  • How to transform a csv to combine matching rows?

    - by Christian Wolf
    I have a CSV file with some transaction data. Let's say date, volume, price and direction (sell/buy). Additionally there is a ID for each transaction and on each closing transaction (the newer one) there is a reference to the corresponding transaction. Classical database referencing. Now I want to do some statistics and draw some plots. This could be done via Octave, LaTeX/TikZ, Gnuplot or whatever. To do this I need both buy and sell price in one row. My thought was to preprocess the CSV to get another CSV containing the needed information and then to do the statistics. In the end I'd like to have a solution based on scripts and not on a spreadsheet as data might change often (exported from online DB). My actual solution (see http://paste.ubuntu.com/6262822/ ) is a bash script that parses the CSV line by line and checks if there exists a corresponding transaction. If found, a new row is written to the destination CSV. If not a warning is printed. The bad news: For each row in the source file I have to read the whole file a few times. This causes long running times of 10sec for 300 lines. As the line number might rise soon (10k lines), this is not perfect. I am aware, that there are many shells to be opened in the script which might cause the performance problems. Now my questions: Is bash/awk/sed/.... a good way to do things? Should I first import all data into a "real" local database to use SQL? Is there an easy way to achieve the desired results?

  • Creating "save as" functionality to .eml file in AppleScript

    - by unieater
    I'm new to AppleScript and trying to figure out how to save a Mail.app message as an .eml message. Ideally, I would like it to act similar to the Mail menu bar actions, in which it saves the message and the attachments together. The workflow is that you have a selection in Mail, hit a hotkey and the function creates a filename (newFile) for the email to be saved. I just need help with how to save the message to the path (theFolder) in an .eml format. tell application "Mail" set msgs to selection if length of msgs is not 0 then display dialog "Export selected message(s)?" if the button returned of the result is "OK" then set theFolder to choose folder with prompt "Save Exported Messages to..." without invisibles repeat with msg in msgs -- determine date received of msg and put into YYYYMMDD format set msgDate to date received of msg -- parse date SEMversion below using proc pad2() set {year:y, month:m, day:d, hours:h, minutes:min} to (msgDate) set msgDate to ("" & y & my pad2(m as integer) & my pad2(d)) -- assign subject of msg set msgSubject to (subject of msg) -- create filename.eml to be use as title saved set newFile to (msgDate & "_" & msgSubject & ".eml") as Unicode text -- copy mail message to the folder and prepend date-time to file name -- THIS IS WEHRE I AM COMPLETE LOST HOW SAVE THE EMAIL into theFolder end repeat beep 2 display dialog "Done exporting " & length of msgs & " messages." end if -- OK to export msgs end if -- msgs > 0 end tell on pad2(n) return text -2 thru -1 of ("00" & n) end pad2

  • Automatic o/s reset on a dedicated internet browsing Windows 7 pc.

    - by camelCase
    I have just purchased a new Acer Revo nettop PC for dedicated internet browsing. It will be the only pc on a home network. My original plan was to install one virtual PC for family browsing, another for remote web based server administration and ban browser use from the host Windows 7 o/s. The idea was that I could recover to a fresh VHD image once a week to eliminate any build up of malware inside the browser VMs. However now I am looking for alternative solutions since the Intel Atom cpu does not have hardware VT support which Windows Virtual PC requires. Would it be possible to engineer some type of routine overnight host o/s wipe and recovery? I guess cyber cafes do something like this? The only user data that would need to be retained across a recovery would be browser bookmarks but these could be exported to remote service. Edit 1: I am thinking the o/s reset could be done via some disk image recovery process. Edit 2: Just had a brainwave. Routine browsing could be done via the new Google Chrome O/S. I have just seen a video of the Google Chrome o/s booting off a usb pen drive in seconds.

  • Recovering ZFS pool with errors on import.

