  • Grid overlayed on image using javascript, need help getting grid coordinates.

    Hi I am fairly new to javascript and could use some help, I am trying to overlay a grid on top of an image and then be able to have the user click on the grid and get the grid coordinate from the box that the user clicked.     Suppose I am editing a buffer containing C code. I have started semantic with semantic-load-enable-code-helpers . I have point placed on the name of a function . If I then invoke senator-jump I can jump to the place where that fn is first declared, in that module. What if it is an extern? Is it possible to use senator to jump to the definition of the fn, which resides in a separate module? Thanks.

    I have an asus k55VM. The problem is that once done the partitions to install windows 7 finalize you and then ubuntu 12.10 the grub not to appear. On having created the table of partitions with gparted I did it in format msdos but then on having installed windows gently accepted me and he says to me that I must do it with format gpt therefore I erase the disc in the assistant of installation and believe a partition of 160 gb Later between with live CD to ubuntu and believe other partitions between which, one ext4 for ubuntu... I install and restart. On having restarted the grub does not go out but if the partitions appear of windows. To seeing if someone helps me am desperate. Thank you very much Tengo un asus k55VM. El problema es que una vez hechas las particiones instalar windows 7 ultimate y luego ubuntu 12.10 no aparece el grub. Al crear la tabla de particiones con gparted lo hice en formato msdos pero luego al instalar windows no me acepta y me dice que debo hacerlo con formato gpt por lo tanto borro el disco en el asistente de instalacion y creo una particion de 160 gb Posteriormente entre con live cd a ubuntu y creo otras particiones entre las cuales, un ext4 para ubuntu... Instalo y reinicio. Al reiniciar no sale el grub pero si aparecen las particiones de windows. A ver si alguien me ayuda estoy desesperado. Muchas gracias

    tengo una pc asus con ubuntu 14.04.01lts y en el existen 3 cuentas.1 administrador y 2 estandar.el administrador puede leer y modificar los archivos dentro el disco duro.sin embargo los estandar ni siquiera pueden leerlo,dice que necesita permisos para entrar,intentamos cambiarlos desde cuenta administrador pero al marcar la opcion lectura y modificar esta se vuelve a poner automaticamente en no.recuerdo que ubuntu esta instalado junto a windows 8.1 pero estamos pronto a quitarlo por ser muy inestable.

    I'm building a simple backbone app that have 4 routes: home, about, privacy and terms. But after setting the routes I have 3 problems: The "terms" view isn't rendering; When I refresh the #about or the #privacy page, the home view renders after the #about/#privacy view When I hit the back button the home view never renders. For example, if I'm in the #about page, and I hit the back button to the homepage, the about view stays in the page I don't know what I'm doing wrong about the 1st problem. I think that the 2nd and 3rd problem are related with something missing in the home router, but I don't know what is.     I'm getting a strange error when doing bundle install: $ bundle install Fetching source index for http://rubygems.org/ rvm/rubies/ree-1.8.7-2010.02/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems/remote_fetcher.rb:304 :in `open_uri_or_path': bad response Not Found 404 (http://rubygems.org/quick/Marshal.4.8/resque-scheduler-1.09.7.gemspec.rz) (Gem::RemoteFetcher::FetchError) I've tried bundle update, gem source -c, gem update --system, gem cleanup, etc etc. Nothing seems to solve this. I notice that the URL beginning with http://rubygems.org/quick does seem to be a 404 -- I don't think that's any problem with my network, though if that's reachable for anyone else then that would be a simple explanation for my problem.     I have a number of text input elements that when its values are changed, will trigger a fetch on listingListView's collection listingCollection, which then updates listingListView with the new data via the function listingListView.refreshList as shown below. I am using PHP/Codeigniter to expose a RESTful API. Problem: Everything works fine if there are results retrieved from the fetch(). However, when the filters results in no result being returned, how should the server side and the client side handle it? Currently Chrome's javascript console displays a 404 error and in the Network tab, the XHR request is highlighted in red. All I want to do in the event of zero results returned, is to blank the listingListView and show a message like (No results returned) and not throw any errors in the javascript console. Thanks!   • Quick / Built-in method for detecting table change in SQL Server?

    Is there a quick and easy way of telling if a table has changed in SQL Server? (I'm using SQL Server 2005). Something like an incrementing ID somewhere that updates on each INSERT, DELETE or UPDATE that I can keep track of. I noticed there is a sys.objects.modify_date column for each table, but I don't think it's quite what I want because the docs say: Date the object was last modified by using an ALTER statement. If the object is a table or a view, modify_date also changes when a clustered index on the table or view is created or altered.

  • Quick example of multi-column results with jQueryUI's new Autocomplete?

    I just found out that the jQueryUI now has it's own built-in auto-complete combo box. Great news! Unfortunately, the next thing I found is that making it multi-column doesn't seem nearly that simple (at least via documentation). There is a post here where someone mentions that they've done it (and even gives code), but I'm having trouble understanding what some of their code is doing. I'm just curious if anyone has ran across this before and could post a quick and easy sample of making a multi-column result set. Thanks much in advance.

  • How do I get the Mac OS X 'quick look' feature to be more programmer-friendly?

    There are numerous text files that are always included in common downloads such as rails plugins: LICENSE, ChangeLog, Rakefile, etc. I know these files are plain-text, but Mac OS X refuses to acknowledge this automatically. If I hit the spacebar in Finder to activate "quick look", the icon becomes huge but the contents of the file are not shown, presumably because they have no file extension. How do I stop this madness so I can quickly look at READMEs just by hitting the spacebar? I've already got a ton of text editors installed on my mac: this question is purely about efficiency and making simple files accessible as quickly as possible.

    i have an database with the values of latitude and longitude. i would need to search those values depends on the user input. does the quick search box can search only the database value with the type-to-search feature. Else i want to put a separate EditText and then do the the search process.. if QSB is possible then how to do that? i want to search and drop a pin on the map.. please make a note of it. Any Idea, tutorial and sample codes are most thankful?

  • BB Code Parser (in formatting phase) with jQuery jammed due to messed up loops most likely

    Greetings everyone, I'm making a BB Code Parser but I'm stuck on the JavaScript front. I'm using jQuery and the caret library for noting selections in a text field. When someone selects a piece of text a div with formatting options will appear. I have two issues. Issue 1. How can I make this work for multiple textfields? I'm drawing a blank as it currently will detect the textfield correctly until it enters the $("#BBtoolBox a").mousedown(function() { } loop. After entering it will start listing one field after another in a random pattern in my eyes. !!! MAIN Issue 2. I'm guessing this is the main reason for issue 1 as well. When I press a formatting option it will work on the first action but not the ones afterwards. It keeps duplicating the variable parsed. (if I only keep to one field it will never print in the second) Issue 3 If you find anything especially ugly in the code, please tell me how to improve myself. I appriciate all help I can get.
