trying to validate user input in php

I'm trying to validate user input in php. This code will check if the values are null or not. If it is null, this will require the user to input the values that are null. When all the text boxes in the html form that came before this. This code will show the submit button, and that submit button will save the inputted data into the mysql database. PHP mailer containing HTML not showing correctly

Hi guys, here is some code I've been working on, basically I need to set up a auto e-mail that gets sent to a user after they fill in a form, which at the moment it is doing, but the HTML is not displaying as it should inside of the email client. I checked in Gmail, Outlook and Mac mail and none of them display the HTML correctly. Hi, I have the following problem: the application is using the custom itemscontrol called ToolBox. The elements of a toolbox are called toolboxitems and are custom contentcontrol. Now, the toolbox stores a number of images that are retrieved from a database and displayed. For that I use a datatemplate inside the toolbox control. However, when I try to drag and drop the elements, I don't get the image object but the database component. I'm trying to use jQuery to insert HTML into a table element. I've been messing variations of the selector (below) with no luck. Can someone help me? Why can a struct defined inside a function not be used as functor to std::for_each?

The following code won't compile. The compiler complains about *no matching function for call to for_each*. Jquery fade and swap an element when clicked which will also relate to an accordian menu

You will notice when you click posture 1 the description drops down and images appear on the right. Now when you click posture 2 or posture 3 the images and description change as they should. What I need to do now is - If posture 1 has been clicked and then posture 2 is clicked the posture 1 menu needs to close so that there is only one posture description visible at one time. If I could also make it so that if the current open posture item is clicked so that it closes and there are no open posture descriptions that there also no images displayed on the right. Finally is there a way to make sure only one set of animation images is running, because just say the user goes through all 26 options and they continue to run in the background it may get sluggish (thanks to Nick Craver for bringing that up). At this stage only posture 1, 2 and 3 are available. Their sequence must not be fixed. Then, there are multiple element under section node as well. Using label tags in a validation summary error list?

I was thinking about making use of <label> tags in my validation error summary on a failed form submit and I can't figure out if it is going to get me in trouble down the line. Can anyone think of a good reason to avoid this approach? Usability, functionality, design, or other issues are all helpful. I really like the idea of clicking a line item in the error list and being jumped to the offending input element, especially in a mobile HTML scenario where vertical orientation is more common and scrolling is a pain. So far the only problem I can find is that labels don't navigate for radio buttons or checkboxes without individual IDs (Clicking a label for a single ID-tagged radio/checkbox element alters its selection). It doesn't make it any worse than no label, though. jQuery navigation with childs and grandchilds

Hello I'm trying to create a little menu for navigation. Some of the menu items (level 0) have possibly children (level 1) and grandchildren (level 2). (see the html code below). All I would like to make the level 1 elements visible with a click event on the level 0 elements. When hovering on level 1 elements the level 2 elements (children from the hovered level 1 element) should become visible but with a little delay (like 1 sec.) and then if you 'unhover' on that one it will take 1 second to disappear the level 2 elements that way if you accidently unhover the level 1 element it won't punish you for it because you have 1 sec to hover it again. so if you slide across all of them, it will only pop up the one you kept your mouse on initially. ASP.Net MVC 2 DropDownListFor in EditorTemplate

I have a view model that looks like this: namespace AutoForm.Models { public class ProductViewModel { [UIHint("DropDownList")] public String Category { get; set; } [ScaffoldColumn(false)] public IEnumerable<SelectListItem> CategoryList { get; set; } ... } } It has Category and CategoryList properties. The CategoryList is the source data for the Category dropdown UI element. I have an EditorTemplate that looks like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<ProductViewModel>" %> <%@ Import Namespace="AutoForm.Models"%> <%=Html.DropDownListFor(m => m.Category , Model.CategoryList ) %> NOTE: this EditorTemplate is strongly typed to ProductViewModel My Controller is populating CategoryList property with data from a database. I cannot get the DropDownListFor template to render a drop down list with data from CategoryList. I know CategoryList is getting populated with data in the controller because I see the data when I debug and step through the controller. Here's my error message in the browser: Server Error in '/' Application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Thanks Tom As a followup, I noticed that ViewData.Model is null when I'm stepping through the code in the EditorTemplate. I have the EditorTemplate strongly typed to "ProductViewModel" which is also the type that's passed to the View in the controller. I'm perplexed as to why ViewData.Model is null even though it's getting populated in the controller before getting passed to the view.

Struts 2 development with Dreamweaver

Does anyone here use Dreamweaver for Struts development? I've been working on a web application using Eclipse/vi, but want to use Dreamweaver so that I can apply some nice looking Dreamweaver templates. I looked for tutorials on Struts development with Dreamweaver, but couldn't find any, and when I tried to import my page, a lot of stuff was broken, which I guess is expected since a lot of the html is dynamically generated by servlets/jsps. So, has anyone had any luck with dreamweaver/struts and if so, could you share how you configured it?

How to disable Cufon on certain elements?

Hiya, I currently use Cufon accross our site with something similar to Cufon.set('fontFamily', 'DIN Medium').replace('h1'); Now for a single H1 tag i would like Cufon to be disabled, this is without changing the H1 tag to any other tag, it must remain as it is. I can add classes etc to the H1 tag if required, and can do any HTML/CSS/JS just not changing the actual tag. Anyone know if this is possible and if it is how? Thanks in advance, Shadi

Hide cursor in Chrome (and IE)

I have the following CSS that hides the mouse cursor for anything on the web page. It works perfectly in FireFox but in IE and and Chrome it doesn't work. html { cursor: none; } In Chrome I always see the mouse pointer. In IE however I see whatever cursor was last 'active' when it entered the screen. Presumably it's keeping the last selection instead of removing it.