    - by Sqeaky
    I have a machine that had some trouble with some bad RAM. After I diagnosed it and removed the offending stick of RAM, The ZFS pool in the machine was trying to access drives by using incorrect device names. I simply exported the pool and re-imported it to correct this. However I am now getting this error. The pool Storage no longer automatically mounts sqeaky@sqeaky-media-server:/$ sudo zpool status no pools available A regular import says its corrupt sqeaky@sqeaky-media-server:/$ sudo zpool import pool: Storage id: 13247750448079582452 state: UNAVAIL status: The pool is formatted using an older on-disk version. action: The pool cannot be imported due to damaged devices or data. config: Storage UNAVAIL insufficient replicas raidz1 UNAVAIL corrupted data 805066522130738790 ONLINE sdd3 ONLINE sda3 ONLINE sdc ONLINE A specific import says the vdev configuration is invalid sqeaky@sqeaky-media-server:/$ sudo zpool import Storage cannot import 'Storage': invalid vdev configuration I should have 4 devices in my ZFS pool: /dev/sda3 /dev/sdd3 /dev/sdc /dev/sdb I have no clue what 805066522130738790 is but I plan on investigating further. I am also trying to figure out how to use zdb to get more information about what the pool thinks is going on. For reference This was setup this way, because at the time this machine/pool was setup it needed certain Linux features and booting from ZFS wasn't yet supported in Linux. The partitions sda1 and sdd1 are in a raid 1 for the operating system and sdd2 and sda2 are in a raid1 for the swap. Any clue on how to recover this ZFS pool?

  • Is this a legitimate registry key? (windows 7)

    - by Keyes
    In hkey_local_machine/software/classes I found some registry keys named msime.taiwan, msime.japan and a couple others with similar names, except with a number at the end of, so there was 4 keys altogether. From what I know itmcoulc be associated with a thing in windows that lets you write japanese characters or whatever. I also found a macaffee page, , which seemed dated but it said the key is created by a virus named w32 virut. Just wondering is this a legit key? I found it on another pc and both pcs show when exported to a .txt show it was last written to in 2009. Here is the reg query for the 4 keys. (added lines to differentiate them.) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Japan (Default) REG_SZ Microsoft IME (Japanese) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Japan\CLSID (Default) REG_SZ {6A91029E-AA49-471B-AEE7-7D332785660D} HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Japan\CurVer (Default) REG_SZ MSIME.Japan.11 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Japan.11 (Default) REG_SZ Microsoft IME (Japanese) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Japan.11\CLSID (Default) REG_SZ {6A91029E-AA49-471B-AEE7-7D332785660D} HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Taiwan\CLSID (Default) REG_SZ {F407D01A-0BCB-4591-9BD6-EA4A71DF0799} HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Taiwan\CurVer (Default) REG_SZ MSIME.Taiwan.8 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Taiwan.8 (Default) REG_SZ IMTCCORE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\MSIME.Taiwan.8\CLSID (Default) REG_SZ {F407D01A-0BCB-4591-9BD6-EA4A71DF0799}

  • mysqldump --where with = operator doesn't get all rows = - Help!

    - by JonathanLIVE
    I have a situation with a particular table that now thinks it contains 4 Petabytes of data. I know that sounds cool, but I assure you, it is only on a 60GB partition. This table has 9 fields in it. One of them is a domain_id field. It is the best field to identify the rows by, as there are only approximately 6300 of them. The only other field option to match has over 2million records, and thats just more difficult. I cannot do a straight mysqldump because it will attempt to output all 4PB of data and fill the drive long before it gets close to that, so I need to surgically remove the good stuff, destroy the db, and recreate it. I believe if I can do a dump for each domain_id record, then I will get most of the usable data out of it. This is what I am trying to use: mysqldump -u root --skip-opt -q --no-create-info --skip-add-drop-table --max_allowed_packet=1000000000 database table --where="domain_id=10" domains10.sql Using this I expect every row with the domain_id 10 to be exported. However, when I check the export, I am only getting 1 row, when however I look at the db, there are many many rows. It is as though the operator just finds one, then gives up. I have tried various operators. Using the < or I am able to get more of the data, but the export stops short at certain rows where the data has been compromised. With over 6000 to go through, I can't narrow down which rows are being affected in the export easily enough. So, what I need is an operator that will basically do what I thought = would do, simply give me an export of all records that match the specific field. Also note, the only way I got this DB even accessible is through an innodb force recovery 3. So I need to get this right, because after this is done, I have to drop the db in order to make mysql functional again. Looking forward to any helpful answers.

  • Getting the EFS Private Key out of system image

    - by thaimin
    I had to recently re-install Windows 7 and I lost my exported private key for EFS. I however have the entirety of my user directory and my figuring that the key must be in there SOMEWHERE. The only question is how to get it out. I did find the PUBLIC keys in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My\Certificates If I import them using certmg.msc it says I do have the private key in the information, but if I try export them it says I do not have the private key. Also, decryption of files doesn't work. There is also a "keys" folder at AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My\Keys. After importing the certificates I copy those over into my new installation but it has no effect. I am starting to believe they are either in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Protect\S-1-5-21-...\ or AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\S-1-5-21-...\ but I am unsure how to use the files in those folders. Also, since my SID has changed, will I be able to use them? The other parts of the account have remained the same (name and password). I also have complete access to the user registry hive and most of the old system files (including the old system registry hives). I do keep seeing references to "Key Recovery Agent" but have not found anything about using, just that it can be used. Thanks!

