  I am generating a matrix report dynamically using report viewer version 9.0 in visual studio 2010. If i export save and print then it works normally. If there more columns report expands horizontally across mutiple pages. If i give Print option available in the toolbar of the report viewer. The columns are moved to second page which is correct but the row headers (product 1, product 2) should not be repeated in the second page.In the second page report should have all details except the product information. I am also interested to know whether it is the functionality of this version report viewer.

  Hi all, I have a question. A client I have been doing some work recently has a range of websites with different login mechanisms. He is looking to slowly migrate to a single sign-on mechanism for his websites (all written in asp.net mvc). I am looking at my options here, so here is a list of requirements: 1) It has to be secure (duh) 2) It needs to support extra user properties over and above the usual name, address stuff (such as money or credits for a user) 3) It has to provide a centralized user management web console for his convenience (I understand that this will be a small project on top of whatever design solution I choose to go for) 4) It has to integrate with the existing websites without re-engineering the whole product (I understand that this depends on the current product implementation). 5) It has to deal with emailing the user when he registers (in order for him to activate his account) 6) It has to deal with activating the user when he clicks the activate me link in the email (I understand that 5 and 6 require some form of email templating system to support different emails per application) I was thinking of creating a library working together with forms authentication that exposes whatever methods are required (e.g. login, logout, activate, etc. and a small restful service to implement activation from email, registration processing etc. Taking into account that loads of things have been left out to make this question brief and to the point, does this sound like a good design? But this looks like a very common problem so arent there any existing projects that I could use? Thanks for reading.

  I'm giving ErgoEmacs mode a try to see if I can use Emacs more comfortably. Some of its keybindings are fairly intuitive, but in many cases I don't want to outright replace the defaults. For example, in the context of ErgoEmacs' navigation shortcut structure, M-h makes sense as a replacement for C-a--but I want to be able to use both, not just M-h.   I have 2 squid servers load-balanced with F5 LTMs set up as a reverse proxy. My problem: origin server A hosts domains 1, 2, and 3 origin server B hosts domains 4 and 5. how can I set up squid so that it will cache all vhosts for both servers? my current config: cache_peer serverA parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS If I add a second line: cache_peer serverB parent 80 0 round-robin no-query originserver login=PASS it only caches domains on serverB, requests for serverA content generate 404 errors. I don't use squid a whole lot, and all help is appreciated. thanks.

  I've got several models that I'd like to relate together hierarchically. For simplicity's sake, let's say I've got these three: class Group < ActiveRecord::Base acts_as_tree has_many :users end class User < ActiveRecord::Base acts_as_tree belongs_to :group has_many :posts end class Post < ActiveRecord::Base acts_as_tree belongs_to :user end Under the current acts_as_tree, each node can individually can relate hierarchically to other nodes provided they are of the same type. What I'd like is to remove this restriction on type identity, so that SomePost.parent could have a User or a Post as its' parent, and that SomeUser.parent could have another user or a group as its parent. Any thoughts?

  I have sort of a small parent/teacher social network set up for my school. I use my .htaccess file to make the links to teacher profiles cleaner and to add a trailing slash to all urls. I get this problem when going to /teachers/teacher-name/ the link (sometimes) redirects to /teachers/teacher-name.php.php.php.php.php.php.php.php... Below is my .htaccess file. Sometimes if I clear my browser cache in Chrome it temporarily fixes it. I can't exactly wright .htaccess syntax, but I'm pretty familiar with it. Any suggestions are appreciated! • NullPointerException when trying to run an applet of multiple classes

  I'm trying to display an applet in an html page. I've had success doing this in the past, but now that I have more than one class in the applet, I seem to get an error every time I try to load the applet in an html page. For a bit, I was writing the html page by hand, but then I realized the applet viewer in netbeans (the IDE I'm coding in) created an html page for you, which is the same as the one I was coding. The application runs error-free when in the applet viewer, but the following message is displayed when I try to run it in the html page: java.lang.NullPointerException at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager.findAppletJDKLevel(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager.createApplet(Unknown Source) at sun.plugin2.applet.Plugin2Manager$AppletExecutionRunnable.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException I tested another small, one class applet and it ran fine in the html page under the same conditions. Any ideas what may be wrong?

  Hello, Sometimes I break long conditions in IFs to several lines. The most obvious way to do this is: if (cond1 == 'val1' and cond2 == 'val2' and cond3 == 'val3' and cond4 == 'val4'): do_something Isn't very very appealing visually, because the action blends with the conditions. However, it is the natural way using correct Python indentation of 4 spaces. Edit: By the way, for the moment I'm using: if ( cond1 == 'val1' and cond2 == 'val2' and cond3 == 'val3' and cond4 == 'val4'): do_something Not very pretty, I know :-) Can you recommend an alternative way ?

