    We have a windows application (C# .net) and we'll be giving installers to client. The requirement is that once the application has been installed , user should not be able to edit the system time/date . This is to make sure that the application generated dates/reports are not manipulated. My target OS is Win-XP What is the best way to do that ? Does OS provide any facility to do that ? Suppose I created a very small simple and useful program or a tool and would like to share it with everyone by uploading it to my web-site. Do I need a license and which one? (I read http://www.gnu.org/ and http://www.fsf.org/ but still cannot decide - there are too many of them.) Do I need to put somewhere a copyright and what is the basic principles of creating "Copyright" string? How can I make a user, who is going to download and install my program, to believe that my program doesn't contain viruses or a malicious code?

  • How to remove subviews to release more memory

    I have UIScrollView with number of subviews. Each subview is custom UIButton with UIImage. When I load more and more subviews, more and more memory is used. But I remove invisible subviews by removeFromSuperView method. Subviews are removed and stay invisible, but Im afraid that no memory is released. UIImage is image downloaded from internet.     I set up Hudson for my project with the build goals mvn clean deploy site:site, run a build every midnight and whenever there are new changes. One thing I have been wondering is whether I should include deploy in the build goals because it could happen that if I had just released version 1.0.0 of my project (I've changed the pom to be version 1.0.0 and committed it) but not yet increased the version number to 1.0.1-SNAPSHOT for several days, I could end up with multiple different 1.0.0 builds being deployed at different times. But I've seen people are using deploy in their Hudson's build goals - I wonder how they deal with this issue. What's the correct way of doing a release with Maven actually? Thanks for any pointers!

    Hi, I have following case: I want to use uncompressed js/css files during development (to debug js for example) but on production I want to switch automatically to minified versions of that files. some simple solution is to put in your template: <script src="some_js.{% if not debug %}min.{% endif %}js".... but this require manully providing that such file exist and to do minifaction manullay after original file change. How do you accomplish this in your projects? Is there any tool for this?
