• Capture Flash Audio in 4.7 Edge?

  Is there a way to capture plugin (Flash) audio before it gets to the sound card? I'd like to record plugin audio, hopefully without actually playing the sound. Capturing audio at the device level is an absolute last resort, as the application would pick up all system audio rather than just the Webkit plugin. I'm aware of the recent switch back from QTMultimedia; is this possible with phonon? I spent the night looking for some way to access the phonon graph via QWebFrame (or any of the QtWebkit widgets) -- and didn't turn up much. I also started digging through QTWebkit, particularly NPAPI, without success. For reference, I'm using the edge version of 4.7 (6aa50af000f85cc4497749fcf0860c8ed244a60e) This seems to be a fairly challenging problem. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

• Symbol error in java application using netbeans when adding a shared project to library

  I have a project which has shared functionality between three other projects and have linked these to existing projects as I normally would using the add project functionality of the libraries folder. This all used to work however when I started up Netbeans yesterday it just wasn't working as in the other projects won't compile even though the projects are linked. It can recognise the packages - just the actual classes themselves were not recognised... and to add to the weirdness some of the classes are getting picked up fine. I have checked the dist folder of the shared project and the Shared.jar file exists. Also I have checked the Jar and the other classes that are not being recognises are there also. Any suggestions?

• Chrome Extension: how to capture selected text and send to a web service

  For the Google Chrome extension, I need to capture selected text in a web page and send to a web service. I'm stuck! First I tried a bookmarklet, but Chrome on Mac seems to have some bookmarklet bugs so I decided to write an extension. So I think the act of selecting outside the browser window is causing the text to not be seen by the browser as "selected" any more. Just a theory.... thoughts?

• ffmpeg screen capture

  I wrote this script for some basic screen capture; it gets the window dimensions then uses the ffmpeg binary to record. I suspect there is a better way (maybe with the ffmpeg library), but scripting is what I know and ffmpeg generally works. • Cannot find typenames ("cannot resolve symbol")

  I have a site in ASP.NET using Telerik AJAX controls. Despite the latest binary being added to the website project, my code (eg myRadGrid.Datasource = "";) shows a red line on type names as they cannot be found for some reason. Can anyone possibly explain why or have experience in this sort of problem? Thanks

I tried to "\@" it and a few other things with not luck. I'm not enough of a jQuery ninja to know how to fix this. Any ideas?

  Hi, I'm trying to build a java application with gcj but getting the error below. multiple definition of `java resource .dummy' gcj versions are 4.4.1 on Ubuntu and 4.3.4 on cygwin/windows XP and I'm building it with gcj --main=my.MainClass --classpath=my my/*java Anyone seen this or know a workaround without installing an earlier version of gcj. If that is the way to do it does anyone know how to do that on cygwin or will I have to build it? • What division operator symbol would you pick?

  I am currently designing and implementing a small programming language as an extra-credit project in a class I'm taking. My problem is that the language has three numeric types: Long, Double, and Fraction. Fractions can be written in the language as proper or improper fractions (e.g. "2 1/3" or "1/2"). This fact leads to problems such as "2/3.5" (Long/Double) and "2/3"(Long/Long) not being handled correctly by the lexer.The best solution that I see is to change the division operator. So far, I think "\" is the best solution since "//" starts comments. Would you pick "\", if you were designing the language? Would you pick something else? If so, what? • Mouse Capture and Selection

  I have a control, that moves around alot of different controls inside of it in the form of a grid. So basically, none of the container control is shown at any point. But i do have capture of all the mousedown and mousemove events of the controls inside. What id like to do, is create an effect alot like the desktop of a windows computer, where you can drag, and every control that is inside of the mouse's drag will be thrown in a list, and when the mouse is released i can perform an action on all the selected items.   In LaTeX, with \displaystyle , if I do something like: \sum_{i=0} then the i=0 appears under a giant Sigma. This is good. Now, if I do (also in \displaystyle) \nabla_{x} the x does not appear under the nabla. It appears to the lower right. How can I make it appear under the nabla instead?

  I need to capture the KeyUp event in my form (to toggle a "full screen mode"). Here's what I'm doing: protected override void OnKeyUp(KeyEventArgs e) { base.OnKeyUp(e); if (e.KeyCode == Keys.F12) this.ToggleFullScreen(); } private void ToggleFullScreen() { // Snazzy code goes here } This works fine, unless a control on the form has focus. In that case, I don't get the event at all (also tried OnKeyDown - no luck there either). I could handle the KeyUp event from the child control, but the controls on the form are generated dynamically, and there may be many of them - each having many children of their own. Is there any way to do this without generating event handlers for every control on the screen (which I certainly could do with a recursive function)?

  Hello, this is a silly questions but I don't understand, why rails isn't evaluating my string as expected. Here is my problem: I want to redirect to an url in the form ~/:controller/index/#_76 redirect_to :action => "index", :id => '#_76' But I'm getting the url in the form: ~/:controller/index/%25_76 and so my anchor for linking to a certain place in the website isn't working. Can someone please explain me, why rails makes this rendering? I think this hase something to do with url encoding. Again thanks for your help, I'm learning every day a little bit more about rails :).

  So I have a piece of code which parses and validates user input: DateTime myDateTime = DateTime.Parse(userInput,currentCulture); Current culture is being set (to en-ca or en-fr) and the user Input is always in ISO 8601 format "yyyy-MM-dd". If the user enters 1900-01-01 the date is created as expected. If the input is "1900-01+01" the date time created is 1899-12-31 6:00:00 PM No exception is thrown, the DateTime.Parse happily converts this to the wrong date. To make this work I am using DateTime.ParseExact(userInput,"yyyy-MM-dd",currentCulture). So my question is: whats up with the +01 or any + value? Am I missing something in ISO standard?

  After adding "RelayCommand" class (that uses CommandManager class) into my Silverlight App I've got an error: The name 'CommandManager' does not exist in the current context This class is a member of System.Windows.Input namespace that is in PresentationCore.dll assembly. The problem is that I can't add this dll into my app... I am having a strange assumption: this class (CommmandManager) can't be used in the Silverlight. Am I right? • Capturing WPF Vector Information BEFORE it Renders to Screen

  I'm trying to "capture" or record the vector display information of a WPF (maybe Silverlight) application and play it back. However, instead of capturing bitmaps of what is rendered, I would like to capture the vector information BEFORE it gets rendered so that I can play it back at different resolutions without loss of quality. Ideally, I'd like to do this without having to add assemblies into my app (but willing to do so if necessary). I've looked into the WPF rendering pipeline and cannot find an appropriate starting point (or, stated differently, I couldn't figure it out). Maybe the VisualTreeHelper class?
