  • How do you run a .bat file from PHP?

    Can anyone tell me how to execute a .bat file from a PHP script? I have tried - exec("C:[path to file]"); system("C:[path to file]"); nothing is working. Ive checked the PHP manuals and googled around but cant find a good answer. Anyone know where im going wrong? I'm running windows 2003 server and have successfully manually ran the .bat file and it does what i need it to, I just need to be able to launch it programatically. thanks

"'"; } } I need to work in a bit at the top so that if the directory doesnt exist it defaults to the images sat in the root of the background directory... Any help would be appreciated.

    I guess I am out of ideas here. I am trying to consume a web service in java which has an ssl certificate. I createt a a keystore file in which I have added the certificate. The file lies in my project folder. I imported it using: System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "folder\\keystore.jks"); System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "SECRET"); Apparently, the web service call checks the keystore because when giving a wrong path to the file the application throws an exception when invoking the WS, not when setting the system property. Anyway, when giving the correct path to the keystore file, I still get AxisFault faultCode: {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}HTTP faultSubcode: faultString: (401)Authorization Required Someone told me I had to trust the CA, before any of this would work. How do I do this?

There are two methods for GET : @GET @Produces(MediaType.TEXT_XML) public String getXml(@PathParam("typeDocument") String typeDocument) to display XML file, and @GET @Produces(MediaType.TEXT_HTML) public String getHtml(@PathParam("typeDocument") String typeDocument) to display HTML. The browser Firefox always excutes getHtml() when URL is either http://localhost:8080/sources/html or localhost:8080/sources/xml But IE always excutes getXml().     My organization is building a new version of our ticketing site and is looking for the best way to build an online waiting room when the number of users in our purchase path exceeds a certain limit. The best version of this queue would let new users in after existing users have either completed their purchase or have exceeded a timeout limit after entering the path. I'm trying to get an idea of how this has been implemented by other organizations. Has anyone out there done something similar or have any experience with this? We have some ideas, but I'd like to get a sense of what solutions have been tried and what problems those solutions have run up against. Just to be complete, this site is being built in Ruby on Rails, though I'd love to hear about how people have solved this regardless of platform.

Second, is MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256 compatible with AES-128? Finally, how would I let another party decrypt a file I've encrypted? They would need to know which encryption was used and I am not sure what to tell them.

  • Error installing pkgconfig via macports

    I installed Macports 1.8.2 from a DMG. That seemed to install fine. I ran sudo port selfupdate to make sure my ports tree was current. I then tried to install bindfs as I want to mount some directories in my OS X file system (like you can do with mount --bind in linux). pkgconfig and macfuse are two dependencies of bindfs.     So I have to preface that I'm not familiar with tomcat/catalina, but trying to troubleshoot this anyway.   • How to publish an ASP.NET MVC application to a free host

    Hi, I'm using a free web host (0000free) which supports ASP.NET MVC, but it uses Mono. This is the first time I deploy an MVC application, so I'm a little confused as to where I need to deploy it. I have Visual Studio 2010 and I used its Publish Feature (i.e. right click on the project name and click publish) and I tried several things: Publish method: FTP to the root folder. Publish method: FTP to the publich_html folder. Publish method: File System to the root folder. Publish method: File System to the publich_html folder. Publish method: File System to a local directory on my computer and then FTP to root and also tried the public_html folder. I went into the cPanel (control panel) to try and see if ASP.NET has to be added/enabled for my web site, but I didn't see anything there. I can't browse to Index.aspx nor can I redirect to it from index.html (as suggested from other posts on the host forum), right now I have a link from index.html to Index.aspx but it's not working either (see http://www.mydevarmy.com) I've also tried renaming Index.aspx to Default.aspx, but that doesn't work either.   • Why is Automator crashing on launch?

    I've run into an odd problem where Automtor.app on Snow Leopard crashes on launch. At some point in the past, I put a copy of iPhoto.app into my public directory to copy over to another machine. Now, Automator.app won't run unless my public directory has a copy of iPhoto.app in it. If I remove it, Automator.app crashes on launch.     I'm trying to configure under Linux (Kubuntu 9.10) a VPN I already use from Windows. I installed the network-manager-pptp package and added the VPN under Network Manager.     I just upgraded Ubuntu 14.04, and I had two ZFS pools on the server. There was some minor issue with me fighting with the ZFS driver and the kernel version, but that's worked out now. One pool came online, and mounted fine. The other didn't. I've run zdb -l on each drive, dumping it to a file, and running a diff. The only difference on the 3 are the guid fields (Which I assume is expected). However, the pool was fine before reboot, and Linux sees the disks fine (I have smartctl running now to double check) So, in summary: I upgraded Ubuntu, and lost access to one of my two zpools. The difference between the pools is the one that came up was JBOD, the other was zraid. All drives in the unmountable zpool are marked UNAVAIL, with no notes for corrupted data The pools were both created with disks referenced from /dev/disk/by-id/. Symlinks from /dev/disk/by-id to the various /dev/sd devices seems to be correct zdb can read the labels from the drives. Pool has already been attempted to be exported/imported, and isn't able to import again. Is there some sort of black magic I can invoke via zpool/zfs to bring these disks back into a reasonable array? Can I run zpool create zraid ... without losing my data? Is my data gone anyhow?