  • Imported Hyper-V VM hangs

    - by BParker
    I have a pair of Hyper-V servers (Server 2008 R2 + Hyper-V role). I have duplicated one VM (exported from the first Hyper-V server to the Second) which seems to keep hanging. The VM is running XP SP3, and has the Virtual Additions installed. The first version runs fine, cpu normally around 0%-2% when idle and responds happily. The second version runs very poorly, and keeps running at an idle of around 8% cpu. I have checked the VM with Process Explorer, and the Idle process is (as expected) taking nearly all the cpu time, but what it's not using doesn't seem to show up in any other process. For example at one point idle dipped to 73%, but i could only account for anoth 4.5% in other processes. After some time (around 1-2 days) the VM seems to become so unresponsive, the only way to resurect it is to power-off the VM and reboot (shutdown via the Hyper- V console of via the VM seems to be impossible). Does anyone have any suggestions on how to trace the source of the problem? Thanks

  • Specific issue on data pump API in oracle

    - by Median Hilal
    I have a client/server architecture. Using an Oracle dbms on the database server side. I need to perform a user-triggered (from client side) backup of the database, where the best way to perform that is using a stored procedure on the server side which the client may call, as the client has no oracle tools to perform the backup. I've searched thorough inside available solutions and have found that using a stored procedure is the best way. Well, then I found that using oracle data pump API is the best way to use inside a PL/SQl stored procedure. My specific questions about the API are... I would like to ask about two issues ... ---- The first ----- the detach function to detach the handler, is it necessary to be used at the end of the procedure? and what if I don't use it? I read the Oracle documentation but I didn't get their point, they say it doesn't terminate the job but indicates that the user is not interested in it, an when I use detach at the end of my procedure the exported .dmp file disappears. ---- The second ----- to perform a user (client side) triggered back up as the modification are only to the data, I used TABLE parameter for the export operation. But the version parameter... what should it be? I also read the documentation but couldn't determine what I need (LATEST or COMPATIBLE) ? Thanks

  • Hyper-V snapshots – unable to start VM

    - by ahmedz
    I restarted my Host server after shutting down three guest VMs. After I restarted the machine I tried to start the VMs and got an error stating the the VM failed to start. SERVERNAME failed to start. Attachment 'avhd file path' is read only. Please provide read/write access to the attachment. Error: 'General access denied error' SERVENAME failed to start. (virtual machine ID 17292200-wd22-dd22-d23-dddddd2222) The issue seems to be with the disk space. The VHD file for this VM is 128 GB and there are two AVHD files of 58 and 75 GB. Whereas the total disk space on this drive (E) is 280 GB - the free space is only around 23 GB. I understand that the error is caused by the unavailability of the required disk space. Unfortunately, I cannot increase the disk space on this drive. However I have another drive (D) that has 400 GB of free space. I exported this VM to D drive and then tried to add the copied AVHD files but it gives me a similar error. I am running Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter. Any help is appreciated.

  • How to "open" existing VMs in Hyper-V without importing them?

    - by Borek
    I had a PC with two physical disks: C: containing the host operating system D: containing a folder D:\VMs where all my virtual machines were stored Now, the C: disk died. I bought a new one, reinstalled Windows on it, enabled Hyper-V feature and now I just need to open the VMs from the D:\VMs folder. However, I don't seem to be able to find a menu item or anything that would allow me to do that - the only thing I see is the "import" command which unfortunately requires the VMs to be explicitly exported (my machines weren't). I firmly believe that when I have all the files constituting a VM (the VHD file, some XML files describing the settings etc.) it must be somehow possible to just "open" these existing VMs in Hyper-V, right? What command am I missing? Edit: I know I can create a blank virtual machines and then just point them to use existing VHDs. However, I am not sure about all the different settings I've made to those VMs so I hope there's a way to simply open those existing VMs instead of recreating them.

  • Windows 7 - "Magic" frequent folder

    - by TheAdamGaskins
    Every week, I export an mp3 file from audacity into a folder with that day's date (e.g. this past sunday I exported the file to a folder named 20130609). Then I close everything and that's it for a while. Then, I come back a few hours later to upload the file to ftp. I usually have some folders open, so to open a new one, I right click on the folder icon on the taskbar... to open a new folder window and browse to this folder I just created, right? Well I look up a little bit and: So I click it and upload the file, and it actually saves me 30 seconds, which is really awesome... but what in the world? It happens every single week without fail. I create the folder inside the audacity export window. The folder stays on the frequent list until I create a new folder the following week. This was definitely not an advertised feature of Windows 7, and it's extremely handy... but it really just seems like magic to me. How does it work?

