Dear All: I am trying to make a task to run my Jar file in gradle. I have come up with the following: task runJar(dependsOn:[jar]){ ant.java(jar:,fork:true) } However, I am unable to find the path to the jar file. Any help much appreciated. Thank you! taskmgr.exe - Wrong Volume

The other day my girlfriend used my computer to use one of those additional resource CD's that come with text books. This particular CD worked by acting like what seemed like a web server that hosted a site that the student is supposed to use (cgi-bin, python scripts...the whole deal). Today, I opened task manager to shut down some rogue IE's and got the following in an error popup with the title taskmgr.exe - Wrong Volume and Cancel/Try Again/Continue buttons: The wrong volume is in the drive. Please insert volume DosageCalc into drive D: (FYI: DosageCalc = nursing student) Clicking Cancel or Continue lets me continue to task manager. The CD hasn't been in the drive for days and I've used it since then with no problems. Where could task manager be holding onto this reference? My guess would be the registry somewhere...but I don't even know where to begin looking.

Need a jQuery Lightbox plugin that supports $.live() and grouping

I'm bringing in all of my images via Ajax, and I'm looking for a quick fix for the front-end of this project. I've tried a couple of jQuery lightbox plugins, but I can't seem to get them to perform in a live function (correct me if I'm wrong in thinking I need to do this). Currently attempting to use Balupton's Lightbox Plugin (can't link because of my being a new user), and after trying all of the examples to no avail, I've attempted it with this (also not working): $('a.lightbox-gallery').live('click', function(){ $(this).lightbox(); }); Any help is much appreciated!

Grouping Windows Forms Radiobuttons with different parent controls in C#

Hi, I've got a Windows Forms application in which I have a number of RadioButtons. These RadioButtons are placed within a FlowLayoutPanel which automatically arranges them for me. All RadioButtons that are directly added to the FlowLayoutPanel are grouped, meaning I can select only one of them. However, some of these RadioButtons are paired up with a TextBox so I can supply some argument there. But to have all this arranged properly, I add a Panel control to the FlowLayoutPanel so I can control the alignment of the RadioButton and TextBox relatively to each other myself. These RadioButtons now have their own respective Panels as parent controls and thus are no longer included in the radio group with the other RadioButtons. I read that the the RadioButtons that are in the System.Web.UI namespace have a GroupName property, but unfortunately their System.Windows.Forms counterparts lack this property. Is there some other way I can group these radio buttons are am I going to have to handle onClick events myself? Thanks, Jerry

Grouping geographical shapes

I am using Dundas Maps and attempting to draw a map of the world where countries are grouped into regions that are specific to a business implementation. I have shape data (points and segments) for each country in the world. I can combine countries into regions by adding all points and segments for countries within a region to a new region shape. foreach(var region in GetAllRegions()){ var regionShape = new Shape { Name = region.Name }; foreach(var country in GetCountriesInRegion(region.Id)){ var countryShape = GetCountryShape(country.Id); regionShape.AddSegments(countryShape.ShapeData.Points, countryShape.ShapeData.Segments); } map.Shapes.Add(regionShape); } The problem is that the country border lines still show up within a region and I want to remove them so that only regional borders show up. Dundas polygons must start and end at the same point. This is the case for all the country shapes. Now I need an algorithm that can: Determine where country borders intersect at a regional border, so that I can join the regional border segments. Determine which country borders are not regional borders so that I can discard them. Sort the resulting regional points so that they sequentialy describe the shape boundaries. Below is where I have gotten to so far with the map. You can see that the country borders still need to be removed. For example, the border between Mongolia and China should be discarded whereas the border between Mongolia and Russia should be retained. The reason I need to retain a regional border is that the region colors will be significant in conveying information but adjacent regions may be the same color. The regions can change to include or exclude countries and this is why the regional shaping must be dynamic. EDIT: I now know that I what I am looking for is a UNION of polygons. David Lean explains how to do it using the spatial functions in SQL Server 2008 which might be an option but my efforts have come to a halt because the resulting polygon union is so complex that SQL truncates it at 43,680 characters. I'm now trying to either find a workaround for that or find a way of doing the union in code.

