• Help me refactoring this nasty Ruby if/else statement

  Hello, so I have this big method in my application for newsletter distribution. Method is for updating rayons and i need to assigned user to rayon. I have relation n:n through table colporteur_in_rayons witch have attributes since_date and _until_date. • phonegap crossplatform redirection to local file

  Hi I'm developing a phonegap + JQueryMobile app, which should be correctly executed on Android, iOs and WindowsPhone as well. I need to exploit an external service wich requires one callback url to redirect the app to in case of success, and one in case of error (pretty common situation. In my case both will be local files, say www/success.html and www/error.html). Of course I could write different paths for each device (e.g. file:///android_asset/www/success.html on Android), but i'm wondering if the framework provide a more simple elegant solution. So the questions is, how can i get a unique absolute URL wich allows me to perform a cross-platform HTTP redirection from a remote web page to a local file within a phonegap application? Thanks

• Problem in getting response from webserver

  Hi guys I am sending data to webserver in the Querystrings by creating URL dynamically. When I view that URl in UIAlertView it shows me correct one. And when i try to get response using NSURL code, it does not respond. Below is the code. • JQuery response is null but actual response is not

  I'm using JQuery to make an Ajax call. I used a sniffer to catch the response text: {"error_code":0,"message":"SUCCESS","data":{"session_token":"3efd9dde-a839-4e91-9415-4c2f6cba5b7b"}} But the response returned on the success callback is null. Anyone got any ideas? (see jquery code below. • why does $.ajax(..) not work for me?

  I'm running jquery from a file. And I'm trying to load a svg file from my localhost to populate a svg canvas. However that does not work as expected. What I do from filesystem: $.ajax({ url: url , timeout: 1000, complete: function(xml) { alert('complete'); }, success: function(xml, status, xreq) { alert('success'); }, error: function() { alert('error'); } }); the url reads: http://localhost/image.svg, when I read this url directly from an addressbar from the browser, the pages remains white but the pagesource displays the source of image.svg. Debugging the $.ajax code above, reveals that the success: method is hit, but xml response remains empty. Any help is greatly appreciated. regards, jeroen.

But i want improve it with jQuery.   Hi, I have an IE problem. I am using the jquery ajax method to call a php script. The php script just calls die(). In firefox, the error message is displayed, but in IE the success message is displayed without any data. I would prefer the error function to be called. Is there any way to fix this? I'm guessing my javascript code needs change somehow. • Jquery mobile function calls before Ajax Request end

  Here is my problem. When My Home page shows, I call the LoadUser functions, which on success, sets the globalUser variable with the returned json, and after it loads I call the alert function but it says globalUser is undefined. I have tried many other work arounds, but I always get the undefined mesage.   I have a iframe inside test.aspx,when the user click on a pay button inside the Iframe,the iframe redirct to check.aspx that has same iframe if payment was success on first time, then window.parent.location.href==test.aspx if payment was failed the iframe redirect again to check.aspx,so now the window.parent.location.href==check.aspx while the payement was failed the the iframe keep redirect to check.aspx and the parent location keep changing ,so for example if the client failed 3 time,inside check.aspx I need to do window.parent.parent.parent.location.href to get test.aspx redirect. when the user payment was success ,then I want to redirect the test.aspx but I can't know how much child iframe window he has! • SQL SERVER – Weekend Project – Visiting Friend’s Company – Koenig Solutions

  I have decided to do some interesting experiments every weekend and share it next week as a weekend project on the blog. Many times our business lives and personal lives are very separate, however this post will talk about one instance where my two lives connect. This weekend I visited my friend’s company. My friend owns Koenig, so of course I am very interested so see that they are doing well.  I have been very impressed this year, as they have expanded into multiple cities and are offering more and more classes about Business Intelligence, Project Management, networking, and much more. Koenig Solutions originally were a company that focused on training IT professionals – from topics like databases and even English language courses.  As the company grew more popular, Koenig began their blog to keep fans updated, and gradually have added more and more courses. I am very happy for my friend’s success, but as a technology enthusiast I am also pleased with Koenig Solutions’ success.  Whenever anyone in our field improves, the field as a whole does better.  Koenig offers high quality classes on a variety of topics at a variety of levels, so anyone can benefit from browsing this blog. According to 400 senior executives who participated in a new survey conducted by the Economist Intelligence Unit and sponsored by Oracle, unrealistic project goals is the main reason for roadblocks to success Other common stumbling blocks are poor alignment between project and organizational goals, inadequate human resources, lack of strong leadership, and unwillingness among team members to point out problems. This survey sample also had a lot to say about the impact of regulatory compliance on the overall portfolio management process. Thirty-nine percent acknowledged that regulations enabled efficient functioning of their businesses. But a similar number said that regulations often require more financial resources than were originally allocated to bring projects in on time. Regulations were seen by 35 percent of the executives as roadblocks to their ability to invest in the organization’s growth and success. • FAQ: Reshipping a Sun Certification

  If you obtained a Sun Certification before September 1, 2010, your success kit was shipped to the mailing address on record in your profile at certmanager.net/sun. At this time, if you require a reshipment for any reason of your original Sun Certification Certificate (it got damaged in the mail, you did not receive it, it needs to be sent to a different address, etc...), you will now receive access to an electronic reproduction of your original Certificate called an eCertificate. The Sun Certification ID card is no longer available and cannot be ordered from Oracle. This is to allow us to streamline this reshipping process and allow candidates to receive these certificates as quickly as possible.Candidates who earned a Java, Oracle Solaris, MySQL, NetBeans or OpenOffice.org certification on or after September 1, 2010 will receive their success kits in the mail within 6-8 weeks of completing the final certification requirement.

  Hi! Sorry for my clumsy question. But I don't know where I am wrong at creating view matrix. I have the following code: createMatrix(vec4f(xAxis.x, xAxis.y, xAxis.z, dot(xAxis,eye)), vec4f( yAxis.x_, yAxis.y_, yAxis.z_, dot(yAxis,eye)), vec4f(-zAxis.x_, -zAxis.y_, -zAxis.z_, -dot(zAxis,eye)), vec4f(0, 0, 0, 1)); //column1, column2,... I have tried to transpose it, but with no success. I have also tried to use gluLookAt(...) with success. At the reference page, I watched the remarks about the to-be-created matrix, and it seems the same as mine. Where I am wrong?