  • C#.Net Calling a C++ DLL

    - by hayer
    Hi I got a DLL(without the sourcecode) which exports like this: ?ReceiveCoreDataPtr@@YAXPAX@Z ?xenoAddRigidBodyAngularImpulse@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoAddRigidBodyForce@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoAddRigidBodyForce@@YAXHMMMMMM@Z ?xenoAddRigidBodyLinearImpulse@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoAddRigidBodyPointImpulse@@YAXHMMMMMM@Z ?xenoAddRigidBodyTorque@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoCharacterControllerCrouch@@YAXH@Z ?xenoCharacterControllerJump@@YAXH@Z ?xenoCharacterDisable@@YAXH@Z ?xenoCharacterEnable@@YAXH@Z ?xenoDeleteRigidBody@@YAXH@Z ?xenoEnd@@YAXXZ ?xenoGetCameraFOV@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCameraPointX@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCameraPointY@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCameraPointZ@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCameraPositionX@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCameraPositionY@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCameraPositionZ@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCharacterControllerHeadPosition@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCharacterControllerPositionX@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCharacterControllerPositionY@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCharacterControllerPositionZ@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetCharacterControllerRotation@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyAllowedPenetrationDepth@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyAngularDamping@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyAngularVelocityX@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyAngularVelocityY@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyAngularVelocityZ@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyFriction@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyGravityFactor@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyLinearDamping@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyLinearVelocityX@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyLinearVelocityY@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyLinearVelocityZ@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyMass@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyMaxAngularVelocity@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyMaxLinearVelocity@@YAKH@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyPointVelocityX@@YAKHMMM@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyPointVelocityY@@YAKHMMM@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyPointVelocityZ@@YAKHMMM@Z ?xenoGetRigidBodyRestitution@@YAKH@Z ?xenoIsRigidBodyALadder@@YAHH@Z ?xenoMakeCamera@@YAXHH@Z ?xenoMakeCharacterController@@YAXHMM@Z ?xenoMakeCharacterController@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoMakeCharacterController@@YAXHMMMM@Z ?xenoMakeCharacterController@@YAXHMMMMM@Z ?xenoMakeCharacterController@@YAXHMMMMMM@Z ?xenoMakeCharacterController@@YAXHMMMMMMM@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicBox@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicBox@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicCapsule@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicCapsule@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicCylinder@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicCylinder@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicSphere@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicSphere@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyStaticBox@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyStaticCapsule@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyStaticCylinder@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyStaticSphere@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeRigidBodyStaticTriangleMesh@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMakeVehicle@@YAXHH@Z ?xenoMoveCharacterControllerBackward@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMoveCharacterControllerForward@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMoveCharacterControllerLeft@@YAXH@Z ?xenoMoveCharacterControllerRight@@YAXH@Z ?xenoSetCharacterControllerPosition@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoSetCharacterControllerRotation@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetGravity@@YAXM@Z ?xenoSetGravity@@YAXMMM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyAllowedPenetrationDepth@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyAngularDamping@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyAngularVelocity@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyAsLadder@@YAXHH@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyFriction@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyGravityFactor@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyLinearDamping@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyLinearVelocity@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyMass@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyMaxAngularVelocity@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyMaxLinearVelocity@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyPosition@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyRestitution@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoSetRigidBodyRotation@@YAXHMMM@Z ?xenoSetTimeStep@@YAXM@Z ?xenoStart@@YAXH@Z ?xenoStart@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoStart@@YAXHMH@Z ?xenoStart@@YAXXZ ?xenoUpdate@@YAXXZ ?xenoVehicleAccelerate@@YAXHM@Z ?xenoVehicleHandbrake@@YAXH@Z ?xenoVehicleReverse@@YAXH@Z ?xenoVehicleTurn@@YAXHM@Z When I try to use it in another C++ App like this #include <windows.h> class XenoPhysics { private: typedef void (*FunctionFunc)(void); To call the functions I'm doing XenoPhysics * d = new XenoPhysics(); d->LoadLib(); d->xStart(); It then throws the following error at me(Note that it passes the LoadLib() without any errors) Unhandled exception at 0x50261bc9 in Xeno Test.