    I'm dynamically adding a Boolean column to a DataSet. The DataSet's table is the DataSource for a GridView, which AutoGenerates the columns. Issue: The checkboxes for this dynamically generated column are all disabled. How can I enable them? ds.Tables["Transactions"].Columns.Add("Retry", typeof(System.Boolean)); ds.Tables["Transactions"].Columns["Retry"].ReadOnly = false; In other words, how can I control how GridView generates the CheckBoxes for a Boolean field? (And why does setting ReadOnly to False have no effect?) Thanks!

Now I want a static IoC container that can be shared across these layers. I want to make my View testable and to do that I’ll have to inject the various dependencies in various layers and mock out those dependencies as well. Now issue I am facing is where to declare and load ninject modules. i also realised in Silverlight version of Ninject there is no version of Load which take string arugment, which can be used to load the modules dynamically Load("*.dll").     I have the following code in a page on which I am using fullCalendar. I am able to add events in my page, however the calendar does not display this dynamically. I have to move to another month (and then back to the current month), before the dates I added are displayed. Is there a way to dynamically refresh/render the calendar as dates are programatically added to it?   • Dynamically register constructor methods in an AbstractFactory at compile time using C++ templates

    When implementing a MessageFactory class to instatiate Message objects I used something like: class MessageFactory { public: static Message *create(int type) { switch(type) { case PING_MSG: return new PingMessage(); case PONG_MSG: return new PongMessage(); .... } } This works ok but every time I add a new message I have to add a new XXX_MSG and modify the switch statement. After some research I found a way to dynamically update the MessageFactory at compile time so I can add as many messages as I want without need to modify the MessageFactory itself. This works great and simplifies code maintenance but I still have some questions about this technique: Is this a known technique/pattern? what is the name? I want to search more info about it. I want to make the array for storing new constructors MessageFactory::m_List[65536] a std::map but doing so causes the program to segfault even before reaching main(). Creating an array of 65536 elements is overkill but I have not found a way to make this a dynamic container. For all message classes that are subclasses of MessageTmpl I have to implement the constructor. If not it won't register in the MessageFactory. For example commenting the constructor of the PongMessage: class PongMessage: public MessageTmpl < 11, PongMessage > { public: //PongMessage() {} /* HERE */ virtual void say() { printf("Pong\n"); } }; would result in the PongMessage class not being registered by the MessageFactory and the program would segfault in the MessageFactory::Create(11) line. The question is why the class won't register? Having to add the empty implementation of the 100+ messages I need feels inefficient and unnecessary.

  • C# GridView dynamically built columns with textboxes ontextchanged

    My page is a bulk order form that has many products and various size options. I've got a gridview that has a 3 static columns with labels. There are then some dynamically built columns. Each of the dynamically built columns have a textbox in them. The textbox is for quantity. Trying to either update the server with the quantity entered each time a textbox is changed (possibly ontextchanged event) or loop though each of the rows column by column and gather all the items that have a quantity and process those items and their quantities all at once (via button onclick). If I put the process that builds the GridView behind a if(!Page.IsPostBack) then the when a textchanged event fires the gridview only gets the static fields and the dynamic ones are gone. If I remove the if(!Page.IsPostBack) the process to gather and build the page is too heavy on processing and takes too long to render the page again. Some advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I need to load the control dynamically actually as a modal pop up I get this code VendorProductSearch uc = Page.LoadControl("~/Controls/Proposal/VendorProductSearch.ascx") as VendorProductSearch; uc.ShowVendorProductSearch(true); _tempPlaceHolder.Controls.Add(uc); it works fine the control gets loaded properly but onclick of any button the second time the control disappears ???     Friends, I am willing to follow the rules of the W3C where it is recommended that javascript and CSS files should be in individual files and not within the page. Good, following this rule, and not wanting to overload the master page, I would like to embed the dependencies dynamically. So how could I insert the libraries dynamically? I think the bigger problem is the Ajax requests. Example: <script type="text/javascript" src="http://sstatic.net/so/js/master.js?v=6523"></script> I tried using the JavascriptResult, but he writes the content on the page, and do not run as "Stream." My Requirement : At runtime , I get a string which contains a className ( could be A or B). I want to dynamically create an object of this class along with invoking the constructor. How can I achieve this . I don't want to use interfaces for common functionality of above classes Morever, later on I set the properties of this raw object using Propery Builder Bean Util class based on a list of columns . Class clazz = Class.forName("className"); Obj obj = clazz.newInstance(); How I can dynamically convert that obj to className object.

    Hello, I have added an View List onto a Panel like that: panelComponent.Controls.Add(viewListComponent); Everthing works just fine. Mouse Events are handled, Repaint works. But one: I cant dynamically move it around. If i change the control.Top Variablen it just sit there and nothing. Its clued to the top left corner. Resizing the right and bottom line works just fine! I did it without dynamically adding and than no Problem. Hope you can help. Thomas

    Hi all. I have been successful in dynamically loading an album in SSP before, but using SSP Standalone. I did it like this: var flashvars = { xmlFilePath: "http://site.com/ssp_director/images.php?album=5" } What I'm looking to do now, though, is dynamically load a gallery when the page loads, using text entered in the javascript, or flashvars I'd assume. I'm using ActionScript 3 with this, so I'm not sure if I have to do something to the SSP instance in Flash. I'm not very good with AS3, so following advice or tutorials is about all I can muster. I'm also using SSP Director, so my gallery XML URLs would be similar to above in the example code. I'd be elated if this is possible, otherwise I will have to find an alternative solution. The square has to be a colour (specified dynamically) and contains a number as text inside it. [Label] Star rating: [hidden_field :ad_id] [hidden_field :ad_option_id] [text_field :value] [Label] Breakfast included? [hidden_field :ad_id] [hidden_field :ad_option_id] [text_field :value] And also, how to save the values when the ad record is saved I hope this is understandable. I want that added row to be the same state (Alternate or Normal) of the currently bounded row is this possible? I'm doing something like this but it doesn't follow what I want.     I am trying to get an dynamically created element using a jQuery selector but it is returning an empty array. The first thing I am doing is grabbing an empty div: var packDiv = document.getElementById('templates'); packDiv.innerHTML = ""; then adding items to it in a loop: packDiv.innerHTML = packDiv.innerHTML + "<img id='" + thumbName + "' src='thumbs/" + thumbName + "'/>"; after the loop finishes I try to select an item using: console.log($("#"+thumbName)); and it returns the empty array. All the things I search on show to use .on but all the examples show that is to set event handlers. My question is how do I format a selector for dynamically created elements?
