• Creating PHP Forms with show/hide functionality [migrated]

  I want to create two reports and submit the report data to database by using two functions defined in a class: Here I have two buttons: "Create ES" and "Create RP". Rightnow, my forms are working fine, I can insert data successfully, but the problem was when I click on submit after filling the form data, the content is hiding and displays the fist div content "cs_content" and again I need to onclick to submit again. Could anyone give a solution for this. Requirement : When I click on "Create CS", I should be able to fill the form and submit data successfully with a message within "cs_content" and any form input errors, the errors should display within "cs_content".   Hi all, I'm using the Telerik ASP.net control suite (2008 Q3 I believe, can't upgrade yet). I've got a radcombobox in a Radgrid control (in a GridTemplateColumn's Edit template). If functions ok, but I've got some client side validation on other controls on the grid (that appear to be working without errors). For some reason after the client side validation happens, the combo box stops functioning. No visible js errors, the thing just dies. Anyone seen this and have fix? Google has failed me. I have installed tinyMCE javascript editor as well as ajaxfilemanager. Everything works except when accessing a file i get the following error: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /catalog/admin/includes/javascript/tinymce/plugins/ajaxfilemanager/ajaxfilemanager.php on this server. My question is: What's a nice, easy way to show a simple timer / clock using JQuery? (straight JS is also ok) I know how to check time, but how do I get incrementing seconds? My own searches keep leading me to JQuery plugins (I want to roll my own) and also "event timers" which are not what I'm looking for...

• jQuery issue - #<an Object> has no method

  I've tried a veriety of jQuery plugins recently and I keep getting this error … … regardless of what plugin I try to use. I've checked the links to the JS files which are all there and working fine. I'm using Drupal if that makes any difference. I've run the plugins away from the main site to demonstrate that they are working and that I am doing things right with 100% success. Any ideas? • Multiple calls to different page methods in same web page are not running in parallel (JQuery/Ajax/A

  I have several page methods defined in the code behind of an aspx page. I have several JS calls (see example below), one after the other, in the ready() method of JQuery to call these page methods. I noticed the javascript calls run asynchronously but the .NET page methods do not run in parallel. Page method 1 finishes first before page method 2 runs. Is there a way to get all the page methods to run all at the same time? • jquery.autocomplete doesn't work in compability mode

  I've read all the results I can find on SO about this without finding anything that applies to me, so don't judge me too quickly :) I am using jquery.autocomplete downloaded from here: http://www.dyve.net/jquery/?autocomplete together with http://ajax.microsoft.com/ajax/jquery/jquery-1.3.2.js This all works well in IE8 and FF, but as soon as I activate compability mode in IE8 I keep getting: Microsoft JScript runtime error: Object doesn't support this property or method When looking in the call stack, This is the one where it breaks: <script type="text/javascript"> $().ready(function() { $("#friendsearch").autocomplete("/Account/FindFriends"); }); </script> and then the calling function is this: if ( jQuery.readyList ) { // Execute all of them jQuery.each( jQuery.readyList, function(){ this.call( document, jQuery ); }); // Reset the list of functions jQuery.readyList = null; } where this line throws the error: this.call( document, jQuery ); Does anybody know why this happens? • Facebook's sharer.php - default view

  I'm using sharer.php to share an item to the user's wall. The facebook sharer has 2 views: Post to profile (default view) : And when you click on "send as a Message instead you get : What I'm trying to do is to have the 2nd view (send a message) as the default one. So when the user clicks 'Share this', it would show him directly the "send a message" view. Is that even possible using facebook? or anything else? maybe executing js code after the popups opens ? Thanks.
