  Hello, Currently i have a php file which fetch data from mysql to display in website. • JQuery Accordion - bottom-up in stead of top-down

  Hi there, I have a question about the accordion plugin for jQuery. Basically, I've got it to work on my site nicely, there's just one thing that I'd have liked it to do and that is bottom-up opening in stead of top-down. What I mean by that is that my 3 buttons just stand in the vertical menu (div) in the bottom. And when you click it, they'll slide open but upwards, not downwards. Is there a way to achieve this easily? I've gone through the documentation, but can't find any native support for it, so I was wondering if it was possible to do it in the javascript of the plugin itself. Thanks in advance.

It's what I want. But the question is, if I want to add another LI element to this string (htmlstr) how can I do? I set s = new html string but htmlstr doesn't change. Thanks

• Changing stylesheet href with jQuery doesn't quite work

  I'm creating a web app that user will be accessing in the field, so they'd like to be able to manually toggle the styles from light to dark depending on the ambient lighting. I'm using jQuery. I added an id attribute to my stylesheet, then created a button using the toggle() event, in which I change the href attribute to the CSS file I want. The CSS file has several @import directives as I split the styles into several files for maintainability. My problem is only the main CSS file is being applied. I tried using the absolute path in the @import directives, but no luck. Is there a fix here I'm missing, or do I have to inlcude everything in a single CSS file? Edit: Apprently this is only a problem in IE8, works fine in Chrome and Firefox. Unfortunately, my client wants only IE8. Looks like this is a duplicate of this question.

I'm trying to use Jquery so that when the mouse enters the parent DIV box, the child element is made visible, and then hides when the mouse leaves the parent DV. There will be multiple divs on the page with these classes. For some reason it's not working. Any ideas? • JQuery JEditable stay in edit mode on error

  I'm successfully using jeditable to submit via a function using jQuery.ajax and the async : false option , but am having an issue aborting if an error is returned. How can I get the edit box to stay activated and / or revert back to the original value if there are errors? I'm returning http status codes. so something like async : false .ajax submit here... if (xhr.status == 200) { return value; else { alert ('returned error'); // keep edit box activated but available for another try, or revert back to original value } I tried not returning a value from the function, which keeps the edit box activated and ready for another submit, but then the ESC key doesn't work anymore and if I click outside the edit area, the edit box stays. Given textboxes for ItemPrice, Tax and Total, I need the text value for Total to be bound to ItemPrice + Tax and the Tax value to display ItemPrice * taxRate. Could someone offer a brief explanation as to how this would be accomplished or point me to an appropriate example? I see property binding examples all over the place, but none that show binding to a calculation of the properties of two controls.
