    Hi everybody, I've a custom itemRenderer for my datagrid. To set the actual data I use the following method: override public function set data(side:Object):void{ ... } As soon as I use this function the cell doesn't show up any item Editor anymore. Why is that? When I remove this function the itemEditor is working but with the wrong initialization data... What's the proper way to handle this? Thanks, Markus

    I'm trying to convert an XPS document to a BMP so that a C# Windows Forms app using MODI can read it, because my understanding is that MODI cannot read XPS files, only .tif and .bmp I can't seem to locate the XpsDocument class. Can anyone tell me how to incorporate this into my Windows Forms app? thanks!

    Hi guys, I want to override the validation_errors() method of the form helper in CodeIgniter for one controller only, so that it will display a single error message (as a sentence in plain english) instead of the detailed line item summary. I've tried defining a validation_errors() function in my controller, which is what I usually do with Silverstripe's Sapphire framework, but this won't with CI. What's the best way to override methods for a case by case basis?

    Hey, I noticed that when I do this : [myParser setDelegate:self]; it works :D (even if I didn't add the code in the header file ... you know, the <delegateStuff, delegateOtherStuff> in the interface declaration) When are you supposed to modify the header file to make your delegate work ?     C# Winforms 3.5 I have a list of user controls all derived from one base class. These controls can be added to various panels and I'm trying to implement the drag-drop functionality, the problem I'm running in to is on the DragDrop event. The DragEventArgs: e.Data.GetData(typeof(baseClass)) doesn't work. It wants: e.Data.GetData(typeof(derivedClass1)) e.Data.GetData(typeof(derivedClass2)) etc... Is there a way I can get around this, or a better way to architect it?

  • What is an efficient method for partitioning and aggregating intervals from timestamped rows in a da

    From a data frame with timestamped rows (strptime results), what is the best method for aggregating statistics for intervals? Intervals could be an hour, a day, etc. I've found the aggregate function, but that doesn't help with assigning each row to an interval. I'm planning on adding a column to the data frame that denotes interval and using that with aggregate, but if there's a better solution it'd be great to hear it. Thanks for any pointers!

    I have a Permissions class with methods in fluent style like this: somePermissions.setRead(true).setWrite(false).setExecute(true) The question is, whether I should name these methods set{Property} or only {property}. The latter would look like this: somePermissions.read(true).write(false).execute(true) If I look at these methods separately I would expect that read reads something, but on the other hand it is closer to the intention to have something like named paramaters like in Scala: Permission(read=true, write=false, execute=true)
