  • Making next and previous button in html [on hold]

    I am new to html and javascript. My problem is that I have a list of items. An example of the list of item is : request0 request1 request2 request3 request4 Now I need to make next and previous buttons to navigate through this list. For example; If I am currently at request1 and hit the next button request2 should shown. If I hit the previous button it should show resquest0. This is my very first project in html and javascript.   • Firefox: middle mouse button stopped working

    In Firefox, middle mouse button/wheel has been assigned "Open link in new tab" action for a while now, by default. Since I ran Software Update tonight, this action doesn't work in Firefox anymore. To be specific, middle mouse click doesn't open links anymore. At the same time, it closes tabs just fine (middle-click a tab == 'Close tab'). I don't know the update details, but I remember that Firefox update was there among other things. I tried running Firefox with a clean profile and middle button did work there, so something must've changed with existing settings.

  • How to change keyboard sleep button to hibernate?

    I have a keyboard with a "sleep" button that does indeed make my computer go to sleep. The problem is that Ubuntu can't really handle sleep on my computer, causing it go into a non-responsive mode, having the CPU fan spinning at full speed and it stops receiving any input. Hibernation instead works mainly as it should. I would like to set the sleep key to hibernate, but the keyboard settings' hotkeys tab doesn't have this "sleep" keybinding and though I could make new one with hibernate --force as the command, it would require root rights to run. How can I change the keyboard sleep button action to hibernate?

    I'm currently working with phpmyedit and I need to access to the 'Add' (new record) function using a URL. As this script (phpmyedit) is dinamically generated, when I press the 'Add' button, I get the form to fill but the URL has no changes. How can I create some custom URL for the ADD button, that allows me to access externally and also pass parameters through the URL?   • Cancelling Window 7 shutdown diables power button

    Normally, pressing the power button once initiates a shut-down in Windows 7. If any programs are still running that will not quit (e.g. waiting for a dialogue response), Windows overlays the screen with a dialogue allowing the user to cancel the shut-down. I've just noticed that on two different systems here, using this cancel option disables the shut-down via power button. The power button can still be used to kill the system by holding it for a few seconds, using the Start menu button to shut the PC down still works as well. Steps to reproduce: Open Notepad, type a few characters. Do not save. Press the computer's power button. Wait until the dark screen appears. Press cancel. Press the power button again. Notice how nothing happens. What is the reason for this behaviour, and can it be disabled to always try and shut down the PC when the power button is pressed?

    I'm trying to build a calculator layout using TableLayout, but the last two rows aren't aligning with the rest of the layout. Is there something wrong with my layout XML? What I'm trying to do would be easier to accomplish in HTML (<td> with colspan or rowspan), so should I try converting this into a WebView?   • Synergy 1.4.2 Linux server, OSX client, Media/Function key mapping issues

    I'm using an Apple bluetooth keybord to control my Linux synergy server. SSH tunneling, Mouse, Keyboard, and Copy&Paste all work. Linux sees all the media/app keys that are on top of the F# keys correctly. However if I press any of those keys while controlling my OSX client, nothing happens on the client. I have a button inside customized table view cell and i have set different images for button's different states. Please look into the code below. [btnNow setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"now_norm.png"] forState:UIControlStateNormal]; [btnNow setImage:[UIImage imageNamed:@"now_focus.png"] forState:UIControlStateHighlighted]; Whenever i tap on the actual button this works great but if i tap on area outside of button but which is still inside that same cell then this button changes its background image from UIControlStateNormal to UIControlStateHighlighted.     Hi I am trying to place an owner-draw button transparently onto a background. I have no trouble doing this when the background is a solid colour but if the background is an image I cannot seem to get the correct HDC (handle to device context) to Bitblt() the area that button covers. The HDC that is passed as part of the DRAWITEMSTRUCT gives me a button-default-grey area. If I attempt to get the parent of the HWND and then the device context of that i.e pdc = GetDC(GetParent(hWnd)); then the background that gets BitBlt'd is the background of the last painted window.   • Multiple jQuery UI buttons with same ID

    There might be a really simple solution to this question, but i just don't see it! I have a page with a list of items. every item has the same jquery ui button (its inside a dialog and adds that item to a list). i identify the item via the parenting DIV holding the DB id. So far so good... The Problem is only the first button on the list works! The second, third etc. buttons don't show any reaction at all. The buttons all have the same id - as the list is dynamic and the same action is triggered with every click. Only the parenting ID changes.
