developer. I have a situation where I have a text file with 1100 lines of a search result with each line containing a file path and a stored procedure associated with that file. Each line has a structure like the one below: abc\def\ghi\***.cs(40): jkl=******.*****.******, "proc_pqrst", parms); Where abc\def\ghi\***.cs is file path of the file ***.cs. The stored procedure names begin with proc_. I have to extract the ***.cs and the corresponding stored procedure name begining with proc_ and write them to a .xls file. Can some body help me in writing the parsing program to do this? Also can I get a detailed outline on where should I write the code for c# and where should I compile it? This could be a great help as I don't have any knowledge of C#. Thank you, BK.

pyplot: really slow creating heatmaps

I have a loop that executes the body about 200 times. In each loop iteration, it does a sophisticated calculation, and then as debugging, I wish to produce a heatmap of a NxM matrix. But, generating this heatmap is unbearably slow and significantly slow downs an already slow algorithm. My code is along the lines: import numpy import matplotlib.pyplot as plt for i in range(200): matrix = complex_calculation() plt.set_cmap("gray") plt.imshow(matrix) plt.savefig("frame{0}.png".format(i)) The matrix, from numpy, is not huge --- 300 x 600 of doubles. Even if I do not save the figure and instead update an on-screen plot, it's even slower. Surely I must be abusing pyplot. (Matlab can do this, no problem.) How do I speed this up?

Hi, I must have a little design in javascript. I have a menu with 5 entrys and only 1 HTML-page. So I will have a content-div and enabled and disabled different static content in it, each menu-entry is another content. I tried with 5 divs and disable 4 of them and enable 1, but the element under each other means every div is like a - enabled or not, so the "content" is moving then. Hope its understandable. Ways to call Blocks within Magento: createBlock vs Layout xml file

Context: I'm trying to include Adminhtml blocks in the frontend of the site to replace some of the user account blocks. The first thing I'm trying to do is simply display the block on the correct page. I can replace the entire page by setting the Body of the response inside the controller, but I'm having a hard time including the block in the layout xml file and then calling it within the template. Why would I be able to create an adminhtml/sales_order_grid from Mage_Sales_OrderController using createBlock: $this->getResponse()->setBody($this->getLayout()->createBlock('adminhtml/sales_order_grid')->toHtml()); But not from a frontend layout, using a declaration <block type="adminhtml/sales_order_grid" name="orders_widget"/> within app/design/frontend/default/default/layout/sales.xml The latter produces an error without a stack trace: Fatal error: Call to a member function toHtml() on a non-object in app/code/core/Mage/Core/Model/Layout.php on line 526 Thanks for any guidance!

css, jquery issue

I was playing with Infogrid on my site. I added a header, a footer and added some text on the last block of iron man. As you can see the footer doesn't show up and the text of the last block is cut off. Now if you remove overflow:hidden; on the body, html the footer shows up but the text is still cut off. Any idea on how this the footer could show up without the scrollbar (so overflow:hidden; has to stay) and how to get the text of the last block to show up entirely? When I excute this in ruby, in result set the sent_date is stores as (Tue Apr 20 00:00:00 UTC 2010) messages = Message.find_by_sql(sql) puts messages[0]['sent_date'] puts statement prints "Tue Apr 20 00:00:00 UTC 2010" how to get same date format in mysql result and ruby result set.
