  I have a Windows Server 2003 64bits, and it has two IE8 inside, 32-bit and 64-bit. When I run "iexplore.exe", debug in visual studio, clicking links, and etc, the 64-bit will popup and some plugins do not work. How can I fix my system that it will always run the 32-bit IE by default?

• Firefox appending .xls extension to .xlsx files

  We are serving files with the .xlsx (excel 2007/2010) extension. IE, Chrome, Safari all download the file and open excel just fine. Firefox is being stupid. For some reason it's appending .xls to the extension. I found this: https://support.mozilla.com/bs/questions/758363 However, the instructions weren't very specific and completely unclear to me.   From what I gather (e.g. http://tutorialfeed.blogspot.com/2009/06/ie-8-perk-access-multiple-gmail.html ) one can get a new IE8 window clean from older cookies and independent of what's going on in other windows. Alas, when I try that web sites still remember me in the window of the new session. Any ideas what's wrong in my setup? Thanks!

  I'm using VirtualBox OSE on Ubuntu 10.04. I have a Windows 7 guest VM which I use almost exclusively for MS Outlook to access my Exchange mailbox. If I click a URL in Outlook it obviously opens in IE in the guest VM, is there any way to have it perform a redirect of some sort? If I click a URL inside the VM, I want it to load in my default browser in the Ubuntu host.
