  I always get warning when use mysql2 do query /usr/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/mysql2-0.2.6/lib/active_record/connection_adapters/mysql2_adapter.rb:463: warning: :database_timezone option must be :utc or :local - defaulting to :local I did see a option for Timezones Mysql2 now supports two timezone options: :database_timezone - this is the timezone Mysql2 will assume fields are already stored as, and will use this when creating the initial Time objects in ruby :application_timezone - this is the timezone Mysql2 will convert to before finally handing back to the caller did any one know, how to usage, and where to set this option? • Help with jQuery 'zoom' script

  Hi All I'm using this script on my site - http://www.suuronen.org/esa-matti/projects/panfullsize/ Got it all working fine, only problem is that it always defaults to the zoomed image when you load a page. I'd rather it showed the scaled down image first, and then zoomed when requested. Anyone know how I can fix it? Cheers Sam

What am I missing? What I want to do is store some data in HttpContext.Current.Items or a similar collection that exists for the length of the request.

  From the docs: When Core Data turns an object into a fault, key-value observing (KVO) change notifications (see Key-Value Observing Programming Guide) are sent for the object’s properties. If you are observing properties of an object that is turned into a fault and the fault is subsequently realized, you receive change notifications for properties whose values have not in fact changed. So if an object turns into a fault, Core Data does send KVO notifications for changed properties? So I must always check for isFault == NO before beeing happy about the notification?

Good examples: () [] () ([]()[]) Bad examples: ( (] ([)] Suppose my function is called: isBalanced. Should each pass evaluate a smaller substring (until reaching a base case of 2 left)?   What's the algorithm for creating hash (sha-1 or MD5) of an RSA public key? Is there a standard way to do this? Hash just the modulus, string addition of both and then take a hash? Is SHA-1 or MD5 usually used? I want to use it to ensure that I got the right key (have the sender send a hash, and I calculate it myself), and log said hash so I always know which exact key I used when I encrypt the payload.

  I'm wondering if there's a super-efficient way of confirming that an Image object references an entirely black image, so every pixel within the bitmap is ARGB(255, 0, 0, 0). What would you recommend? Most of these bitmaps will be 1024 x 6000 pixels (although it's not safe to assume they'll always be that size).
