• CMake & ExternalProject: Fails to find specific file

  Hi, we have some dependency libraries in our repository. The main part is build with cmake. Now the cmake-makefiles shall build the dependency libraries, which do not have a cmake build system. For one specific library there is a "Makefile.squirrel" which should be used. The cmakelists.txt for that library: cmake_minimum_required (VERSION 2.8) include(ExternalProject) ExternalProject_Add(squirrel, SOURCE_DIR "./" UPDATE_COMMAND "" BUILD_IN_SOURCE 1 CONFIGURE_COMMAND "" BUILD_COMMAND "make -f ${CMAKE_CURRENT_SOURCE_DIR}/Makefile.squirrel" INSTALL_COMMAND "" ) However, when running make I get an error message: [ 93%] Performing build step for 'squirrel,' /bin/sh: make -f /home/enrico/projekte/projectname/dependencies/SQUIRREL2/Makefile.squirrel: not found make[2]: *** [dependencies/SQUIRREL2/squirrel,-prefix/src/squirrel,-stamp/squirrel,-build] Error 127 make[1]: *** [dependencies/SQUIRREL2/CMakeFiles/squirrel,.dir/all] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2 ls -lA on /home/enrico/projekte/projectname/dependencies/SQUIRREL2/Makefile.squirrel shows that the file exists. • GnuPG Shell Script - Refuses to read password

  The script below used to work on Mac OS X, but, since moving it to Ubuntu, it doesn't seem to read from the password file at all. Even when I run it from the command line, no matter what I do, I get a popup prompt asking me for the password. As this will run via cron, I don't want this to happen... I want it to read the password from the file with no prompt. • building mono from svn - android target

  There were patches made to mono on trunk svn to support android. My understanding is that essentially instead of Koush's system which builds mono using the android NDK build system directly, these patches add support for the android NDK using the regular mono configure.sh process. I'd like to play around with this patch, but not being an expert in the mono build system, I have no idea how to tell it to target the android NDK, or even where to look. I've been able to build mono from SVN using the default target (linux) on Ubuntu, but no documentation on how to target android was given with the patches. Since anyone not submitting or reviewing a patch is generally ignored on the mono mailing list, I figured I'd post the question here.

Is there a way to also implicitly know which tuples have been used which satisfy the condition for sum ? I know you can separately write another query to just return the primary key ids which satisfy the condition. But, Is there any other way to do that in the same query ? probably rewrite the query in some way ? or... any suggestion ?

• How to compare the output of serializeArray using qunit

  I am using qunit and jquery. Latest version of both. In my code when I submit the form I have the event as e. I call e.serializeArray() Here is my test. equals(args.data, [ { "name": "user_name", "value": "john" } ], 'input data'); And this is the error message from qunit. expected: [ { "name": "user_name", "value": "david" } ] result: [ { "name": "user_name", "value": "david" } ] As you can see to the naked eye the expected and result value is same but qunit is not liking it. I guess I am missing something.

• How to Look Up Email by Full Name in Active Directory?

  I want to search for a user's email by using Active Directory. Available is the user's full name (ex. "John Doe" for the email with an email "[email protected]"). From what I've searched, this comes close to what I'm looking to do -- except that the Filter is set to "SAMAccountName", which is not what I have. Unless I'm misunderstanding, I just need to pick the right attribute and toss in the full name name in the same way. Unfortunately, I don't know what this attribute is, apparently no one has had to ask about searching for information in this manner, and that is a pretty big list (msdn * microsoft * com/en-us/library/ms675090(v=VS.85) * aspx, stackoverflow didn't let me link 2 hyperlinks because I don't have 10 rep) of attributes. Does anyone know how to obtain the user's email address through an Active Directory lookup by using the user's full name?

  Hi all.. I wrote this program, that is supposed to read about 5000 email address and send an pre-defined html mail. I am using the background worker component. The problem is this: I have wired up the method who is supposed to send the mail. But I am calling another method that is supposed to append the body html to the salutation, like public string GiveMeFullHtml(string personname) ... "Dear Mr. John Doe" + HTML ... It seems that when it hits this method call, operation completes. IUt only sends the first mail and completes. I think because the HTML string method is on another thread or sth like that. Can you give me a little insight. Do I have to get everything done in the very same method when using multi-threading? Thanks in advance

  I have three string objects: NSString *firstName; NSString *lastName; NSString *fullName; The values for firstName and lastName are received from NSTextFields. I then want to concatenate the two strings and place the result in fullname. This is the code that I'm using: fullName = [firstName stringByAppendingString:lastName]; However, the result does not put a space between the two names (e.g. JohnSmith). How do I add in the space? I'd like the result to look like (John Smith).

• Compare values for audit trail

  I'm attempting to develop an audit trail/tracking solution for an existing database written in PLSQL/PHP - however I'm still unsure as of yet on an easy (to implement and maintain) solution for tracking changes to fields/values. For instance, the project tracking portion of the DB APP tracks over 200 fields and ideally I'd like a nice way to show a history of changes, such as: 5/10/2010 - Project 435232 updated by John Doe Changed Project Name (Old: Test Project; New: Super Test Project) Changed Submission Date (Old: 5/10/2010; New: 5/11/2010) Changed Description (Old: This is an example!; New: This is a test example) Essentially for each field (db column) it would output a new line to show the old/new values. So far my current idea is saving the current version of the data to a temporary table, updating the primary table with the new data then loading each row into an array and doing an array compare to determine the differences. This seems a bit convoluted, and if there is an easier method I'd love to know it. Any ideas or suggestions are much appreciated!

