    I have two numpy arrays 1D, one is time of measurement in datetime64 format, for example: array([2011-11-15 01:08:11, 2011-11-16 02:08:04, ..., 2012-07-07 11:08:00], dtype=datetime64[us]) and other array of same length and dimension with integer data. I'd like to make a plot in matplotlib time vs data. If I put the data directly, this is what I get: plot(timeSeries, data) Is there a way to get time in more natural units? For example in this case months/year would be fine.

My target is to create soap services in python that can be consumed by several clients (java, etc). I tried the HelloWorld example from soaplib (http://trac.optio.webfactional.com/wiki/HelloWorld). It works well when the client is also using soaplib. Then, I tried to use suds as client consuming the HelloWorld services and it fail. -Why this is happening? Does soaplib server has problems to consumed by different clients?     How can you enable multiple selection in a jqGrid, and also allow users to delete all of the selected rows using an ASP.NET MVC controller? I have set the delete url property to my /Controller/Delete method, and this works fine if one record is selected. However, if multiple records are selected, it attempts to send a null value back to the controller where an integer id is required.

I am basically creating an excel file from a database and sending the results to the response stream using EPPlus(OpenXML). Both papers describe integer sorting algorithms that run in O(nloglog(n)) time. What is the difference between the two? Have there been any more recent findings about this topic?     I have a list of users in local store that I need to update from a remote list of users every once in a while. Basically: If a remote user already exists locally, update its fields. If a remote user doesn't already exist locally, add the user. If a local user doesn't appear in the remote list, deactivate or delete. If a local user also appears in the remote list, update its fields. Just a simple case of syncing the local list. Is there a better way to do this in pure Java than the following?   • Interfacing Android Nexus One with Arduino + BlueSmirf

    I'm a bit new to all of this, so bear with me - I'd really appreciate your help. I am trying to link the Android Nexus One with an arduino (Duemilanove) that is connected to a BlueSmirf. I have a program that is simply outputting the string "Hello Bluetooth" to whatever device the BlueSmirf is connected to. Here is the Arduino program: void setup(){ Serial.begin(115200); int i; } void loop(){Serial.print("Hello Bluetooth!"); delay(1000); } One my computer BT terminal I can see the message and connect no problem. The trouble is with my android code. I can connect to the device with android, but when I look at the log it is not displaying "Hello Bluetooth".     Hi! D6 prof. Formerly we used DBISAM and DBISAMTable. That handle the RecNo, and it is working good with modifications (Delete, edit, etc). Now we replaced with ElevateDB, that don't handle RecNo, and many times we use Queries, not Tables. Query must reopen to see the modifications. But if we Reopen the Query, we need to repositioning to the last record. Locate isn't enough, because Grid is show it in another Row. This is very disturbing thing, because after the modification record is moving into another row, you hard to follow it, and users hate this. We found this code: function TBaseDBGrid.GetActRow: integer; begin Result := -1 + Row; end; procedure TBasepDBGrid.SetActRow(aRow: integer); var bm : TBookMark; begin if IsDataSourceValid(DataSource) then with DataSource.DataSet do begin bm := GetBookmark; DisableControls; try MoveBy(-aRow); MoveBy(aRow); //GotoBookmark(bm); finally FreebookMark(bm); EnableControls; end; end; end; The original example is uses moveby. This working good with Queries, because we cannot see that Query reopened in the background, the visual control is not changed the row position. But when we have EDBTable, or Live/Sensitive Query, the MoveBy is dangerous to use, because if somebody delete or append a new row, we can relocate into wrong record. Then I tried to use the BookMark (see remark). But this technique isn't working, because it is show the record in another Row position... So the question: how to force both the row position and record in DBGrid? Or what kind of DBGrid can relocate to the record/row after the underlying DataSet refreshed? I search for user friendly solution, I understand them, because I tried to use this jump-across DBGrid, and very bad to use, because my eyes are getting out when try to find the original record after update... :-( Thanks for your every help, link, info: dd

    I've found a PPM image with the header starting with PF. The resolution number is stored in floating point (-1.000). No comments are inserted to get how it was produced. From the resolution, each pixel is composed by 12 bytes (4 bytes per component)... I suppose they are float or integer numbers. The problem is that I cannot get a clear image. Someone has already found this kind of images?
