    Firstly i changed color borders of my sheet to white, because i want to have a white sheet. Then i made some headers and want to make border around it. The Problem is it made borders between the values in header but top, down are not seenable.   • How to download a file from a server using Java Socket?

    Hi, I have an assignment about uploading and downloading a file to a server. I managed to do the uploading part using Java Sockets however I am having a hard time doing the downloading part. I should use Range: for downloading parellel. In my request, I should have the Range: header. But I don't understand how I will receive the file with that HTTP GET request. All the examples I have seen was about uploading a file. I already did it. I can upload .exe, image, .pdf, anything and when I download them back (by my browser), there are no errors. Can you help me with the downloading part? Can you give me an example beacuse I really didn't get it.

  • SQL 2003 Distance Latitude Longitude

    I have a table full of Dealers along with their latitude and longitude. I am trying to determine the top n closest dealers to any given lat and lon. I already have the function to calculate distance between locations, but I want to do as few calculations as possible (my table can contain many thousands of entries). Currently I have to calculate the distance for each entry then sort them. Is there any way to sort before I do the calculation to improve performance? This question is good, but I will not always know my range. Should I just pick an arbitrarily high range then refine my results?   • LuaInterface and 64Bit

    Ok i'm currently using LuaScript v5.1 in a Game engine i'm using. and the handy LuaInterface that comes along with it. i've tested it on a range of systems running a range of OS's. LuaInterface seems to fail on 64bit Operating Systems. Could anyone point me to a 64bit Compiled LuaInterface.dll, or is there any alternative to the LuaInterface that can be used, because LuaInterface is extremely useful and i dont think i would be able to write a more extensive interface by myself using lua51. (I'm not that good, sadly) Any help or links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks alot guys!

  • App engine datastore - query on Enum fields.

    I am using GAE(Java) with JDO for persistence. I have an entity with a Enum field which is marked as @Persistent and gets saved correctly into the datastore (As observed from the Datastore viewer in Development Console). But when I query these entities putting a filter based on the Enum value, it is always returning me all the entities whatever value I specify for the enum field. I know GAE java supports enums being persisted just like basic datatypes. But does it also allow retrieving/querying based on them? Google search could not point me to any such example code. Details: I have printed the Query just before being executed. So in two cases the query looks like - SELECT FROM com.xxx.yyy.User WHERE role == super ORDER BY key desc RANGE 0,50 SELECT FROM com.xxx.yyy.User WHERE role == admin ORDER BY key desc RANGE 0,50 Both above queries return me all the User entities from datastore in spite of datastore viewer showing some Users are of type 'admin' and some are of type 'super'.

    I am generating tables and writing them to word on the fly. I do not know how many tables there will be each time i write the data to word and the problem I am having is the second table is written inside the first cell of my first table. If there was a third table it is put inside the first cell of my second table. Is there a way to move the cursor out of the table? I have tried creating a new range with each table also but the same thing happens. I have also tried things like tbl.Range.InsertParagraphAfter() The closest I came was using the Relocate method, but this only worked for two tables. Thanks Ben

  • Get XAML from WPF Custom RichTextFormat

    I've looked at other posts, but i cant seem to find something that works. I have a custom control WPF RichTextBox and would like to obtain the XAML from this control. I have tried the following //rt is the name of this particular custom richtextbox TextRange range = new TextRange(rt.Document.ContentStart, rt.Document.ContentEnd); MemoryStream stream = new MemoryStream(); range.Save(stream, DataFormats.Xaml); string xamlText = Encoding.UTF8.GetString(stream.ToArray()); return xamlText; but this doesnt seem to work :s I can access the rt.Document.Content start etc but it seems to crash there "Object Reference not set to instance of an object". I am using the richtextbox directly from the .xaml.cs so it should be initiated and so on :s. Any Ideas or other ways to get the XAML from a richtextbox pls? (i'm requiring the XAML cos i actually want to get the HTML.. if theres some other direct manner perhaps?)

  • Is there a way to chain multiple value converters in XAML?

    I've got a situation in which I need to show an integer value, bound to a property on my data context, after putting it through two separate conversions: Reverse the value within a range (e.g. range is 1 to 100; value in datacontext is 90; user sees value of 10) convert the number to a string I realise I could do both steps by creating my own converter (that implements IValueConverter). However, I've already got a separate value converter that does just the first step, and the second step is covered by Int32Converter. Is there a way I can chain these two existing classes in XAML without having to create a further class that aggregates them? If I need to clarify any of this, please let me know. :) Thanks.

    I have simple map-reduce type algorithm, which I want to implement in python and make use of multiple cores. I read somewhere that threads using native thread module in 2.6 dont make use of multiple cores. is that true?   • Python: Why is IDLE so slow?

    Hi, IDLE is my favorite Python editor. It offers very nice and intuitive Python shell which is extremely useful for unit-testing and debugging, and a neat debugger. However, code executed under IDLE is insanely slow. By insanely I mean 3 orders of magnitude slow: bash time echo "for i in range(10000): print 'x'," | python Takes 0.052s, IDLE import datetime start=datetime.datetime.now() for i in range(10000): print 'x', end=datetime.datetime.now() print end-start Takes: >>> 0:01:44.853951 Which is roughly 2,000 times slower.   • how to load an image to a grid using pygame, instead of just using a fill color?

    I am trying to create a "map of a city" using pygame. I want to be able to put images of buildings in specific grid coords rather than just filling them in with a color. I've tried some of the samples online but can't seem to get them to work. Any help is appreciated. If anyone have a good source for free sprites that I can use for pygame, please let me know. When this happens, I would like the chart to tell the user somehow that there are data points three, just outside the range, perhaps by drawing a straight line across the top or bottom of the graph.
