I would like to add custom (non-project) files to generate some extra pages with Doxygen.
I am (was actually) unsure how these files should be named and how their content should be formatted.
I am trying to get Opera to re-request a page every time instead of just serving it from the cache. I'm sending the 'Cache-control=no-cache' and 'Pragma: no-cache' response headers but it seems as if Opera is just ignoring these headers. It works fine in other browsers - Chrome, IE, Firefox.
How do I stop Opera from caching pages? What I want to be able to do is have Opera re-request a page when the user clicks the Back button on the browser.
I am trying to make a firefox extension which looks at all the new pages that a user views and look at the URL. I was looking at the nsINavHistoryObserver interface and was interested in the onVisit function. Is there a way to create an event listener that can listen to whenever the onVisit function is called?
Thanks

I am trying to build an aspx page at runtime (by another aspx page which finally redirects to the new one). As far as I understand, aspx pages MUST be precompiled before a user can view them. In other words, the aspx page must be compiled to the DLL in the /bin folder.
Is there a away to tell IIS, or to order it by VB.NET code, to compile a page before I am redirecting my user to the page?
Any help would be greatly appriciated.
I remember someone telling me that gzipped content is not cached on some browsers?
is this true?
Are there any other reasons why I shouldn't gzip my content (pages, javascript and css files) with htaccess?

We have an application that takes snapshots of certain web pages. It's quite tightly integrated into the code, so we're not ready to incorporate another library.
But we don't have a way of being able to calculate the web page height, so we end up taking snaps of 8000px height. Which is now proving troublesome when inserted into PDFs.
Is there a way to find the height of the webpage in PHP?
I need some guidelines on how to detect the headline and content of crawled pages. I've been seeing some very weird front-end codework since i started working on this crawler.
I need to create a web (or non-web) system where a user can create a template layout with tags and placeholders for elements. They could then add new pages to this template. My system would need to pick up any elements that have changed and create an XML of the tagged content. I was just wondering what would be the best CMS or any other software I could use to implement this?
Hey, I'm having trouble with a relative positioned footer. I'm using a clearfooter div to keep the footer at the bottom of each of my pages. This works fine for all resolutions except for 1440x900, any ideas why this resolution would make the header raise up 10 or so pixels off the bottom?

If I made a homepage with an embedded .swf which had buttons that linked to other html pages on my website using the getUrl() function, would those links be spiderable by google? Or should I also put in text links outside of the .swf (which would ruin the design a bit)?
I know a lot of people will argue I shouldn't have flash as the main content on the homepage (and their comments are appreciated), but bear in mind, that's not my question.
I try two use sidewaysfigure from the rotating package in the twosided memoir class. The resulting figures look correct in the pdf that is generated, with the page rotated by 90 degrees.
However, when I print the document (on linux, using CUPS), some of the pages with a sidewaysfigure are upside down (rotated by 180 degreeS).
I would like to know whether it a possible to detect whether a HTML page contains a video.
I know that one possible way is to look for ".swf" in the HTML source code. But most of the pages do not contain the file name.
For example, given following URL and possibly its source code, is it possible to find out whether it contains a video:
http://www.cnn.com/video/
most of my traffic is on video media pages, like this one
http://markem.iyobo.com/7AXzCJkehsS
however i have already implimented section targeting as you can see by viewing the page source. sections targeted are as follows
title
descp
tags

I am wanting to redirect a page on click, and then load specified content into on of those pages div.
How do I go about doing this?
For example:
<div id="redirect">Click here to go to new page</div>
When the new page loads, there will be a div with id = content that needs to have content automatically loaded based on data sent from the redirect id on the previous page.

Hey, I'm writing a canvas app for facebook. I use the command:
$user_id = $facebook-require_login();
To get the userid, but at the first few pages of my app I don't want to require login, but if the user's logged in, I'd like to know what the userid is. Basically I need a "get_login()" command that perhaps returns 0 or null if the user is not logged in. Is there anything like that?
The question says it all really, I'm looking for book recommendations, video tutorials etc. I've been programming since I was about six so I don't need a book that spends 4 pages on for loops (thought that might be a Bad example in terms of javascript).
Also I'm learning ASP.net at the moment so anything on interoperability features/issues would be welcome, though I'm guessing I just showed my ignorance with that question.
Hi,
I have a page on the example.com domain which contains an IFrame, this IFrame loads an ASP.NET page (c#) from the example2.com domain.
From the code behind on the example2.com domain how can I get the URL of the master page?
Would it help if the 2 pages were on the same domain, so example.com contains an iframe with sub.example.com?
Thanks
