  • iPhone - Tweak the UINavigationController to show a UINavigationBar made into IB

    Hello, I've build a UINavigationBar into Interface Builder, and I have a NavigationController into my app. I'd like to make the one use the other to work. Just to manage the bar into IB and let the controller use it as its view (and adding by itself the Back button if needed), or in another way to do the same thing, let the NavBar use the navcontroller to adjust its display. Do you see a way to do this ? If not, I really don't see the use of the NavigationBar proposed into IB.

  • Getting shortest path between 2 nodes in quickgraph

    Hello, i want to ask if there is any way to generate the shortest path from node A to node B without generating the shortest paths to all the other nodes (stop when node B is in the examined set) with A-star in QuickGraph. I want to plug QuickGraph into a game and thus generating all the paths is not allowed from the time limitations the environment imposes.     Hello, I am writing a program using rmi to connect server and clients together and got the following issue: My rmi server support both ethernet and wifi mode rmi clients can connect to the server either vi ethernet or wifi depending. That because s*ome clients can only run via ethernet* and some can only run via wifi. My question is: how can I make my rmi server connect to all clients in such situation? Thanks.

    Hello, I am repeatedly drawing to an offscreen bitmap context non-destructivly on iphone. Right now the only way I have figured out to get it to display is to update the drawRect of my UIView with the contents of the context. This runs really slow and seems unnecessary. Does any one know of a way to have the bitmap update on the screen without force refreshing the whole thing?

    Hello! I have about twenty UITextViews and corresponding .txt files. What I want is to make each UITextView take the contents of the corresponding file and display it. Moreover, the text is formatted and it contains some formulas (copy/pasted from Grapher). I've heard about displaying formatted text in UIWebView, but I haven't found a clear explanation anywhere.     Hello, I am having some problems getting some French text to convert to UTF8 so that it can be displayed properly, either in a console, text file or in a GUI element.
