  • Usehttpget for script methods in config of asp.net web services

    Is there a way to put the usehttpget true/false option for scriptmethods in web.config? I see that even the scriptmethod annotations are placed inline with the code. Is there a way to move this to config as well? Ive seen usehttpget/post option in web.config for webservices but I need the same thing applicable for scriptservices.

  • Web Service URL change is not recognized

    I deployed in a production environment a .net solution that consumes a web service added as "Service reference" in visual studio. Today the endpoint URL has changed, and I modified that URL in web.config. But when I run the solution I get the error: System.ServiceModel.FaultException: Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPAction: http://93.62.150.200/LogEvent. Now that sound strange to me. As you can see, the IP is 93.62.... but the new value is different. The web.config entry (with the new value or the URL) is: <client> <endpoint address="http://213.92.50.215/sawfc/WS_SAWFC_Int.asmx" binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="wsSAWFCInterfaceSoap" contract="it.datasphere.ws.wsSAWFCInterfaceSoap" name="wsSAWFCInterfaceSoap" /> </client> I cannot reach the new web service from dev environment, so I cannot modify the Service reference there. I've create the database from my DMBL using DataContext.CreateDatabase() (not the other way around, as I found out to be the more common scenario later) I there a facility in LINQ in which I can update my SQL database scheme?

  • Vim script to TeX source, and launch PDF only if no errors

    Hi, I am switching to using Vim for for my LaTeX editing environment. I would like to be able to tex the source file from within Vim, and launch an external viewing if the compile was successful. I know about the Vim-Latex suite, but, if possible, would prefer to avoid using it: it is pretty heavy-weight, hijacks a lot of my keys, and clutters up my vimruntime with a lot of files.   • Java - Google App Engine - InvalidClassException when I change a class that was stored in session sc

    I updated my User class, and now whenever someone that had the old version of the User class stored in their session scope accesses my site, I get an InvalidClassException. javax.servlet.ServletException: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.InvalidClassException: User; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 4949038118012519093, local class serialVersionUID = -971500502189813151 How do I stop this error from happening for those users? I could probably invalidate everyone's sessions every time I want to update a class that gets stored in session scope, but is there a better way, so that my user's don't have to login again?

  • Android - Dealing with a Dialog on Screen Orientation change

    I am overriding the onCreateDialog and onPrepareDialog methods or the Dialog class. I have followed the example from Reto Meier's Professional Android Application Development book, Chapter 5 to pull some XML data and then use a dialog to display the info. The error still occurs even when I tell my activity to ignore screen orientation in the manifest. So I presume something has been left out of the example in the book do I need to override another method to save my variables in or something?

  • Change column height as other column gets longer

    Hi, I have tried a few things to solve this problem but I can't seem to get it working. The problem is that I have 2 columns as the main part of my website, right and left. On some pages, there is a lot of text in the left column, therefore it is very long, the problem is that the right column doesn't elongate with the left column. Both columns have the same background colour and a footer s displayed across the width of both columns after the columns finish. My first thought was to put both columns inside a div which would have the same background colour as them and therefore if the left column became 1500px long in total and the right column stayed at around 600px (due to the elements inside it) then this wouldn't show as the new, outer div would elongate along with the left column. But for some reason this didn't work. Could it be because the columns are floated? Does anyone have any other ideas?     Designing forms has always been fun, but getting them to send email on the server side is another story. I have used various email scripts (dynaform,phpmailer, etc), and have experienced a ton of problems. So here is the site I am working on: Contact On the Right. It is very basic: no validation, no required fields. I simply need anything that is entered to be sent back to me. Does anyone know of any BASIC PHP form processing scripts, or have a few lines of code that would work here? I'm not a PHP guy, so I am struggling! Thanks in advance.

    Short version: How do I set a Git remote's HEAD ref to point to something besides "master"? My project has a policy not to use a "master" branch (all branches are to have meaningful names). Furthermore, the canonical master repository is only accessible via ssh://, with no shell access (like GitHub or Unfuddle). My problem is that the remote repository still has a HEAD reference to refs/heads/master, but I need it to point to a different branch. This is causing two problems: When cloning the repo, there this, warning: remote HEAD refers to nonexistent ref, unable to checkout. That's confusing and inconvenient. The web-based code browser depends on HEAD as a basis for browsing the tree. I need HEAD to point to a valid branch, then.

    Hi All - I am still a bit of a beginner at AS3, so bear with me, please. I have created a loop to instantiate tiles on a board. In the following example, "Gametiles" is an array containing objects of class "Tile" which is a class that extends MovieClip. If I did something like the following: trace(Game.I_Tile_1_3.x); I get "TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties." However, I am able to access theses children in the following manner: var testing = Game.getChildByName("I_Tile_1_3") trace(testing.x); This method is a bit cumbersome though. I really don't want to have to create a var and call getChildByName every time I want to interact with these properties or methods. How can I set up these children so that I can access them directly without the extra steps?

    I am trying to use JXMapViewer (from swingx-ws) with Open Street Maps. I was wondering if it would be possible to display the map tiles in the JXMapViewer based on heading up, rather than on North up. For example, the normal car GPS navigation systems let you do that. I've looked through the documentation and there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. Is there something else that accomplish this, besides JXMapViewer?
