  • How to execute a batch file from C#?

    I didn't think this was going to be hard. I have a commmand file, d:\a.cmd which contains: copy /b d:\7zS.sfx + d:\config.txt + d:\files.7z d:\setup.exe But this line of C# wont' execute it: Process.Start("d:\\a.cmd"); Throws Win32Exception: "%1 is not a valid Win32 application." Process.Start opens .pdf files...why not execute command files? Thanks in advance, Jim

    I have setup remote debugging in netbeans. It works except codeigniter only loads the default controller (home page). I have enabled query strings with $config['enable_query_strings'] = TRUE; The debugger opens up a page with the following url http://blinkfilms.ben.dev/myid/tests?XDEBUG_SESSION_START=netbeans-xdebug So codeigniter should fire up the controller in controllers/myid/tests.php

  • Qt Plugins Not Working

    I've created a custom widget plugin. The plugin integrates fine with Qt Creator but when I compile the program, I'm getting this error: "test.h: No such file or directory" Where test.h is the name of the custom widget. What am I doing wrong?     When I trying to send form containing value with xml, I get HttpRequestValidationException: A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client All approaches I found: <%@ Page ValidateRequest="false" %> in .aspx-file. <pages validateRequest="false" /> in web.config. [ValidateInput(false)] on controller's action. don't help me. Hope for any advice.

    I have a dll that is referenced by the parent (executing) assembly. In the ApplicationSettings section of the app.config for the parent assembly I have some settings that can be accessed in the normal intellisense manner (e.g. Properties.Settings.Default.SMTPServer). How do I access these settings from the referenced dll? I obviously can't use intellisense as they are not in the same assembly!

  • Why do some cookies have a '.' before the domain?

    Trying to share cookies accross 2 domains in asp.net, for some reason 1 domain has a '.' before the domain, and the other doesn't. Why is that? e.g: .staging.example.com and staging.example.com Is this something to do with how I create the cookie, or a web.config change? I am not using forms authentication, just creating a cookie manually.

Namely: %USERPROFILE%.hgrc (is that a valid windows file name?) %USERPROFILE%\Mercurial.ini \Mercurial\Mercurial.ini C:\Mercurial\Mercurial.ini (no such directory altogether) %HOME%.hgrc (what is this directory) %HOME%\Mercurial.ini HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mercurial (no registry created) .hg\hgrc (i had to create this file manually to solve my problem)

    It's very strange that the session will never expire if i use memcached store even i set config.action_controller.session :session_expires = 1.seconds.from_now And I use extended_fragment_cache to cache fragment, I meet the same problem <% Cache "my_page", {:expires = 1.minutes} do ... % never expired!     Working in a medium size project during last 4 months - we are using JPA and Spring - I'm quite sure that JPA is not powerfull for projects that requires more than CRUD screen... Query interface is poor, Hibernate doesn't respect JPA spec all the time and lot of times I need to use hibernate classes, annotations and config. What do you guys think about JPA? Is it not good enough?

  • How do I remove sensitive files from git's history

    I would like to put a git project ( Rails app ) on github, but it contains certian files with sensitive data ( usernames and passwords, like /config/deploy.rb for capistrano ). I know I can add these filenames to .gitignore, but this would not remove the their history within git. I also don't want to start over again by deleting the /.git directory. Is there a way to remove all traces of a particular file in your git history?

  • What is the impact of upgrading MSBuild to VS2010 for projects targeting .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.5?

    I’m working on the build process for a VS 2010 solution and some projects within it target the .NET framework 4.0. As far as I know, to have this type of solution built by TFS 2008 we will have to change the version of the MSBuild.exe file used by the build agent – modifying the TFSBuildService.exe.config file, pointing MSBuildPath entry accordingly. Do you know if this will have any impact to existing project builds that target the 2.0 and 3.5 framework? Are you aware of any known issues with this type of set up?
