    By default in windows application setting are saved in this directory: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\<Company Name>\<appdomainname>_<eid>_<hash>\<verison>\user.config Is it possible to change path for saving user.config file? For example save it in local folder?

The iPhone app has a facebook and twitter API integrated and when I use the same into the iPad app then the Dialog for facebook API opens same as the size as in iPhone. So it looks very small.     Hi, I am looking for a way to deploy my application to another users simulator. To be blunt the person needs to show the application on the simulator and is not capable of compiling the source code and I don't have the time to produce the instructions. What I want to do is provide them with the .app (or another) file and have them install it in the simulator just like they can do with any real iPhone Device. Does anyone know how I can do this?

  • Starting inets/httpd with custom application

    I've got a module that I'm attempting to turn into a proper OTP application. Currently, the module has start/0 which starts a genserver which supplies configuration data read from a config file. It then calls inets:start(httpd,config:lookup(httpd_conf)). I gather that I need to move the starting of these out into the .app file's (application list) but I'm not sure how to get my config data into the inets:start function (or pass in httpd)?     Hello people. I have a .NET 2.0 application with nothing fancy in it. It worked until yesterday on every PC I installed or copied it to, no matter if 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 or 3.5 SP1 was installed, no matter if it was Win2000, XP or even Win7 (in total 100+ machines). Yesterday I did my normal installation procedure and wanted to start it one time to check if everything is working...and it wasn't. The program crashed hard leaving me with the uninformative "Do you wanna report this error?" dialog. The problem is an exception in the Main(String[] args) routine of my application. I also found a bug report at Microsoft (Google Cache) about this bug (in another context, though). But as it seems, they won't even look at it. Every help is greatly appreciated! Edit: I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Prof.. Crash happens in Release- and Debug-Build on the client machine. Debugging the application directly on this machine is out of question I fear, 300+ Miles and they only have two computers to work with.

  • What is the command line syntax to embed MPlayer in an app window in OS X?

    I know the window ID, and I'm trying stuff like: mplayer -ontop -slave -quiet -wid 471165040 /t.mov mplayer -ontop -slave -quiet --window=471165040 /t.mov but nothing is working. (I know the window ID is correct) Otherwise, mplayer CLI is working great in its own window, just can't get it to play embedded. Can anyone point me to a syntax example of embedding mplayer in an app in OS X? thanks!

I need to write JavaScript in this HTML page which will remove any window.onresize handler from the page loaded in the IWebBrowser2 control. IWebBrowser2 exposes the DOM through IWebBrowser2::Document, but this is equivalent to window.document. Is there any way I can get access to window or window.onresize?

    My application uses many Python libraries (Django, Twisted, xmlrpc). I cannot expect that the end user has the Python installed with all needed libraries. I've created a fancy installer for my application using Inno Setup, but I don't think that it is a good solution to execute 5 other setup programs from my installer. It would be annoying to the user to click "Next" button 15 times. Is there any way to do that quietly?

    I have a .NET C# winforms application which works great on my machine, but if I try to run it on another machine, it doesn't start up. No error message, no crash message, no window - nothing. I've found that this always happens when a referenced assembly is missing. I guess this is .NET's general behavior and not specific to my app, is it? Is there any way to configure .NET or my application such that it spits out a "referenced assembly missing" like error message in such cases?

I have an about screen in my application with some information like support phone number, email address, website URL and application version in form like 01.01.01 After setting autoLink="all" on the textView, all values are linked fine - except that version number 01.01.01 is linked as the phone number as well. Is there some way to exclude this text fragment from linkifing?
