• Twitter Bootstrap: How to make top fixed navbar stay in container and not stretch?

  I'm working with Twitter Bootstrap and the regular navbar you see in the guides: http://twitter.github.io/bootstrap/components.html#navbar I don't want the navigation to stretch all the way left or right but stay where I can see both sides just like in the guide. The only difference is it would be fixed to the top. I was wondering, how do I make this become a fixed navbar as if I was using the navbar-fixed-top class?

• Including different code for other home screen replacement screens

  I have put together a Skin for OpenHome but have since ran across AHome code for their IPhone theme and was wondering that if I included for AHome their Dock_Bg or widget_drawer among other things which is not on OpenHome that the Launcher for the respective screen replacement would just call the items it uses.I want to keep the mb as low as I can but reach more handsets.I can just make seperate ones but see many that include even Freshface as well as OpenHome and AHome.

  Hi, As opposed to manually setting up a Wifi network(scanningaddingset encryption settings, etc) I'm trying to create an app that once the user enters his login credentials will automatically add the wifi network complete with the necessary network settings. Maybe i've been searching using the wrong keywords but I havent stumbled upon anything about this. I'm wondering which class(es) I should be looking at. Is this even allowed by the API?

  Hi, I want to change my asp.net form's Id ="aspnetForm" to custom name (I can't change it as its a child page and .NET would enforce 'aspnetForm' name.). My resolution that I am working on is 1024x768..but the computer that I am going to be running this program on is a wide screen..1280x768. I try to change it in properties but it keeps defaulting back to 1036x760.

• In ruby on rails, is it possible to do a sum query with group by using the find_each batching?

  I'm loading data from my database and I'm doing a sum calculation with a group by. ElectricityReading.sum(:electricity_value, :group => "electricity_timestamp", :having => ["electricity_timestamp = '2010-02-14 23:30:00'"]) My data sets are extremely large, 100k upwards so I was wondering if its possible to use the find_each to batch this to help with memory overhead. I can write the batching manually use limit and offset I guess but I'd like to avoid that if the code already exists.

My implementation need to re-execute the whole system again after one manipulation, and that is not efficient.   I have the following dilemma: I have a list of strings, and I want to find the set of string which start with a certain prefix. The list is sorted, so the naive solution is this: Perform binary search on the prefixes of the set, and when you find an element that starts with the prefix, traverse up linearly until you hit the top of the subset. This runs in linear time, however, and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a more efficient way to do it.
