    My joomla site url is: http://www.cessnatrader.com. I am using SEF URL for this site. The SEF URL is not working in the main menu(in top). But it is working fine for other places(other links, footer menu). I don't know what the problem is. I did all the things for enabling SEF URL in joomla. But it is not working in one place(main menu). What should I do? Note: I am using "Mosets tree" component in this site.

  • Different ways of accessing configuration parameters from a JAX-WS service

    As far as I know I can access the web.xml <context-param>s by making my class implement ServletContextListener and use the ServletContext.getInitParam(String) to read them, but it´s cumbersome as only one instance of the class will receive the contextInitialized(ServletContextEvent sce) call, so I need to make the ServletContext an static member of the class. What other ways exist of setting conf params at deployment time and what are the recommended ones?

    Let us say I have a url of subdomain.domain.com. Is there a way in ASP.NET MVC to have a url of say otherdomain.com/gotothesubdomain that takes you to subdomain.domain.com? I know that a simple redirect could do it, but I want the url to stay as otherdomain.com/gotothesubdomain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks!

    I've encountered a problem with generating reverse url in templates in django. I'm trying to solve it since a few hours and I have no idea what the problem might be.   • Why can't I open a JBoss vfs:/ URL?

    We are upgrading our application from JBoss 4 to JBoss 6. A couple of pieces of our application get delivered to the client in an unusual way: jars are looked up inside of our application and sent to the client from a servlet, where the client extracts them in order to run certain support functions. In JBoss 4 we would look these jars up with the classloader and find a jar:// URL which would be used to read the jar and send its contents to the client. In JBoss 6 when we perform the lookup we get a vfs:/ URL. I understand that this is from the org.jboss.vfs package. Unfortunately when I call openStream() on this URL and read from the stream, I immediately get an EOF (read() returns -1). What gives? Why can't I read the resource this URL refers to? I've tried trying to access the underlying VFS packages to open the file through the JBoss VFS API, but most of the API appears to be private, and I couldn't find a routine to translate from a vfs:/ URL to a VFS VirtualFile object, so I couldn't get anywhere. I can try to find the file on disk within JBoss, but that approach sounds very failure prone on upgrade. Our old approach was to use Java Web Start to distribute the jars to the client and then look them up within Java Web Start's cache to extract them. But that broke on every minor upgrade of Java because the layout of the cache changed.

    From Google's recommendations for URL structure: Sorting parameters. Some large shopping sites provide multiple ways to sort the same items, resulting in a much greater number of URLs. For example: http://www.example.com/results?search_type=search_videos&search_query=tpb&search_sort=relevance&search_category=25" When linking from outside, then having URLs differing only by sort parameters is obviously a bad idea: Google will not understand that these links point to the same item, i.e. that the item is popular. Therefore ranking will be lower than it should. But what's the alternative? Using a fragment identifier (#), and then doing the sorting in JavaScript? What else? Some settings in Webmaster tools?

    I fount this answer, but wanted to expand on the question and couldn't find any solutions here on stack or through searching google. Substring domainname from URL SQL Basically the link above solves my problem with a simple URL like parsing "www.google.com" with the result of google. What I am looking for to expand on that is the solution from the link above doesn't help with url's like 'www.maps.google.com' that just returns maps. WHat I would like is to have it return 'google' from the url 'www.maps.google.com' or return 'example' from 'www.test.example.com'. If anyone has a solution to this, I would greatly appreciate it. Update: To be more specific I will also need parsing on second level domains etc. 'www.maps.google.com.au' to return 'google' Here is my Sql function.     I'm playing around with URL schemes in my app. I easily made one to open my app, just adding the necessary items to info.plist. This current URL "myappname://" takes the user to the initial view controller, FirstTableViewController, but I was wondering if it would be possible to modify that URL scheme so it I can have one that takes the user to a certain view controller, such as ThirdTableViewController. I would use this as a handy feature in something like Launch Center.

    I'm using the :!grep "tag1" filename | grep "tag2" filename | grep -n "tag3 or more" filename command in vim to search for my code snippets based on their tags (a simple comment at the top of a snippet) in one big file. I use snippets to remember tricky things. This is painful to write out each time. I'd like to make an alias, or function to do something like this: :!greptag tag1 tag2 ... tag39 And it should search the current doc and return the lines with all the tags on them. Vim is set to interactive shell mode so that it can parse my bashrc for aliases/functions. set shellcmdflag=-ic How can I construct a function that allows for variable arguments like this in bash?

    i have hosting accout in go daddy its a delux plan so i can assign more than one url right now i got two of them they both registerd throgh go daddy in the same account. right now i would like to give some storage space to a freind that have a url ( also go ddady) in a different account . and i do not know how to do it . i think he needs to set up his name servers as my name servers so he did and than i should add his url in the domain maneger i did that also and even installed joomla on this particular folder that i assinged to his url nothing happenend . am i missing somthing ? plz help if you can :)

    In IIS 7.5, I'm trying to rewrite a Url such as /about to /content.asp?p=about, with support for QueryString-s, so if the orginal Url was /about?x=y, it should rewrite to /content.asp?p=about&x=y. The basic rewriting is now working, but when I'm trying to add a QueryString it doesn't work. Tried both /about?x=y and /about&x=y.
