    I love VS2010s multi-framework targeting feature, yet it has bitten me in the rear-end more than once. The problem is that I have created projects in .NET 3.5 without realizing it, then at some point, when something doesnt work as expected, if Im lucky I discover the mistake. Typically, this happens after you have explicitly chosen .NET 3.5 as the target framework. Then every project after that will be .NET 3.5 until you explicitly choose .NET 4.0 again.     I have a silverlight application (using MVC) and when i'm building in visual studio, using Visual Studio Development center, there's no problem, the HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name has a Value But when i'm using the same project with IIS 7.5 (i'm using Windows 7), HttpContext.Current.User.Identity.Name stays empty Anyone who can help? Or knows where i can find the settings from the visual studio Development center, so i can check what's wrong in IIS?

I do most of my development in Visual Studio 2010 and also use Eclipse and Weblogic 10. Also planning to use WPF/Silverlight in the future.   • How to fix "could not find a base address that matches schema http"... in WCF

    I'm trying to deploy a WCF service to my server, hosted in IIS. Naturally it works on my machine :) But when I deploy it, I get the following error: This collection already contains an address with scheme http. There can be at most one address per scheme in this collection. Googling on this, I find that I have to put a serviceHostingEnvironment element into the web.config file: <serviceHostingEnvironment> <baseAddressPrefixFilters> <add prefix="http://mywebsiteurl"/> </baseAddressPrefixFilters> </serviceHostingEnvironment> But once I have done this, I get the following: Could not find a base address that matches scheme http for the endpoint with binding BasicHttpBinding. Registered base address schemes are [https]. It seems it doesn't know what the base address is, but how do I specify it?   • DataForm Control like in SL3 for WPF

    Hi Im looking for a control like the DataForm which is new in Silverlight 3 for handling the whole binding and validation logic (declarativly with property attributes etc) for WPF. I always thout of SL as a subset of WPF but there seems to bee no DataForm control, at least not in the System.Windows.Controls namespace like in SL (I know SL uses another CLR) Have i overlooked something?
