  Hello, I have a YUI datatable and I have a function which is invoked when I click on a row: ... YAHOO.keycoes.myDatatable = myDatatable; ... myDatatable.subscribe("rowClickEvent", oneventclickrow); var oneventclickrow = function( args ) { ... } I'd like to invoke the function subscribed to rowClickEvent on the row which is currently highlighted in the datatable (the row which was clicked for the last time). I've tried to do something like this: YAHOO.keycoes.myDatatable.getSelectedRows()[0].rowClickEvent() but getSelectedRows() doesn't return any row. How can I get the highlighted row in the datatable and then call the function associated with rowClickEvent? Thanks

  Is there a simple solution for duplicating table rows in SQL Server as well as all table rows with foreign keys pointing to the cloned table row? I've got a "master" table and a bunch of "child" tables which have a foreign key into the ID of the master table. I need to not only create a perfect copy of the master table, but clone each and every child table referencing the master table. Is there a simpler way to do this than creating a new row in the master table, copying in the information from the row to be cloned, then going through each child table and doing the same with each row pointing to the cloned row in the master table? I'm using a SQL Server 2005 Database accessed through C# ASP.net MVC 1.0.

  Hi I am trying to delete a row using the DataTables plugin. First I don't get the example at all. What I have this is a user checks the row they want to delete. I do this then var row = $('#id :checked').parents('tr'); So I get the row of the checked checkbox. Lets assume they only check one box( if multiple where choose it might be different - might need a jquery each loop).   What if one wants to apply a functon i.e. to each row of a matrix, but also wants to use as an argument for this function the number of that row. As an example, suppose you wanted to get the n-th root of the numbers in each row of a matrix, where n is the row number.   How do I reliably get the size of a C-style array? The method often recommended seems to be to use sizeof, but it doesn't work in the foo function, where x is passed in: #include <iostream> void foo(int x[]) { std::cerr << (sizeof(x) / sizeof(int)); // 2 } int main(){ int x[] = {1,2,3,4,5}; std::cerr << (sizeof(x) / sizeof(int)); // 5 foo(x); return 0; } Answers to this question recommend sizeof but they don't say that it (apparently?) doesn't work if you pass the array around. So, do I have to use a sentinel instead? (I don't think the users of my foo function can always be trusted to put a sentinel at the end. Of course, I could use std::vector, but then I don't get the nice shorthand syntax {1,2,3,4,5}.)

I want to select a row in TableB based on AValue using a join. The following query is what I have and only grabs a value from TableB based on AId, I just don't know how to grab a row from TableB using AValue. • Reversing an lvreduce of LVM to original size

  On a RHEL system that uses LVM 2 with 4K blocks. Have been successful in reducing the LV, but trying to get steps to reverse the operation so that the LV returns to its original size. Using these steps to reduce the LV by 1GB, # umount /foo # e2fsk -f /dev/mylvm/foo # resize2fs /dev/mylvm/foo <Current LV Block count - 1GB/4K> # lvreduce --size <Current # GB - 1GB> /dev/mylvm/foo Then to reverse the reduction # lvextend --size <Original #GB> /dev/mylvm/foo # resize2fs /dev/mylvm/foo The reversal gets close to the orignal size. A 'df -h' reports that it seems to be about ~ 0.1GB shy of the original size. Using these utilities, is there a better procedure to shrink and grow the LV so that the original state can be recovered effectively?

• logrotate by size outside the daily schedule

  We have a couple of applications that generate huge log files. It's not enough to rotate those logs daily, so I created the following logrotate conf: /var/log/ourapp/*log { compress copytruncate missingok size 200M rotate 10 } The idea is that we can keep 2GB of logs for this one application, no matter how quickly those files are filling up. The problem, though, is that logrotate only runs once daily. AFAIK, when logrotate kicks off at 4am, it will check to see that the size is at least 200M and rotate it if so. Ideally logrotate would run every minute, check the size, and rotate if the size is greater. Is there a standard way for rotating based on size outside of the daily cron schedule?

• stat and ls show wrong file size (terabytes wrong)

  Ok, I have a bunch of vCard files, all about 200 to 300 Bytes in size. While trying to get them archived, I wondered why that takes so long and discovered that there is one file with a wrong size. Both ls and stat are showing a size of about 8.1 Terabytes. That's amazing because my SSD is only about 250 Gigabytes in size. There are some other files with wrong sizes, too, but this is clearly the biggest one. I already gave it a fsck, but there seem to be no errors in the (ext4) filesystem. • Mozilla nonsense. Page changes size by itself

  I have never intentionally changed the size of font on latest mozilla browser install on windows machine. For example Google site is now 200% size, and I did nothing to make this happen. Whats worse is it does not change back but remembers this! Similarly other sites are too small and they remember this per site. What is going on here? I mean what nonsense! How can I undo this? And for extra points who came up with this absurd behavior at mozilla? Not making this up folks. 15.0.1 Not at all clear why it changes size or how to go back to default size for these sites Acutally it just happened again while editing this entry. Icon changes and than font size is too small.