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00000064. And yes; I've checked that the "curFunc" gets the address, not just a NULL pointer(atleast I think I've checked that).. Anyone who can help out? Edit: Forgot the C#.Net code, how stupid of me :3 Here is the C++ CLR DLL "wrapper" I tried to make: #include <windows.h> // The following ifdef block is the standard way of creating macros which make exporting // from a DLL simpler. This way any other project whose source files include this file see // XENOWRAPPERWIN32_API functions as being imported from a DLL, whereas this DLL sees symbols // defined with this macro as being exported. #ifdef XENOWRAPPERWIN32_EXPORTS #define XENOWRAPPERWIN32_API __declspec(dllexport) #else #define XENOWRAPPERWIN32_API __declspec(dllimport) #endif typedef void (*FunctionFunc)(); typedef void (*FunctionFuncFloat)(float); typedef void (*FunctionFuncInt)(int); typedef void (*FunctionIntFloatFloatFloat)(int,float,float,float); // This class is exported from the xeno wrapper win32.dll class XENOWRAPPERWIN32_API Cxenowrapperwin32 { public: Cxenowrapperwin32(void); HINSTANCE libInstance; // FunctionFunc curFunc; // Library base functions void LoadLib() { libInstance = LoadLibrary(L"F:\\xenophysics.dll"); } void UnloadLib() { FreeLibrary(libInstance); } // Function calls to the xeno physics void xStart() { FunctionFunc curFunc; curFunc = (FunctionFunc)GetProcAddress(libInstance, "?xenoStart@@YAXXZ"); curFunc(); } void xEnd() { FunctionFunc curFunc; curFunc = (FunctionFunc)GetProcAddress(libInstance, "?xenoEnd@@YAXXZ"); curFunc(); } void xUpdate() { FunctionFunc curFunc; curFunc = (FunctionFunc)GetProcAddress(libInstance, "?xenoUpdate@@YAXXZ"); curFunc(); } void xMakeRigidBodyStaticBox(int objid) { FunctionFuncInt curFunc; curFunc = (FunctionFuncInt)GetProcAddress(libInstance, "?xenoMakeRigidBodyStaticBox@@YAXH@Z"); curFunc(objid); } void xMakeRigidBodyDynamicBox(int objid) { FunctionFuncInt curFunc; curFunc = (FunctionFuncInt)GetProcAddress(libInstance, "?xenoMakeRigidBodyDynamicBox@@YAXH@Z"); curFunc(objid); } void xSetRigidBodyPosition(int objid, float x, float y, float z) { FunctionIntFloatFloatFloat curFunc; curFunc = (FunctionIntFloatFloatFloat)GetProcAddress(libInstance, "?xenoSetRigidBodyPosition@@YAXHMMM@Z"); curFunc(objid, x, y, z); } void xSetGravity(float grav) { FunctionFuncFloat curFunc; curFunc = (FunctionFuncFloat)GetProcAddress(libInstance, "?xenoSetGravity@@YAXM@Z"); curFunc(grav); } }; extern XENOWRAPPERWIN32_API int nxenowrapperwin32; XENOWRAPPERWIN32_API int fnxenowrapperwin32(void); and here is how I use it in C#.Net class xeno { [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?LoadLib@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXXZ")] public static extern void xLoadLib(); public void LoadLib() { xLoadLib(); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?UnloadLib@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXXZ")] public static extern void xUnloadLib(); public void UnloadLib() { xUnloadLib(); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?xStart@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXXZ")] public static extern void xStart(); public void Start() { xStart(); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?xUpdate@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXXZ")] public static extern void xUpdate(); public void Update() { xUpdate(); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?xEnd@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXXZ")] public static extern void xEnd(); public void End() { xEnd(); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?xMakeRigidBodyDynamicBox@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXH@Z")] public static extern void xMakeRigidBodyDynamicBox(int objid); public void MakeRigidBodyDynamicBox(int id) { xMakeRigidBodyDynamicBox(id); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?xMakeRigidBodyStaticBox@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXH@Z")] public static extern void xMakeRigidBodyStaticBox(int objid); public void MakeRigidBodyStaticBox(int id) { xMakeRigidBodyStaticBox(id); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?xSetGravity@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXM@Z")] public static extern void xSetGravity(float grav); public void SetGravity(float g) { xSetGravity(g); } [DllImport("C:\\Users\\hayer\\Documents\\Visual Studio 2008\\Projects\\xeno wrapper win32\\Debug\\xeno wrapper win32.dll", EntryPoint = "?xSetRigidBodyPosition@Cxenowrapperwin32@@QAEXHMMM@Z")] public static extern void xSetRigidBodyPosition(int obj, float x, float y, float z); public void SetRigidBodyPosition(int id, float q, float w, float e) { xSetRigidBodyPosition(id, q, w, e); } } And in the main C#.Net program I do xeno tx = new xeno(); tx.Start(); tx.SetGravity(-1); tx.MakeRigidBodyStaticBox(ground.Id); tx.MakeRigidBodyDynamicBox(cube.Id); tx.SetRigidBodyPosition(cube.Id, 0, 50, 0);

