    I have pretty much zero experience setting up servers, but currently my job is to set one up (don't ask why). It's an an apache-tomcat6 server. I followed some instructions step by step, and when it came time to test that everything was working, here's what I got: I know this is a bit of a shot in the dark, but does anyone know what I can do to fix this?     This might sound stupid but whenever I run my app in Eclipse I get this annoying pop up asking me how to run it: Android app, JUnit, Eclipse app, etc' I'm always running this project as an Android app, is there any way to tell Eclipse to stop asking me this.   • Python: Split, strip, and join in one line

    I'm curious if their is some python magic I may not know to accomplish a bit of frivolity given the line: csvData.append(','.join([line.split(":").strip() for x in L])) I'm attempting to split a line on :, trim whitespace around it, and join on , problem is, since the array is returned from line.split(":"), the for x in L #<== L doesn't exist! causes issues since I have no name for the array returned by line.split(":") So I'm curious if there is a sexy piece of syntax I could use to accomplish this in one shot?   • jQuery treat hover on two elements as one elements

    I have an image map which I have overlaid with some markers in the form of anchors. I currently have a hover trigger on each image map area and the associated anchor - as shown in screen shot I need to treat these two elements as one, as currently when mouse is moved out of one onto the other it calls .hover() and callback again. I want to call hover callback only when mouse is moved out of either elements.

  • vim regex for replacing spaces within quotes

    I have text in the follwing format: ERR_OUT_OF_MEM, "ERR OUT OF MEM" ERR_SOMETHING_BAD, "ERR SOMETHING BAD" I want to replace all spaces in the text which are within quotes with underscores: ERR_OUT_OF_MEM, "ERR_OUT_OF_MEM" ERR_SOMETHING_BAD, "ERR_SOMETHING_BAD" The best regex I could come up with is: \("\w\+\)\@<= (there's a space at the end of that) but this only finds the first space in each quoted string, and I would need to repeat this multiple times to get the desired effect. Any way to do it in one shot? Thanks!

  • Passwordless SSH using cgi-perl script

    Hello, This is my first shot at trying out cgi-perl scripts. I have SSH keys set up between my (root user) local machine and a remote machine. I'm trying to run a command on the remote box and display the output on a webpage hosted from my local machine. The script runs fine from command line however, it throws SSH key error when called from the webpage because the user running the script is apache and not root. Is there a way to get around this issue?

    Hey, This one has me stumped. Is it possible at all to change the background color of a UIButton in Cocoa for iphone. I've tried setting the background color but it only changes the corners. SetBackgroundColor seems to be the only method available for such things. Being a beginner myself, I do not understand: 1) What is the role of the rootviewcontroller? Searched the documentation but what I found did not answer this question. 2) I thought a IBOutlet should only link to one corresponding object. Why in this case the rootviewcontroller is linked to two?

    This is a real shot in the dark, however maybe someone had a similar issue. Some console apps are being invoked by either SQL Server 2008, or Autosys (job schedule) under Windows Server 2008; output results of execution are being saved into .txt files. Every so often, with no definite pattern as far as I can tell saved output is displayed as a series of what I presume are Chinese characters. Have anyone encountered phenomenon above?

    Hello, I have a for loop that loops over one array... for i=1:length(myArray) In this loop, I want to do check on the value of myArray and add it to another array myArray2 if it meets certain conditions. I looked through the Matlab docs, but couldn't find anything on creating arrays without declaring all their values on initialization or reading data into them in one shot. Many thanks!
