    I have a Google App Engine app that works fine on the dev server. However, when I upload it, the CSS is gone. The scripts are still there, however.   • Git multiple config files

    As it is told in git-config manual, I have three files to specify git repo configuration: $GIT_DIR/config, ~/.gitconfig and $(prefix)/etc/gitconfig. Is it possible to make git read another config file (for example .gitconfig in root of the repo) after reading $GIT_DIR/config? I want it as I created git command aliases in .git/config and I would prefer to store them in repo, so I can restore them when cloning and for example.

  • Wrap app with dynamic libraries into one large static app

    I have an old program that kind of depends on older dynamic libraries. They tend to get upgraded easily with distro's updates. I figured that there would be a script with using ldd that would gather the libs needed and create one bigger, statically linked application that wouldn't break so easily. If I could do this, alot of older KDE libraries could be removed from my system and easen my life. Thanks!

    I would like to enroll my company in to the iPhone Developer Program for $99. I have a few questions, which I can't really find an answer to, because Apple aren't very detailed in their pages unless you actually registered. So here goes: 1.) Is the $99 paid yearly? 2.) It says when distributing free apps there's no fee, but if I want to distribute a $0.99 app, what is the fee then? Is it huge? Or..? 3.) Can I keep track of how many people bought my app anytime? 4.) Is there a page on the internet where I can read more about app store distribution that explains almost all the info I need to know? (Apple doesn't satisfy me on this) Thanks

  • Python .app doesn't read .txt file like it should

    This question relates to this one: Python app which reads and writes into its current working directory as a .app/exe i got the path to the .txt file fine however now when i try to open it and read the contents it seems that it doesn't extract the data properly.     I have recently seen in some Apps that review and rating (with 5 stars) can be integrated into the app. Does anyone have an idea how this is done? e.g. with a http request? More specific: Can I create a view in my App with a UITextField and a Button, so that when the user writes his review in the textfield and click send, the review should be posted to the "Customer Reviews" in the App Store? and the rating should also be done inside the App similarly.

    I try to create php web app using GAE. In the GAE tutorial, "A script handler executes a PHP script to handle the request that matches the URL pattern. The mapping defines a URL pattern to match, and the script to be executed" Now I want to map the url with the file having same name in the folder, e.g. if the url is /hello.* , it will map the file name hello.php in the folder. And if it is /hello1.*, hello1.php in the folder will be responded to the server. I thought this should be done directly by mapping the name of the url with the name in the folder. But if I left empty for the handler in the app.yaml, I got an error. So I want to know how to set up the handler in app.yaml?

    Anyone know how I can use httponly cookies for sessions and cookies on the app engine? In the javadoc for the Cookie class, http://java.sun.com/javaee/6/docs/api/javax/servlet/http/Cookie.html#setHttpOnly(boolean) , there is a setHttpOnly method. I get a compiler error when trying to use it when developing for app engine though. The method was introduced in the Servlet 3.0 spec, so its pretty new.

Also Yahoo might block your User-Agent that is being set permanently by Google." I don't understand what "w/" means in "w/ App Engine" and in "w/ Captcha challenge"

    I'm developing application for google app engine (python), witch needs not only to send emails, but also know which ones bounce back. I created special account for my domain [email protected], added it as an app admin and sending messages from it. The problem is (and it was described here http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=1800) - GAE sets the Return-Path to some internal email address, not allowing to receive bounced email messages. Anyone aware of any possible workaround for this? Thanks.