  • jqGrid Export to CSV Missing Column Names

    - by user561557
    I have a jqGrid that works perfectly. It contains a pager button to export the grid to a csv file which works and exports the data. However, I also need to have the column names exported with the data and I can't seem to get that to work. My working code follows. jQuery("#detail").jqGrid('navGrid','#pager2', {height:520,width:500,savekey:[true,13],navkeys:[true,38,40],reloadAfterSubmit:false, jqModal:false, closeOnEscape:true, bottominfo:"Fields marked with () are required"}, // edit options {height:520, width:500,savekey:[true,13],reloadAfterSubmit:false,jqModal:false, closeOnEscape:true,bottominfo:"Fields marked with () are required", closeAfterAdd: true}, // add options {reloadAfterSubmit:false,jqModal:false, closeOnEscape:true}, // del options {closeOnEscape:true}, // search options {height:250,width:500,jqModal:false,closeOnEscape:true}, {view:true} // view options ); // add custom button to export the data to excel jQuery("#detail").jqGrid('navButtonAdd','#pager2',{ caption:"", title:"Export to CSV", onClickButton : function () { exportExcel(); }, position:"last" }); // add custom button to print grid jQuery("#detail").jqGrid('navButtonAdd','#pager2',{ caption:"", title:"Print", buttonicon:"ui-icon-print", onClickButton : function () { jQuery('#detail_table').jqprint({ operaSupport: true }); return false; } }); function exportExcel() { var mya=new Array(); mya=jQuery("#detail").getDataIDs(); // Get All IDs var data=jQuery("#detail").getRowData(mya[0]); // Get First row to get the labels var colNames=new Array(); var ii=0; for (var i in data){colNames[ii++]=i;} // capture col names var html=""; for(i=0;i } html=html+"\\n"; // end of line at the end document.forms[0].method='POST'; document.forms[0].action='ajax/csvExport.php'; // send it to server which will open this contents in excel file document.forms[0].target='_blank'; document.forms[0].csvBuffer.value=html; document.forms[0].submit(); }

  • Working with XML...

    - by gsvirdi
    I'm planning to create a news item which uses xml as it's backend and the Display should be like: Date: 08/Mar/2010 Title | News News 4 | Some news News 3 | Some news News 2 | Some news News 1 | Some news Date: 07/Mar/2010 Title | News News 5 | Some news News 4 | Some news News 3 | Some news News 2 | Some news News 1 | Some news Display should be sorted on Date (descending) Then news items should be sorted on time (descending) Today's news item should be on top, then titles should be sorted-decending (timewise), later will come previous day's news items. I'm not able to come up with the logic of xml which should be used in this case. moreover I'm not able to figure out how should I check "Today's date" in xml's "if" statement. ---- Previous Question ------------------------------------------------------------------ How can I export a data from textBox1, textBox2 & textBox3 on my winform (visual studio C#) so that it can automatically create an xml file with proper placing of these data???? Let's say: textBox1 = Name: textBox2 = Age: textBox3 = Roll No It would be great if the exported xml can be appended (add the new data in the EOF) if we export the data again. Any idea plz.....

  • SSRS 2005 Set SimplePageHeaders on the report instead of the server?

    - by Adam
    I have one report that does not export to excel friendly from SSRS 2005. I know I can use <Render> <Extension Name="EXCEL" Type="Microsoft.ReportingServices.Rendering.ExcelRenderer.ExcelRenderer,Microsoft.ReportingServices.ExcelRendering"> <Configuration> <DeviceInfo> <SimplePageHeaders>True</SimplePageHeaders> </DeviceInfo> </Configuration> </Extension> </Render> in the rsreportserver.config, but I am not the only person with reports on this machine. I also found that you can pass &rc:SimplePageHeaders=True in the url to export the report programatically. I tried adding the &rc:SimplePageHeaders=True to the end of the url when navigating to the report manager, but when I select excel from the dropdown and click export the headers are still exported. I even tried setting the rc:Command=Render and rc:Format=EXCEL in the url too without any luck. Is there a way to do what I am trying to do? note: I am wanting to render the report on the built in report manager and use the build in export to excel dropdown, not in an app or website.

