  • Using Proguard for Android in Eclipse Problem

    I have taken a fresh install of Eclipse and all the latest Android tools and want to use Proguard on existing project, but for now I have created a new blank one. I have added a proguard.cfg file to my project added proguard.config=proguard.cfg to my default.properties Now when I try to export I get the following error [2010-12-12 10:36:35 - ApplicationTest] Proguard returned with error code 1. See console [2010-12-12 10:36:35 - ApplicationTest] 'C:\Program' is not recognized as an internal or external command, [2010-12-12 10:36:35 - ApplicationTest] operable program or batch file. [2010-12-12 10:36:35 - ApplicationTest] '-jar' is not recognized as an internal or external command, [2010-12-12 10:36:35 - ApplicationTest] operable program or batch file. I know it means there is a filepath setup incorrectly, question is where the heck is as I have looked through the general properties and project properties and can't see any reference to proguard or obfuscation so am stuck on what to change Any help appreciated.

  • Problem installing Maven plugin (m2eclipse) in Eclipse (Galileo)

    I have Eclipse Galileo (for Java EE Developers) installed, and I'm now trying to get the m2eclipse Maven plugin installed as well. I follow the basic steps described at http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/installing-m2eclipse.html, and it seems to be installing just fine. However, after restarting Eclipse after the install it doesn't seem to be anywhere. I should for instance have the ability to create a new maven project, but when the new-project wizard opens, there is no folder for Maven (I also cannot find any reference to it in the context menus of the existing projects I have). When I click at Help About Eclipse Installation Details, I find "Maven Integration for Eclipse (Required)" in the tab "Installed Software", yet another thing pointing towards a successful installation (but I can't find it under the "Plug-ins" tab, should it be there too?)... I feel like I'm just missing something very obvious, but right now I just don't see it...

    I have a really tricky thing going up here. My project has around 100 tables and they are all mapped by LINQ. Everything works fine in a dev and test environment. These enviroments are MS Win 2008 r2 servers with SQL 2008 sp1 databases. IIS and SQL are on a different machines. Now on production enviroment which is MS Win 2003 x64 web farm + geoclustered SQL 2008 IT DOES not work. They have precisely the same DBML, the DB has exactly THE SAME structure (when I get the DB from prod to TEST and mount it eveything works just great), the binaries on the WEB Server are the same. I seriously do not know what to do.... Did anyone found that Linq works on one env and does not on the second?? I mam really lost here. I really hope You can help me:)

What does it usually mean when you call a saveOrUpdate on a child object and... 1) If it is an insert everything works fine. 2) If it is an update its wiping out the parent ID in the database.

    I am able to successfully get the SID (SessionID) for my Google Reader account. In order to obtain the feed and do other operations inside Google Reader, you have to obtain an authorization token. I'm having trouble doing this.   • Problem with javascript in firefox when moving google ads

    hi. i have a website with google ads on it. i would like to make it load faster. thus i moved all the google scripts to the bottom of the page. i also have a placeholder at the location where the ad(s) should be displayed and other divs that (initially) get the ads. finally (in window.onload) i'm moving the ads that have just be fetched from google to their target locations. (a simple example page is here: http://www.nickles.de/temp/ads.html ) this works in ie, but it doesn't work in ff. (that is, in firefox, non-text ads show up fine, while text-ads don't. [or at least, not in a reliable way.]) any ideas what would be causing this? Thanks! -thomas woelfer

  • wpf window ghosting problem when resizing over two screens

    The title pretty much describes it. If I resize my WPF app so that it stretches over two monitors in a dual monitor setup, and resize it back, there will be a ghost window in the second monitor that does nothing, but is still moved when I move the original window in the first screen. Has anyone had issues like this? I think its a refresh bug on some OSs (I use WINXP 32 bit), but would like to confirm with the community.

    Hi, I'm trying to use a temporary tables to store some values I need for a query. The reason of using a temporary table is that I don't want to store the data permanently so different users can modify it at the same time. That data is just stored for a second, so I think a temporary table is the best approach for this. The thing is that it seems that the way I'm trying to use it is not right (the query works if I use a permanent one). In most cases you can change the location of your Java installation by setting the JAVA_HOME environment variable. I read somewhere that threads using native thread module in 2.6 dont make use of multiple cores. is that true?     I am trying to create a dialog box that will appear only if the browser selected is IE (any version) however I get this error: Message: HTML Parsing Error: Unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed (KB927917) That's all in "Line/Char/Code" 0 so I do not know where is the error.     Hello, I've created a UIDatePicker in my app and I also have support for several languages. My UIDatePicker is created in Interface Builder, and I have created a seperate localization XIB so I can customize my UIDatePicker. Setting the "Locale" option in IB appears to do nothing. Attempting to change my DatePicker programatically with Locale and NSCalender also do nothing via the following code: NSLocale * locale = [[NSLocale alloc] initWithLocaleIdentifier:@"es_ES"]; datePicker.locale = locale; datePicker.calender = [locale objectForKey:NSLocaleCalender]; This results in an english picker. Here's the really weird thing though. The word for "Today" is translated. As seen in the attached screenshot. (OK I'm not allowed to post images. But imagine a Date & Time picker with "May" in English and "Today" written "Ajourd'hui". Based on what I've read, adding the UIDatePicker programatically doesn't seem to help much.

When i echo the $sql, all the values are set properly. and when i ech the $result i get the value 1. can someone please tell me what am i doing wrong here??

  • Problem with Access 2003 linking tables with SQL Server 2008 using ODBC

    I am trying to link an Access 2003 DB to tables in a SQL Server 2008 database using ODBC. When I try to link to tables that have Primary Key established I get the following error message. " 'Pk_dbo.Batch_Claims' is not a valid name. Make sure that it does not include invalid characters or punctuation and that it is not to long. " Pk_dbo.Batch_Claims is the key value I see when looking at the table through SSMS. I have used Access for awhile but am somewhat new to SQL Server and connections using ODBC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
