• Some problem running NUnit

  I have NUnit installed at this directory. C:\Program Files\NUnit 2.5.5\bin\net-2.0 When I try to run my unit test (mut.dll) in some random directory. I get the following error. I have to copy the mut.dll under the NUnit directory in order to run it. ProcessModel: Default DomainUsage: Single Execution Runtime: net-2.0 Could not load file or assembly 'nunit.framework, Version=2.5.5.10112, Culture=n eutral, PublicKeyToken=96d09a1eb7f44a77' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. What's wrong? Is there anything that I have to configure to run NUNit under any directory?

• Problem with MIB_IFTABLE & MIB_IFROW

  Hello there, Im using MIB_IFTABLE & MIB_IFROW to get the no.of bytes transmitted & received. Everything looks fine, and values are correct in case of using WIFI alone. But when i use vpn connection over wifi these values are not correct for wifi adapter, interestingly i'm getting correct values for vpn adapter. And if i see status of any of these adapters(right click and see status), all these values given by windows are correct. here are my questions. 1) is there any other way of getting no.of bytes transferred over adapter? 2) is there a way to tell whether adapter is vpn or not? (as all vpn adapters are shows as Local Area Connection) 3) If you are connected to VPN, is there a possibility of bytes getting transferred through other than this vpn adapter?(forget about split tunneling, consider very simple case) i use vs2005, win7, Im new to these protocols, thanks for any help. -calvin

  I'm using the 960.gs CSS framework on a site and have hit problems almost instantly with IE (7, though I assume 6 is no better). <html> <head> <link rel="stylesheet" href="design/reset.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="design/960.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="design/text.css" /> </head> <body> <div class="container_12">abc</div> </body> </html> Given this HTML above (the CSS is just the files bundled with 960), Firefox and Chrome centre the grid, whereas IE pushes it to the left. I've used 960 before without any issues, so I think I must just be doing something really stupid. Can anyone help?

  Ok, so I really don't know much about mod_rewrite and I'm looking over the apache docs and still not figuring this out. Here is my htaccess (which is mostly just copy & pasted from a site I found): .htaccess in base dir: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^$ public/ [L] RewriteRule (.*) public/$1 [L] </IfModule> .htaccess in /public dir: <IfModule mod_rewrite.c> RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?url=$1 [PT,L] </IfModule> Basically I'm using the above htaccess files on my current test server and it works great and exactly like I would expect (everything gets seamlessly redirected to public dir). Now when I throw this on my GoDaddy hosting account i get "Internal Server Errror". I've done some searching and I'm fairly certain I should be able to use mod_rewrite with GoDaddy. I suspect this is because I'm not using the base directory to host the site in. The site is in in the folder html/myapp/ (where html is the base directory) and i have a subdomain set up in GoDaddy to look in that folder.

• Problem while loading the application on iPAD?

  Hi, I developed a simple application for iPAD. I want to test the app how it works on the device. I have paid developer licence, and i have added the device id and created the app id and i have downloaded the provisioning profile using both. The same way how we will build the app for iphone i have done for ipad. i have sent the provisioning profile and .ipa file to my friend to load on to the ipad device(same device which i have added in the developer.apple.com). when he tried to drag n drop the provisioning file on to the device from iTunes it is giving below error. "abc.mobileprovision" was not copied on to the iPAD, because it cannot be palyed on this iPAD I am not able to understand what the exact error is. Can anyone please let me know how to dump the applicatio on to the ipad device?

