  • Exception when creating an activity: Could not select item Parcel unable to marshal value

    Hi, I am trying to call an Activity from another instance of the activity. The code is supposed to be a simple file browser (part of a larger application). I am using a ListActivity, and when an item (such as a folder) is selected, it is supposed to open it up in the new Activity. I have a feeling it is a problem with the AndroidManifest (which just has the basic tag). Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

Say you have an object, that represents the list of something (articles, pages, accounts etc.) class ObjCollection You have a class, that represents a specific item in collection: class objItem I have a problem thinking of a basic responsibilities of each object. Which class is responsible for creating a new objItem? Which class is responsible for deleting a objItem? Should it delete itself as a method?

  • Priority queue with dynamic item priorities.

    I need to implement a priority queue where the priority of an item in the queue can change and the queue adjusts itself so that items are always removed in the correct order. I have some ideas of how I could implement this but I'm sure this is quite a common data structure so I'm hoping I can use an implementation by someone smarter than me as a base. Can anyone tell me the name of this type of priority queue so I know what to search for or, even better, point me to an implementation?

    I try to move my old logfiles to a yyyy\MM\dd folder structure by Get-ChildItem . -Recurse -Include *.log | Move-Item -Dest {"D:\Archive\{0:yyyy\\MM\\dd}\{1}" -f $_.LastWriteTime, $_.Name} -Force but i get a path-not-found error. update I suspect the problem originates from the fact that the source path contains Program Files. sub question: Could the same be done without Get-ChildItem?

What I'm unsure of is where is the best place to put the filtering/grouping logic of the viewmodel state?     Hello, I have a relatively large Conceptual Data Model in PowerDesigner. After generating a Physical Data Model and seeing the DBMS data types, I need to update all of data types(NUMBER/TEXT) for each data item. I'd like to either do a find/replace within the Conceptual Data Model or somehow map to different data types when creating the Physical Data Model. Ex. Change the auto conversion of Text - Clob, to Text - NVARCHAR(20). Thanks!