  Hi, I'm trying to use vssadd task to add a tree of source files to a recent created project on VSS. But it happens to be adding only the folder tree, all files missing. <vsscp vsspath="$/DEV/APL_${version}" ssdir="${vssapl}" serverPath="${vsssvr}"/> The vssadd task displays the name of the folders it's creating: ... Trying to use wilcards are no good, the task says it found no matching files and ss returns with a code of 100: <vssadd ssdir="${vssapl}" localPath="C:\Workspace\APL_Build*.*" recursive="true" serverPath="${vsssvr}" comment="Build ${versao} at ${to.timestamp}"/ I've noticed that vssadd does not accept fileset tag either, so I'm kind of lost here.   I know this looks like a 'please write the code' request, but some basic pointer/principles for doing this the right way should be enough to get me going. I have the following stored procedure: CREATE PROCEDURE `TAA`.`runClean` (IN idlist varchar(1000)) BEGIN DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR NOT FOUND ROLLBACK; DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR SQLEXCEPTION ROLLBACK; DECLARE EXIT HANDLER FOR SQLWARNING ROLLBACK; START TRANSACTION; DELETE FROM RunningReports WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_INDATA_INVOICE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_INDATA_LINE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_OUTDATA_INVOICE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_OUTDATA_LINE WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM TMD_TEST WHERE run_id IN (idlist); DELETE FROM RunHistory WHERE id IN (idlist); COMMIT; END $$ It is called by a PHP script to clean out old run history. It is not particularly efficient as you can see and I would like to speed it up. The PHP script gathers the ids to remove from the tables with the following query: $query = "SELECT id, stop_time FROM RunHistory WHERE config_id = $configId AND save = 0 AND NOT(stop_time IS NULL) ORDER BY stop_time"; It keeps the last five run entries and deletes all the rest. So using this query to bring back all the IDs, it determines which ones to delete and keeps the 'newest' five. After gathering the IDs it sends them to the stored procedure to remove them from the associated tables. I'm not very good with SQL, but I ASSUME that using an IN statement and not joining these tables together is probably the least efficient way I can do this, but I don't know enough to ask anything but "how do I do this better?" If possible, I would like to do this all in my stored procedure using a query to gather all the IDs except for the five 'newest', then delete them. Another twist, run entries can be marked save (save = 1) and should not be deleted.   Hi, I have the toggle in my menu Working successfully for the two links that I have within it. Because the top link once toggled covers the other link, there is no problem. But since the link beneath it leaves the top link exposed, a user could click that and now have two toggled items open and pretty much stacked on top of each other. • Using one data source across multiple views in Kendo UI SPA

  I am trying to build a Kendo UI SPA. I have two views. View 1 (appListView) shows Application Details in a grid and view 2 (activityView) will have a dropdown for application names and a grid that shows the activity for selected application As I am loading all the application details on the loading of view 1, I would like to re-use those details to populate the dropdown on view 2. Please see my code below. Everything works fine but when I go to View 2 it makes a call to the service again to get application details. I would like to use the existing data if it is already loaded and if the uses comes to view 2 directly then it should get application data also. I am not sure what I am missing in the code.   Andrew's answer to my comment has sparked this question. According to his awesome answer in the link above, the code at the bottom of the question will only work for ONE widget. But it's killer nice code and makes sense... I guess I want the best of both worlds. Nice JS, (if that is possible) and to have the zero results show() just the element that we're using at the time. If I use the autocomplete text field, say 3 times, and i have 3 autocomplete instances on the page and the third one finds 0 results: The code will show() all 3 instances of the guest_investor_email text field, instead of just this one that is blank. QUESTION: How do i get something like jQuery(this).siblings(('span.guest_investor_email').show(); to work? this is an Object and not an array of elements to select. If it isn't with this I don't mind, as long as I know how to get at it. Thanks. • Vertically Merge Multiple Tables in MySQL by Joint Primary Key

  Hello, I'll attempt to make my question as clear as possible. I'm fairly unexperienced with SQL, only know the really basic queries. In order to have a better idea I'd been reading the MySQL manual for the past few days, but I couldn't really find a concrete solution and my needs are quite specific. I've got 3 MySQL MyISAM tables: table1, table2 and table3. Each table has an ID column (ID, ID2, ID3 respectively), and different data columns. For example table1 has [ID, Name, Birthday, Status, ...] columns, table2 has [ID2, Country, Zip, ...], table3 has [ID3, Source, Phone, ...] you get the idea. The ID, ID2, ID3 columns are common to all three tables... if there's an ID value in table1 it will also appear in table2 and table3. The number of rows in these tables is identical, about 10m rows in each table. What I'd like to do is create a new table that contains (most of) the columns of all three tables and merge them into it. The dates, for instance, must be converted because right now they're in VARCHAR YYYYMMDD format. Reading the MySQL manual I figured STR_TO_DATE() would do the job, but I don't know how to write the query itself in the first place so I have no idea how to integrate the date conversion. So basically, after I create the new table (which I do know how to do), how can I merge the three tables into it, integrating into the query the date conversion?

• Multiple developers on a Titanium project

  I'm making an iPhone app with Appcelerator Titanium and I want to share the source code with a few more programmers. I will use a SCM repository which at some point might be open to the general public. Now my question is, are there any files which I should not commit to the repository? In project root I can tell that tiapp.xml and mainfest are telling the app GUID, is there any reason for me to keep that private? (this value is also shown many places in the build/ folder) I've added everything in the Resources/ folder. If I skip the build/iphone/build/ folder, will developers still be able to build the project? Side question - When another programmer downloads this code, it seems to me that (s)he has to have the same directory structure as I do? Any workarounds for this?

• Filter entire NSDictionaries out of NSArray based on multiple keys

  Hi, I have an NSArray of NSDictionary objects which I would like to be able to return a new array of NSDictionaries from, where every NSDictionary has "Area == North" (for example). The closest example I have found so far is http://stackoverflow.com/questions/958622/using-nspredicate-to-filter-an-nsarray-based-on-nsdictionary-keys but this just returns the unique values for a given key, not the dictionary that has that key. Is there any way to perform a similar operation, and to return the entire dictionary?
