    Hi, I have a parent form that contains a lot of controls. What I am trying to do is filter all of the key presses for that form. I'm fine until I hit a '[', as in: "gd$when": [{ "startTime": "2006-11-15", "endTime": "2006-11-17", "gd$reminder": [{"minutes": "10"}] }], I tried to do a eventTime = event["gd$when"]["startTime"]; to get to the 'startTime' (Yes, event is the variable for ajax stuff, it's all working fine until I hit the '[') Thanks for any help.

However it is possible to select some text from another textbox on the page and drag it into the textbox in which pastes are prevented.     I am trying to make a folder explorer using TreeView control. now, I added an ImageList with two images - one for a folder and the other for selected folder. I used the 'BeforeExpand' event to change the icon of the current node (folder). The problem is that I dont know how to change it back when the user selects other folder... what event can I use? Maybe I dont use it right... ?

  • How to "bubble" a Controls features when place in a custom UserControl

    I'll try to explain what Im after. I dont know the technical term for it, so here goes: Example 1: If I place a LisView on a Form and add som columns I am able, in Design-Time, to click-and-drag the columns to resize them. Example 2: Now, I place a ListView in a UserControl and name it "MyCustomListView" (and perhaps add some method to enhance it somehow). If I know place the "MyCustomListView" on a Form I am unable to click-and-drag the column headers to resize them in Design-Time. Is there any way to easily make that happen? Some form of "pass the click-and-drag event to the underlying control and let that control do its magic". Im not really looking to recode, just pass on the mouseclick (or whatever it is) and let the, in this case, ListView react as it did in the first example above. Regards

    hi, i'm coding a little app for controlling soulseek - what i want do is clicking the "Search Files" button by code. i've got the handle to the tabbed control (SysTabControl32) and managed to change the tab with following code: rc1 = SendMessage(hwnd, TCM_SETCURFOCUS, ByVal 0, ByVal 0&) the problem: the tab control is changing to the proper button, but nothing happens. i assume i also also have to send a mouseclick to it, as when clicking by mouse, the button goes down and up again. any ideas how to do this? thx

  • Graphics/Bitmap Limits?

    Im having some weird problems with Graphics and Bitmap. I have a Graphics Object that is displayed on a PictureBox and im capturing the MouseMove and MouseClick Events that give X and Y Position of the Mouse on the Image but if the Y Position goes Bigger then 32775 it then goes into Negatives which means everything breaks. And if the Image is Bigger then 65535 it then stops displaying the Image. Any Ideas how these problems can be fixed? Thanks Example Code: http://pastebin.com/YEX0XD1q Just Click Make 10,000 Bigger about 4 times then scroll down and on the right it will show the mouse X and Y position and as you move down through the image and hover over the Red Area if you go down enough it will go into Negative Y.

    I have a <div id="comment_posting_holder"> tag that holds a form with two elements: a textarea box and a submit button. I want to have the div tag (containing the textarea and submit button) disappear if I click somewhere "OTHER" than the submit button. I have a start for the code below. So upon leaving focus from the textarea, I can make the div tag disappear. I tried placing in a mouseclick event inside the blur function for the submit button but that did not work. Any suggestions? Thank you! **Facebook does this with it's comments.   • dynamic html "more information" callout / annotation (jquery? ajax control toolkit?)

    Hola, I have an app i'm building in c#, and i'd like to have the ability to have a user click a "more information" icon next to a field, which will then show a callout with some blurb about why the field contains what it does. ideally it'd look a lot like the ValidatorCallout, but instead of being shown as a result of validation, it'll be shown as a result of a mouseclick, or hover. Anyone know of a nice way to do this with either the ajaxcontroltoolkit, or jquery? cheers for any help you can give me.