  Hello! I am learning Qooxdoo framework and I am trying to make it work with a small Django web service.   Hello, I'm sure I'm just doing something stupid here, but I can't quite figure out what it is. When I try to run this code: #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <sstream> using namespace std; int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { string s("hello"); istringstream input(s, istringstream::in); string s2; input >> s2; cout << s; } I get this error: malloc: *** error for object 0x100016200: pointer being freed was not allocated *** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug The only thing I can think of is that I allocated s2 on the stack, but I thought strings manage their own content on the heap. • Problem Linking Boost Filesystem Library in Microsoft Visual C++

  Hello. I am having trouble getting my project to link to the Boost (version 1.37.0) Filesystem lib file in Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition. The Filesystem library is not a header-only library. I have been following the Getting Started on Windows guide posted on the official boost web page. Here are the steps I have taken: I used bjam to build the complete set of lib files using: bjam --build-dir="C:\Program Files\boost\build-boost" --toolset=msvc --build-type=complete I copied the /libs directory (located in C:\Program Files\boost\build-boost\boost\bin.v2) to C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0\libs. In Visual C++, under Project Properties Additional Library Directories I added these paths: C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0\libs C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0\libs\filesystem\build\msvc-9.0express\debug\link-static\threading-multi I added the second one out of desperation. It is the exact directory where libboost_system-vc90-mt-gd-1_37.lib resides. In Configuration Properties C/C++ General Additional Include Directories I added the following path: C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0 Then, to put the icing on the cake, under Tools Options VC++ Directories Library files, I added the same directories mentioned in step 3. Despite all this, when I build my project I get the following error: fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_system-vc90-mt-gd-1_37.lib' Additionally, here is the code that I am attempting to compile as well as a screen shot of the aformentioned directory where the (assumedly correct) lib file resides: #include "boost/filesystem.hpp" // includes all needed Boost.Filesystem declarations #include <iostream> // for std::cout using boost::filesystem; // for ease of tutorial presentation; // a namespace alias is preferred practice in real code using namespace std; int main() { cout << "Hello, world!" << endl; return 0; } Can anyone help me out? I have a Silverlight web service that uses LINQ to query a ADO.NET entity object. e.g.: [OperationContract] public List<Customer> GetData() { using (TestEntities ctx = new TestEntities()) { var data = from rec in ctx.Customer select rec; return data.ToList(); } } This works fine, but what I want to do is to make this more abstract.   I am developing a website which will be having both asp.net pages and MVC pages in it, So I have BaseWebPage class which will be used for both asp.net pages and MVC Views. but My BaseWebPage class is inherited from System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage, So Will there be any code/ functionality break for normal asp.net pages, because System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage is overriding some of the Pagelife cycle methods.

• Java NIO SocketChannel writing problem

  I am using Java NIO's SocketChannel to write : int n = socketChannel.write(byteBuffer); Most of the times the data is sent in one or two parts; i.e. if the data could not be sent in one attemmpt, remaining data is retried. The issue here is, sometimes, the data is not being sent completely in one attempt, rest of the data when tried to send multiple times, it occurs that even after trying several times, not a single character is being written to channel, finally after some time the remaning data is sent. What could be the cause of such behaviour? Could external factors such as RAM, etc cause the hindarance? Please help me solve this issue. If any other information is required please let me know. • problem with RenderOuterTable property for .net 4.0 controls

  According to the new 4.0 framework overview, one should be able to add the attrib RenderOuterTable="false" to a control that supports the attribute and see css friendly code be spit out - in other words no html tables. To test this, I threw a login control into a basic fresh webpage with the following code: <asp:Login ID="Login1" runat="server" RenderOuterTable="false"></asp:Login> The result? Crappy html table output, which supposedly doesn't happen with this attrib set to false. Here is the output: &lt;table cellpadding=&quot;0&quot;&gt; <tr> <td align="center" colspan="2">Log In</td> </tr><tr> <td align="right"><label for="MainContent_Login1_UserName">User Name:</label></td><td><input name="ctl00$MainContent$Login1$UserName" type="text" id="MainContent_Login1_UserName" /><span id="MainContent_Login1_UserNameRequired" title="User Name is required." style="visibility:hidden;">*</span></td>... Hopefully you get the point. Anyone know how to stop these controls from outputting tables? This is super annoying.