To put this question into context, I'm trying to calculate "time in app" based on an event log. If a timestamp is outside of a 2 minute interval from the set, it should be considered a part of another set. I have a Maintenance Plan that is suppose to go through the BACKUP folder and remove all .bak older than 5 days. When I run the job, it gives me a success message but older .bak files are still present. I've tried the step at the following question: SQL Maintenance Cleanup Task 'Success' But not deleting files Result is column IsDamaged = 0 I've verified with the following question and this is not my issue: Maintenance Cleanup Task(s) running 'successfully' but not deleting back up files. I've also tried deleting the Job and Maintenance Plan and recreating, but to no avail. Any ideas?

Similarly for header row with text "Random Value 2" I get the item row 4,5 and 6 and so on.

Grouping data in an NSMutable array

Hi guys, I have an array i load with lots of data from an xml file. I am displaying this on a tableview and then when you click on say an author it goes through to display all their books. At the minute my NSMutableArray has an entry for every each book with title, author and so on. So in the table of authors it display the authors name as many times as they have books. I want to group the array data so the table only displays each author once but the author contains an array of his books. Seems simple but I can't find a group method for arrays. thanks peeps

Problems occur, when I use special characters, like german umlauts (Ö,Ä,Ü) in these parameters. In my java task they appear as ?-characters (using System.out.print). All my files are encoded as UTF-8. and my build.xml has the corresponding declaration: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> For the details of writing the task: I do it according to http://ant.apache.org/manual/develop.html (especially Point 5 nested elements). I have nested elements in my task like: <parameter name="test" value="ÖÄÜtest"/> and a java method: public void addConfiguredParameter(Parameter prop) { System.out.println(prop.getValue()); //prints ???test } to read the parameter values.

I have a books model with a date type column named publish_date. On my views I'm iterating through the books and I want to group the books by year such that I have a heading for every year and books that were published on that year to be listed below the year heading. So by starting with "2010" all books published on 2010 would be listed, then another heading "2009" with all books published in 2009 listed below it and so forth. <% @all_books.each do |book| %> <%=link_to book.title + ", (PDF, " + get_file_size(book.size) + ")" %> <% end %> By doing a book.publish_date.strftime("%Y") I am able to get the year but I do not know how to group the entries by year. Grouping rectangles (getting the bounding boxes of rects)

What is a good, fast way to get the "final" bounding boxes of a set of random (up to about 40, not many) rectangles? By final I mean that all bounding boxes don't intersect with any other. Brute force way: in a double for loop, for each rect, test for intersection against every other rect. The intersecting rects become a new rect (replaced), indicating the bounding box. Start over and repeat until no intersection is detected. Because the rects are random every time, and the rect count is relatively small, collision detection using spatial hashing seems like overkill. Is there a way to do this more effectively?

I have a set of Entities which basically has this structure. {Stats Name="<Product name> (en)" TotalResources="10" ..} {DayStats Date="2009-12-10" TotalResources="5"} {DayStats Date="2009-12-11" TotalResources="5"} {Stats} {Stats Name="<Product name> (us)" TotalResources="10" ..} {DayStats Date="2009-12-10" TotalResources="5"} {DayStats Date="2009-12-11" TotalResources="5"} {Stats} ... What I wan't to extract from this set is a new set entities (or entity in the example above) where the first level has been grouped by the (ignoring the country label) where all/some of the properties has been summmed together, including the the sublist of {DayStas} on a per day basis. So the result set of the example would look something like this: {Stats Name="<Product name>" TotalResources="20" ..} {DayStats Date="2009-12-10" TotalResources="10"} {DayStats Date="2009-12-11" TotalResources="10"} {Stats} ... So my question is: Is it possible to do this in a more elegant way in LINQ rather than the vanilla "loop-trhough-each-entity-and-compare"-way? And I wan't the set to contain the same type of entities as the original set ({Stats}, {DayStats}), your answer doesn't need to include code for that, I can probably work that out by myself. Just letting you know incase you need to take that into account. (I'm sorry if this question has been discussed before, I tried searching to no avail. I guess my searching skills are fuubar ;)) Merry christmas =)
