  • Why do browsers use my saved password for all forms in the one site?

    Is there a way to limit the url of saved credentials in browsers? For example, if I save a username and password for http://www.website.com/login can I make it so that the rest of the forms in the site don't use these details? http://www.website.com/members, http://www.website.com/admin etc... I'm aware of the autocomplete attribute but I don't want to turn off autocomplete entirely. I would like it if the browser remembered the login details per form or url.

  • Enforce "spaces" or "tabs" only in python files ?

    In Python, is there a mean to enforce the use of spaces or tabs indentation with a per file basis ? Well, perhaps "enforce" is too strong, its more like "recommands". I keep getting files with mixed indentation and this is annoying... (to say the least) Python itself can tell when there is a problem, but I am searching something to do that at the editor level, like it exists for the charset.

  • How do I load ascx pages faster in visual studio 2008?

    One of my (my team's) biggest peeves with VS2008 is the slow speed in which ascx load. It could take up to a couple minutes to do something as simple as a text or style change simply because of the time it takes to load an ascx page into the visual studio text editor. Half the time I'm tempted to check out the file, edit it in notepad, then check it back in. Is there any trick to speeding this up?

    I'm just learning ROR and I came across the if / else statements. I also came across 'elseif' but my text editor (textmate) doesn't pick it up as a keyword, not does the program run properly. if name == 'Chris' puts 'What a lovely name.' elseif name == 'Katy' puts 'What a lovely name!' end I'm using the book, Learn to Program, which was written several years ago. I was wondering if the 'elseif' was changed because when I simply use 'else' it seems to function properly

Rationale: Swip wants to generate ordinary PHP code because it is so ubiquitous for the types of projects swip wants to do. Unfortunately swip would like to actually avoid writing PHP -- strange but true! Swip is crazy enough to want to generate PHP source code without having to type any PHP into Swip's editor.

  • Magento: add product twice to cart, with different attributes!

    Hello all, i have been working with this for a whole day but i cannot find any solution: I have a product (lenses), which has identical attributes, but user can choose one attribute set for one eye and another attribute set for another. On the frontend i got it ok, see it here: http://connecta.si/clarus/index.php/featured/acuvue-oasys-for-astigmatism.html So the user can select attributes for left or right eye, but it is the same product. I build a function, wich should take a product in a cart (before save), add other set of attributes, so there should be two products in the cart. What happens is there are two products, but with the same set of attributes???   • TinyMCE is removibg <style> tags

    i m facing the a problem with tinymce. when i apply .newclasss{color:#c9c9c9;} in HTML editor of TinyMce, it removes tags when i click update. My valid elements are follows: extended_valid_elements : "hr[class|width|size|noshade],font[face|size|color|style],span[class|align|style],img[href|src|name|title|onclick|align|alt|title|width|height|vspace|hspace],iframe[id|class|width|size|noshade|src|height|frameborder|border|marginwidth|marginheight|target|scrolling|allowtransparency],style" Also it is removing , and tags.. Can anyone help please??

    Hi Im using Filebrowser for Django and also TinyMCE. I include TinyMCE in my admin text area editor by adding a admin template to folder media in my templates with filename base_site.html Now when I add a image with filebrowser, tiny_mce adds a leading ../../../../ before /media/uploads/etc/image.jpg Any ideas why? I guess its some URL thats not set correct. But im not sure if its tiny_mce or filebrowser.

I have set [ValidateInput(false)] and it works when debugging it locally, but I receive the following error when I have published the site: A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (message="<p> <em>Testing</e..."). can anyone explain why the published site is different from the locally site, especially when I have set [ValidateInput(false)]?

I can easily imagine why this might be the policy -- having the initialisation step explicit to avoid surprises etc., it's just that I seem to recall this not always being the case...     Can resources be extracted from a compiled iPhone app that is released to the iTunes store? I'm particularly interested in the security of XML files... if I have copyrighted data in an XML document in my resource directory, how likely is it for someone to extract that information and paste it around the internet? If it's as easy as using a resource editor, how can that data be secured?
