  • Google Maps InfoBubble pixelOffset

    I am trying to implement a custom infoBubble that has the box opening to the side of a marker. This has turned out to be harder than expected. Using the normal infoWindow you can use pixelOffset. See here for the documentation Using infoBubble this does not seem to be the case. Is there anyway of using pixelOffset in an infoBubble, or something that will do the same thing? I have found this very difficult to search for, as using a google search such as this returns no relevant results Google Search Below is all my resources I have been using.     ASA Spoke to Spoke Communication I have been looking at spke to spoke comms or "hairpining" for months and have posted on numerouse forums but to no avail. I have a Hub and spoke network where the HUB is an ASA Firewall version 8.2 * I basicaly want to allow 2 spokes to be able to communicate with each other.   • Google Play Music Not Adding MP3s On-Demand

    My recent attempts to add music on-demand to Google Play Music have yielded nothing - no "Processing music..." or "Added __ of __" messages, just nothing. Previously I could add music on-demand; and nothing has changed on the machine from which I successfully added music previously, from which I have tried to add music on-demand recently. What could be hampering my ability to add music on-demand? WHAT I'VE TRIED: Right after I started using GPM, I briefly found that I could not add music (on-demand), but the problem went away after a logout/login. This time a logout/login has not helped. Dragging & dropping or browsing to folders or files to add has made no difference either. Nor has waiting ridiculously long for GPM to show signs of life after adding music on-demand seemed to work. Digging deeper, I read a related Google Play Help article and followed its suggestions... ran the Google Play Music Manager troubleshooter = no errors or warnings double checked my available storage = 8 GB free double checked supported file types = MP3 is still supported (of course) ..., but the problem remains. UPDATE: I found that if I configure GPM to automatically upload music added to specific folders, it strangely does add automatically what it will not add on-demand.

I'm trying to understand the use cases for the Google Apps Sync for Outlook tool http://mail.google.com/support/bin/topic.py?topic=23333 with respect to email and calendar entries. The description says it syncs your Outlook email and calendar items with Google Apps, but doesn't using Outlook as an IMAP client against Google Apps do the same?

Everything was working until I switched to dedicated server. First I added DNS role to my new server and I configured whole DNS and NS stuff. I have mail address that mail.domain.com that was redirecting to google app email before. Rightnow, It's not possible to access to mail.domain.com addres from somewhere. But I'm accessing from a few point which located some computer on different network. I stacked in this problem. Please, see the below screen shots I checked on DNSStuff.com,everything is green. Also, I checked on InteliWiz, it seems correct And, Here is the my DNS records. I was accessing to my mail.domain.com address from everywhere, Now, I cannot access to mails from many places since 3 week. Where is the my mistake ? Any help would be appriciated.

    I am building an website. It has an .nl domain. Now only my domain is showing up on google.nl I hope I can change this somehow that it could be findable in all google's (like google.com / co.uk) and so on. If I look on google forums. They say go to webmaster tools and change your geographic position over there. But I have added this site and I am not able to change it there because there is no select box. I dont have any idea were to search (yes I searched on google offcourse) or where to ask for this special problem. So maybe here can someone redirect me or explain me what is possible and what not.     I have a report in Reporting Services 2008 using ASP.net 3.5 and SQL Server 2008. The report has 2 groupings and a detail row. This is the current format: Outer Group Inner Group Detail Row The Detail Row represents an item on a receipt and a receipt can have multiple items. Each receipt was paid with a certain payment method. So the Outer Group is grouped by payment type, the Inner Group is grouped by the receipt's ID, and the Detail Row is each item for the given receipt. My raw data result set has two important columns: The Amount Received and the Amount Applied. The Amount Received is how much money in total was collected for all the items on the receipt. The Amount Applied is how much money each item got from the total Amount Received. Sample Result Set: ReceiptID Item ItemID AmountReceived AmountApplied Payment Method ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1 Book 1 $200.00 $40.00 Cash 1 CD 2 $200.00 $20.00 Cash 1 Software 3 $200.00 $100.00 Cash 1 Backpack 4 $200.00 $40.00 Cash The Inner Group displays the AmountReceived correctly as $200. However, the Outer Group displays the AmountReceived as $800, because I believe that it is going off each detail row which in this case is a count of 4 items. What I want is to see in the Outer Group that the Amount Received is $200. I tried restricting the scope in my SUM function to be the Inner Group, but I get the error "The scope parameter must be set to a string constant that is equal to either the name of a containing group, the name of a containing data region, or the name of a dataset." Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this issue? Thanks.

    Location based alerts of iPhone are very useful. You can set an alert to popup as soon as you reach a specific location like “Pickup milk and eggs” when I’m near a grocery store. This feature was missing in Android for a long time, but last week at Google I/O conference Google released an update to Google Now which supports location based alerts. To setup a location based alert 1. Launch Google Now 2. Type or say add reminder 3. By default it shows time based alert interface, switch it location based by touching Location icon 4. Set reminder text, choose a location and touch Set reminder 5. Your alert is set now and as soon as you are close by the specified location, you’ll see an alert on your device. This is a nice feature and I’m using it quite often for the past couple of days.  There are couple of things missing from the current version of Google Now location based alerts– recurring alerts and ability to set alerts on leaving a specific location. It is not possible to recur location based alerts. You will be alerted only once as soon as you reach the location and it is not possible to repeat the alert next time you visit the location. Lets say you want to be reminded to say hi to friend’s parents whenever you are travelling close by their home. It does not work. The second missing feature is something basic and some how Google did not incorporate in their first iteration. Lets say you are at office now and you want to set up alert to pickup flowers when you leave office. Sounds like a simple use case for location based alerts right? But there is no way to set this type of alerts. Google Now alerts you as soon as you reach a location, but not when you leave a location. Do you have an Android that supports Google Now? If so what are your thoughts on location based alerts?

  • Force google to reindex

    I changed the structure of my urls. The pages are indexed by google and have the following structure http://mypage.com/myfolder/page.apsx The new structure is http://mypage.com/page.aspx Now all urls that google knows are wrong. How can I tell google to reindex and that the structure has changed? Internally I redirect in ASP.NET when the url contains the myfolder by I want google to update the urls.

  • Using GoDaddy email AND Google Apps

    We have 8 people that need emails addresses in our company. 3 need email only, while 5 need emails and the features from Google Apps. We would like to continue to host email for the 3 on GoDaddy, while using Google Apps for the 5. When we insert the MX records in GoDaddy, the 3 no longer could send/receive email, since we were redirecting email to Google. How can we redirect email to these 3 employees through GoDaddy, while keeping the 5 on Google Apps?

I want to improve the SEO, usability and just general performance of my website. EDIT: It's a portfolio website that we've done the initial SEO for, also optimised all images etc and made the site as fast as possible.   • Google Analytics: Block Your Dynamic IP Visits?

    I have a dynamic IP, which doesn't work for Google Analytics IP filtering. I read this post How to excludes my visits from Google Analytics? but don't see any code for setting the variable mentioned there. Has anyone been able to block their website visits from Google Analytics using a cookie? EDIT: This seems to work https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Although I don't think it was designed as I'm using it.

  • Google Sitemap Limits?

    I've read in multiple places that Google's sitemap limits sits at 50,000 URLs per sitemap - though it's my understanding that you can submit multiple sitemaps to overcome this problem. I've also found that Google follow the sitemap protocol found here. My question is - is there anywhere where Google directly comment on the specifications and limits of sitemaps they accept? All the information I've found isn't behind any Google domain.
