  • In C, during step by step debugging in a function, how can i view the content of an array in the "Autos?" window along with the other variables?

    I'm using VS 2012, and I'm working on a bubble sort. After searching I found a nifty trick to see the content of the array in the "Watch 1" tab, (How to view contents of an array while debugging in Code Blocks?), but going from "watch 1" to "Autos" every step to see what's changing in the array isn't practical at all. How can i see the array content within "Autos" along side my other changing variables, where i need it to show?

  • What's the difference between $get and $find in JavaScript?

    Hi, I'm a .NET programmer who've just started to learn more about client side scripting, and I was wondering sometimes you use $get('value') and $find('value') and I've discovered that these are just shortcuts for document.getElementById('value') and Sys.Application.findComponent('value'), respectively. However, I still don't understand: what is the difference between these two functions in JavaScript? What exactly are they looking up/retrieving when invoked? Thanks in advance.

I have seen many great startups which built some neat apps on the email platform (for instance, friendfeed's notification mechanism, or surely posterous which mail is at the heart of their business logic), and wonder about which mail server have they found easy to learn and integrate with. I want my webapp to work mainly offline and allow users to fill the database and at a certain point i'd like to send my database to a server to process and store all the informations.   • Is there a good GUI SVN app for Mac (better than XCode)

    Hey everybody, I'm looking for a more robust and fully featured GUI SVN manager for Mac than what is built into XCode (which works, but only as long as you don't need anything beyond the bare basics and doesn't work for versioning scripts and such created in other editors). I can use the terminal commands, but I'd really like the option of using a GUI. On windows I use TortoiseSVN and Visual SVN, which do pretty much everything I need, but as far as I'm aware there's nothing even remotely resembling those on the Mac side.

Y [in] Type: int The new position of the top of the window, in client coordinates. By "client coordinates", does it mean that the parameters specify the position of the client area of the window, or that they specify the position of the window (not the client area) relative to the parent window's client area? Or something else?

Basic scheme is: There will be client software on each user PC which will extract domain information on http requests and decide if it's already available on server or not.   • Add Page Tab dialog not working

    I was always using the direct Add to Page Tab URL like this: http://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=238557109577754&redirect_uri=http://www.facebook.com And today that URL gives me "Sorry, something went wrong.". Did something changed on Facebook side? Or is it a temporary bug? Note that I have tried other redirect_uri params, such as the URL of the location where the app is hosted. It does always result in the same error.

    The following does not work: var js_str= '<?php echo $str_from_server; ?>'; The problem is that, $str_from_server can contain any characters. If it contains single quotes or line breaks or others, the above code will break. And I do not have access to the server-side code. What's the easiest way to "escape" the contents of $str_from_server into a javascript string, and then it can be restored later?