  • "Parameter type conflict" when calling Java Stored Procedure within another Java Stored Procedure

    - by GuiPereira
    Here's the problem (sorry for the bad english): i'm working with JDeveloper and Oracle10g, and i have a Java Stored Procedure that is calling another JSP like the code: int sd = 0; try { CallableStatement clstAddRel = conn.prepareCall(" {call FC_RJS_INCLUIR_RELACAO_PRODCAT(?,?)} "); clstAddRel.registerOutParameter(1, Types.INTEGER); clstAddRel.setString(1, Integer.toString(id_produto_interno)); clstAddRel.setString(2, ac[i].toString()); clstAddRel.execute(); sd = clstAddRel.getInt(1); } catch(SQLException e) { String sqlTeste3 = "insert into ateste values (SQ_ATESTE.nextval, ?)"; PreparedStatement pstTeste3 = conn.prepareStatement(sqlTeste3); pstTeste3.setString(1,"erro: "+e.getMessage()+ ac[i]); pstTeste3.execute(); pstTeste3.close(); } I'm recording the error in a table called ATESTE because this JavaSP is a procedure and not a function, I've to manipulate DML inside. So, the error message I'm getting is: 'parameter type conflict'... the function "FC_RJS_INCLUIR_RELACAO_PRODCAT" it's a Java Stored Procedure too, it's already exported to Oracle, and returns an int variable, and i have to read this to decide which webservice i will call from this JavaSP. I have already tried the OracleTyep.NUMBER in the registerOutParameter. Anyone knows what i'm doing wrong?

  • Problem Rendering SIFR with revision 436 on IE6 and IE7

    - by Mark
    Hi, I seem to have a problem with SIFR3. I'm using version 436 and from all my testing it appears to be a problem associated with IE6 and IE7 as I cannot replicate the issue in Firefox, Chrome, Safari for Windows, or even IE8. The problem is occurring on my company's website and can be seen here: http://www.wyldeia.co.uk/blog.php When you first go to the page in IE6 or IE7 it appears to render fine. However if you click away onto another page and then click the back button in the browser, all of the text is replaced by an error saying "Rendered with sIFR3 revision 436". If you refresh the page, then the problem goes away, that is until you browse away and come back again. I've tried this on two separate machines both running IE7.0.6000.16809, and a further separate machine running IE6 which I then upgraded to IE8. I thought initially it might be Flash player related but on upgrading from version 9 to 10 of the flash player the problem remains. Further digging around indicated that the error can be caused by having a corrupted flash font file, or having one present that was generated with a previous revision of SIFR3. However I have exported the flash font file using the supplied fla with revision 436 but the problem remains. Usually I like to track the answer down myself but as it is I'm at a bit of a loss on this one so if anyone has any ideas what might be happening here then I would be very grateful! Regards, Mark

  • Exporting from SSRS 2008 ReportViewer to Excel Causes Duplicate Columns

    - by Daniel Coffman
    I have a report that groups months by quarters, so each quarter has three months and the display of the months under the quarter is toggled by the quarter header. It looks just fine in the ReportViewer, but when exporting to Excel the first month in the quarter with data is duplicated and appended to the end of the quarter group. Here is what it looks like in the ReportViewer (with Quarters 2 and 4 expanded, note May and June do not have any data and show blank columns by design): http://i.imgur.com/MykZE.png This is how it looks when exported to Excel: http://i.imgur.com/zfLuk.png The collapsed Quarter should only show the LAST month in the quarter. You can see that in the Excel export July is inserted in Q1 even though it should be hidden entirely since that quarter is collapsed, December is appended to Q2, January is inserted into Q3, and April is duplicated and appended to Q4. Exporting the any format OTHER than Excel works correctly and does not insert these columns. A similar bug for rows was filed and marked as "by design": http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/508823/reporting-services-2008-group-by-export-to-excel-duplicate-rows-csv-ok-pdf-ok How do I stop the export to Excel feature from inserting these duplicate columns?

  • Arrrg! MovieClip object refuses to moved in any rational way in as3?

    - by Aaron H.
    I have a MovieClip object, which is exported for actionscript (AS3) in an .swc file. When I place an instance of the clip on the stage without any modifications, it appears in the upper left corner, about half off stage (i.e. only the lower right quadrant of the object is visible). I understand that this is because the clip has a registration point which is not the upper left corner. If you call getBounds() on the movieclip you can get the bounds of the clip (presumably from the "point" that it's aligned on) which looks something like (left: -303, top: -100, right: 303, bottom: 100), you can subtract the left and top values from the clip x and y: clip.x -= bounds.left; clip.y -= bounds.top; This seems to properly align the clip fully on stage with the top left of the clip squarely in the corner of the stage. But! Following that logic doesn't seem to work when aligning it on the center of the stage! clip.x = (stage.stageWidth / 2); etc... This creates the crazy parallel universe where the clip is now down in the lower right corner of the stage. The only clue I have is that looking at: clip.transform.matrix and clip.transform.concatenatedMatrix matrix has a tx value of 748 (half of stage height) ty value of 426 (Half of stage height) concatenatedMatrix has a tx value of 1699.5 and ty value of 967.75 That's also obviously where the movieclip is getting positioned, but why? Where is this additional translation coming from?