• Strange UIKit bug, table view row stays selected

  I'm facing what appears to be a UIKit bug, and it takes the combination of two less commonly used features to reproduce it, so please bear with me here. I have quite the common view hierarchy: UITabBarController -> UINavigationController -> UITableViewController and the table view controller pushes another table view controller onto the navigation controller's stack when a row is selected. There's absolutely nothing special or fancy in the code here. However, the second UITableViewController, the "detail view controller" if you will, does two things: It sets hidesBottomBarWhenPushed to YES in its init method, so the tab bar is hidden when this controller is pushed: - (id)initWithStyle:(UITableViewStyle)style { if(self = [super initWithStyle:style]) { self.hidesBottomBarWhenPushed = YES; } return self; } It calls setToolbarHidden:NO animated:YES and setToolbarHidden:YES animated:YES on self.navigationController in viewWillAppear: and viewWillDisappear: respectively, causing the UIToolbar provided by UINavigationController to be displayed and hidden with animations: - (void)viewWillAppear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillAppear:animated]; [self.navigationController setToolbarHidden:NO animated:YES]; } - (void)viewWillDisappear:(BOOL)animated { [super viewWillDisappear:animated]; [self.navigationController setToolbarHidden:YES animated:YES]; } Now, if the second UITableViewController was pushed by selecting the row at the bottom of the screen (it doesn't have to be the last row) in the first controller, this row does not automatically get deselected when the user immediately or eventually returns to the first controller. Further, the row cannot be deselected by calling deselectRowAtIndexPath:animated: on self.tableView in viewWillAppear: or viewDidAppear: in the first controller. I'm guessing this is a bug in UITableViewController's drawing code which of course only draws visible rows, but unfortunately fails to determine correctly if the bottommost row will be visible in this case. I failed to find anything on this on Google or OpenRadar, and was wondering if anyone else on SO had this problem or knew a solution/workaround.

  I have a little personal webapp that I'm working on. I have a link that, when clicked, is supposed to make an ajax call to a php that is supposed to delete that info from a database. For some unknown reason, it won't actually delete the row from the database. I've tried everything I know, but still nothing. I'm sure it's something incredibly easy... Here are the scripts involved. • CSS3 transition on table row using height property

  I have an HTML table displaying some information with a few rows. On each row, the user can click to reveal some additional rows that contains information related to the clicked row. Something like this: While the additional rows are being created with an AJAX request, a loading row is inserted right after the clicked row : Currently, everything works perfectly (drill down style), but I would like to add some animation to the loading row. I found a question ( this one ) that has a JSFiddle showing kind of what I want ( this fiddle ). I tried to implement something similar with CSS3 transitions, but I can't get it to work. Here's my simulated attempt ( fiddle only for deployment of the loading row ) using these transitions : -webkit-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; -ms-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; -o-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; Any thought on why my fiddle doesn't do any animation? Any other methods you would propose? Thanks!

• Selecting row in SSMS causes Entity Framework 4 to Fail

  I have a simple Entity Framework 4 unit test that creates a new record, saves it, attempts to find it, then deletes it. All works great, unless... ... I open up SQL Server Management Studio while stopped at a breakpoint in the unit test and execute a SELECT statement that returns the row I just created (not SELECT FOR UPDATE, not WITH (updlock), no transaction, just a plain SELECT). If I do that before attempting to find the row I just created, I don't find the row. If I instead do that after finding the row but before deleting the row, I do find the row but get an OptimisticConcurrencyException. This is consistently repeatable. • Is there anyway to show a hidden div in the last row of a html table

  i have an html table. here is a simplified version: <table> <tr> <td><div style="display: none;" class="remove0">Remove Me</div></td> </tr> <tr> <td><div style="display: none;" class="remove1">Remove Me</div></td> </tr> <tr> <td><div class="remove2">Remove Me</div></td> </tr> </table> i have javascript that clicks on Remove Me in the last row and it deletes the html row using: $(this).parents("tr:first").remove(); the issue is that when i remove this last row, i also want the "Remove Me" text to now show up on the second row (which is now the new last row). how would i show this div so that it would dynamically show the "remove me" from the new last row?
