  • How to discover getters and setters on hibernate objects

    - by Michael Jones
I need to find a way of taking a hibernate object and discovering at runtime all of the getter methods that relate to persistable fields. I'm using annotations in the classes but have previously had difficulties working with them (I ran into a 2 year old bug the java developers still haven't fixed). Does anyone know how I can do this please, ideally without using annotations? Thanks. PS - What I'm trying to do here is to update a new object with values from an existing object dynamically.

  • Objective C: Include class and call method

    - by Nic Hubbard
I have built a class which has a few methods in it, once of which returns an array, lets call this class A. I have a second class, class B, which I would like to use to call the method from class A. But, now how do I call that method from class A and store what is returned in a var in class B? Do I have to initiate the class? I have made sure to include the .h file from class A into class B. Thanks for helping a newbie.

  • Passing Request Object into Service Layer

    - by SpringTrickery
In a spring mvc + spring core app, we have have a view layers, a facade, a service layer, a dao layer and a stored-proc based persistance layer. The service layer is unaware of the clients that utilitize its methods. Is it fine to propagate raw http requests into the service layer? Or is it bad practice and a violation of the loose coupling principles? If it is, then what's a clean workaround?

  • How to get structure of a Google Protobuf message without the definition

    - by dqminh
I have to get the message structure of a protobuf message transfered to me without the message's definition. Using UnknownFieldSet methods, I was able to get a string representation of the message as below: 1: "a" 2: { 3:"b" 4:"c" } What data structure does field 2 represent ? Using UnknownFieldSet.Field.getGroupList i was able to get the content of field 3 and 4, does that means field 2 has the "deprecated" group structure ?

  • MSTest Not Finding New Tests

    - by Blake Blackwell
Using VS2010, I can't seem to add additional test methods. If I set up my project like this [TestMethod] public void Test1() { Assert.AreNotEqual(0,1); } [TestMethod] public void Test2() { Assert.AreNotEqual(0,1); } The only test that shows up in my Test View is Test1. How do I make sure Test2 gets in to that list?

  • Using a Hash table

    - by Maria Attard
I have 2 lists in my program one that store objects of type student and another one which stores objects of type marks. I have 3 methods one that inputs the details of the students, one that inputs the marks and one to view student details and their marks. My question is how I can use a hash table to get the Id of a student and then use it to input the marks and then how to retrieve both the student details and their marks altogether. Please help me if you can.

  • Problem with RSA-encrypting a string in PHP and passing it to .NET service

    - by jonasaxelsson
I need to call a web service that requires a login url containing an RSA encrypted, base_64 encoded and url-encoded login data. I don't have a formal php training, but even for me it seems like an easy task, however when calling the service I get an 'Invalid Format' response. What am I doing wrong and is there another way to come up with the encrypted string? Code example below. Thank you for your help! http://www.edsko.net/misc/ for encryption. $message = '?id=112233&param1=hello&[email protected]&name=Name'; $keyLength = '2048'; $exponent = '65537'; $modulus = '837366556729991345239927764652........'; $encryptedData = rsa_encrypt($message, $exponent, $modulus, $keyLength); $data = urlencode(base64_encode($encryptedData)); $loginurl = 'http://www.somedomain.com/LoginWB.aspx?Id=9876&Data='.$data; echo '<iframe src="'.$loginurl.'" width="570px" height="800px">'; echo '</iframe>'; ?

  • Low delay audio on Android via NDK

    - by hkhauke
Hi, it seems that this question has been asked before, I just would like to know whether there is an update in Android. I plan to write an audio application involving low delay audio I/O (appr. < 10 ms). It seems not to be possible based on the methods proposed by the SDK, hence is there - in the meantime - a way to achieve this goal using the NDK? Best regards, HK

  • Undefined function in php

    - by Bidyut
I wrote three methods in a class and one is calling another, but when I call the function outside through the object, it is showing an undefined function error for the second function. Here's my code: function resize_image(){ } function image_resize(){ $a = resize_image(); } When I run this, it shows resize_image() as undefined. Here's the error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function resize_image() in /home/vacayge/public_html/Major/Alpha1/classes/cUserImages.php on line 2090

  • Is it possible to restrict how a method can be called in PHP?

    - by Ashley Ward
Given that my class looks like this: class Methods{ function a(){ return 'a'; } function b(){ $this->a(); } function c(){ $this->a(); } } Is it possible to ensure that function a can only be called from function b? In the above example function c should fail. I could just include it in function b, but in the future I may want to let a() be called by some new functions (e.g. d() or e())

As in if a certain amount of requests are made per a certain amount of time then block the IP address or something. I thought there maybe a htaccess solution if not, I will write a PHP one. Any ideas or links to existing methods or scripts is much appreciated. Regards Phil

  • Is there a straightforward way to have a thread-local instance variable?

    - by Dan Tao
With the ThreadStatic attribute I can have a static member of a class with one instance of the object per thread. This is really handy for achieving thread safety using types of objects that don't guarantee thread-safe instance methods (e.g., System.Random). It only works for static members, though. Is there any straightforward way to declare a class member as thread-local, meaning, each class instance gets an object per thread?

My company is working on end user/developer docs using mediawiki. Any solutions out there for getting wiki markup or wiki output from phpDoc? I've looked around and found nothing.