  Hello, I've a php script that's started each minute from cron. It almost always runs without any problem, except for about 10 times within 24h. The times it fails I get a segmentation fault like: bin/sh: line 1: 21815 Segmentation fault /usr/bin/myscript The number after "line 1:" is always different. I'm running: PHP 5.2.6-1+lenny8 with Suhosin-Patch 0.9.6.2 (cli) (built: Mar 14 2010 08:14:04) Is this a problem with my version of PHP? Is there a way to debug this? I have the feeling it crashes when the server load is high, but there's absolutely no prove for this. Any feedback is welcome!

  Hello, I can't do an AND on two querysets. As in, q1 & q2. I get the empty set and I do not know why. I have tested this with the simplest cases. I am using django 1.1.1 I have basically objects like this: item1 name="Joe" color = "blue" item2 name="Jim" color = "blue" color = "white" item3 name="John" color = "red" color = "white" Is there something weird about having a many-to-many relationship or what am I missing? queryset1 = Item.objects.filter(color="blue") this gives (item1, item2) queryset2 = Item.objects.filter(color="white") this gives (item2, item3) queryset1 & queryset2 gives me the empty set [] The OR operator works fine (I'm using "|" ) Why is this so?

  Hi, I want to use a PyQt application to display an image when some acpi event is triggered under linux. I already setting up the configuration for the event and the python scrip is executed when the event is triggered, but when program reach the creation of the QApplication app = QApplication(sys.argv) it stops without error. I tried setting up the same DISPLAY and PATH environment variables as my current user but it doesn't work. This is my event file: event=sony/hotkey SNC 00000001 00000011 action=/etc/acpi/vaio-tools/brightness/sonybright.sh up 2>&1>/tmp/vaio-tools_brightness.log I tried to find some error in the /tmp/vaio-tools_brightness.log but it doesn't log anything after it reach the QApp creation in code. any hints??

  I'd like to automatically generate a file and add it to a commit if it has changed. Is it possible, if so, what hooks should I use? Context: I'm programming a CSS library. It has several CSS files, and at the end I want to produce a compacted and minimized version. Right now my workflow is: Modify the css files x.css and y.css git add x.css y.css Execute minimize.sh which parses all the css files on my lib, minimizes them and produces a min.css file git add min.css git commit -m 'modified x and y doing foo and bar' I would like to have steps 3 and 4 done automatically via a git hook. Is that possible? I've never used git hooks before. After reading the man page, I think I need to use the @pre-commit@ hook. But can I invoke git add min.css, or will I break the internet?

  I am trying to create a UserDon object, and trying to generate the get and set methods programmatically ( based on Pro Javascript book by John Resig page 37 ), and am testing this on Firefox 3.5 The problem is: in function UserDon, "this" refers to the window object instead of the UserDon object. So after calling var userdon = new UserDon(...) I got setname and getname methods created on the window object (also setage and getage). • Jar extraction and verification in BlackBerry

  Hi All, The application I am currently working on requires me to extract contents from and verify the authenticity of the signed jar that is stored on the SD Card. In Java [and Android], we have the java.util.jar and java.util.zip classes, that allow to extract jar. However, J2ME or BlackBerry® does not provide support for these packages. I have, however, successfully extracted these using the third party ZipMe library. Can anyone let me know, how to get the signature block from the .DSA/.RSA file to authenticate the jar? I have the certificate that was used to sign the jar as well. This is easily done in Java using the getCertificates() method available in java.util.jar.JarFile. These are my tables. student table: SID (primary) student_name advisor (foreign key to faculty.facultyID) requested_advisor (foreign key to faculty.facultyID) faculty table: facultyID (primary key) advisor_name I want to query a table that shows everything in the student table, but I want advisor and requested_advisor to show up as names, not the ID numbers. so like it displays like this on the webpage: Student Name: Jane Smith SID: 860123456 Current Advisor: John Smith Requested advisor: James Smith not like this Student Name: Jane Smith SID: 860123456 Current Advisor: 1 Requested advisor: 2 SELECT student.student_name, SID, student_email, faculty.advisor_name FROM student INNER JOIN faculty ON student.advisor = faculty.facultyID; this comes out close, but I don't know how to get the requested_advisor to show up as a name.

  (Followup to this question) After surviving the first wave of incoming shipments (9 hours of copy/paste), I now believe I have all the requirements. Here is the updated workflow: Monkey collects email attachments (4 Excel spreadsheets, 1 PDF) Monkey creates central database, does complex calculations (right now this is also an Excel spreadsheet) Monkey sends data to two bosses, who set the retail prices independently; first one to reply wins Monkey sends order form to our other warehouses, also Excel Monkey sends spreadsheets to VIP customers, carefully sanitized and formatted (4 different discount categories) Jurily enters the data into the accounting system. I've given up on automating this part, there's too much business logic involved, and the database is a pile of sh^W legacy My question: What technologies would you use for a quick and dirty solution? I'm mostly sold on C#, but coming from a Linux/C++ background, I'm horribly confused about my choices in Microsoft-land. For bonus points: How would you redesign the whole system from the ground up? P.S. in case you were wondering, my job title is System Administrator.

  Hello. I believe this may be a simple question, but I've looked everywhere and tried some workarounds, but I still haven't solved the problem. Problem description: I have to replace a character inside a file and I can do it easily using the command line: sed -e 's/pattern1/pattern2/g' full_path_to_file/file But when I use the same line inside a bash script I can't seem to be able to replace it, and I don't get an error message, just the file contents without the substitution. #!/bin/sh VAR1="patter1" VAR2="patter2" VAR3="full_path_to_file" sed -e 's/${VAR1}/${VAR2}/g' ${VAR3} Any help would be appreciated. • Maven2 compiles my tests, but doesn't run them