  • java Processbuilder - exec a file which is not in path on OS X

    - by Jakob
    Okay i'm trying to make ChucK available in exported Processing sketches, i.e. if i export an app from Processing, the ChucK VM binary will be executed from inside the app. So as a user of said app you don't need to worry about ChucK being in your path at all. Right now i'm generating and executing a bash script file, but this way i don't get any console output from ChucK back into Processing: #!/bin/bash cd "[to where the Chuck executable is located]" ./chuck --kill killall chuck # just to make sure ./chuck chuckScript1.ck cuckScriptn.ck then Process p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec("chmod 777 "+scriptPath); p = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(scriptPath); This works but i want to run ChucK directly from Processing instead, but can't get it to execute: String chuckPath = "[folder in which the chuck executable is located]" ProcessBuilder builder = new ProcessBuilder (chuckPath+"/chuck", "test.ck"); final Process process = builder.start(); InputStream is = process.getInputStream(); InputStreamReader isr = new InputStreamReader(is); BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(isr); String line; while((line = br.readLine()) != null) println(line); println("done chuckin'! exitValue: " + process.exitValue()); Sorry if this is newbie style :D

  • RSA C# Encrypt Java Decrypt

    Hi guys, In my program (server side - Java) I've created keystore file, with command: keytool -genkey -alias myalias -keyalg RSA -validity 10000 -keystore my.keystore and exported related X509 certificate with: keytool -export -alias myalias -file cert.cer -keystore my.keystore After I saved cert.cer on client side (C#) and I write this code: X509Certificate2 x509 = new X509Certificate2(); byte[] rawData = ReadFile("mycert.cer"); x509.Import(rawData); RSACryptoServiceProvider rsa = (RSACryptoServiceProvider)x509.PublicKey.Key; byte[] plainbytes = System.Text.Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes("My Secret"); byte[] cipherbytes = rsa.Encrypt(plainbytes, true); String cipherHex = convertToHex(cipherContent); byte[] byteArray = encoding.GetBytes(cipherHex); .... I write this Java code on server side: keyStore = KeyStore.getInstance(KeyStore.getDefaultType()); keyStore.load(new FileInputStream("C:\\my.keystore"), "mypass".toCharArray()); Key key = keyStore.getKey("myalias", "mypass".toCharArray()); if (key instanceof PrivateKey) { Certificate cert = keyStore.getCertificate("myalias"); PublicKey pubKey = cert.getPublicKey(); privKey = (PrivateKey)key; } byte[] toDecodeBytes = new BigInteger(encodeMessageHex, 16).toByteArray(); Cipher decCipher = Cipher.getInstance("RSA"); decCipher.init(Cipher.DECRYPT_MODE, privKey); byte[] decodeMessageBytes = decCipher.doFinal(toDecodeBytes); String decodeMessageString = new String(decodeMessageBytes); I receive this error: javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Data must start with zero Can you help me, please? • How to create X509 self signed certificate for use in Apache Tomcat

    - by DaveJohnston
    I have a Java application that runs on Windows Mobile devices using a 3rd Party JVM. The application communicates with an Apache Tomcat server over HTTP. We have also used HTTPS for some connections and the certificates were created using the Sun keytool utility. First a keystore was created using genkey, then the certificate exported using export and finally that was imported into another keystore using import. The file created by genkey was loaded into the Apache server and the keystore created using import was loaded into the JVM on the PDA. Everything works as expected. I am now working with a new JVM on the PDA and (for whatever reason) I have established that this JVM requires the keystore to be in X509 (DER) format. I started working on this about a month ago and had it working, but stupidly never wrote down the steps I took, and now I can't for the life of me remember what I did. I seem to remember using openssl but other than that I am totally lost. Anything I create now using openssl and try to load into Apache causes an error at startup (Invalid Keystore Format) so I am probably missing something out entirely. Does anyone have any ideas how I should be going about creating this self-signed X509 certificate that can be loaded into Apache server and JVM running on a PDA?
