  • Using listactivity view to create table in android

    Hi: I Suddenly found that I have no idea about the concept of data format and the encoding. For exmpale, what is the differences about the ascii/binary/base64/text-xml ? For a real case, I am working with a web service whose parameter I have to define,however one of the parameter should be ascii,another is binary and the last is netcdf. So,how to define it? ALso I wonder the ascii needed parameter can be a .txt or .dat ?

    My DataGridView is bound to the same BindingSource as the Insert Form, and the Name column is sorted. After insert is done, the groupBindingSource.Current is not returning the new inserted DataRowView but the last row in the sort order what makes the Update do nothing.     I am evaluating several technologies for an open source app for the google app engine. I'm searching for information regarding OSGI on googles app engine. I have found Lemmon but it seems to be a dead project. The last checkin was in mid 2009... :-/ There is also a eclipse blog entry from april 2009, but it's not a real success story. Has anyone successfully used OSGI in a GAE app?

  • Regex for finding an unterminated string

    I need to search for lines in a CSV file that end in an unterminated, double-quoted string. For example: 1,2,a,b,"dog","rabbit would match whereas 1,2,a,b,"dog","rabbit","cat bird" 1,2,a,b,"dog",rabbit would not. I have very limited experience with regular expressions, and the only thing I could think of is something like "[^"]*$ However, that matches the last quote to the end of the line. How would this be done?

  • Speed Problem with Wireless Connectivity on Cisco 877w

    Having a bit of a weird one with my local LAN setup. I recently installed a Cisco 877W router on my DSL2+ connection and all is working really well.. Upgraded the IOS to 12.4 and my wired clients are streaming connectivity superfast at 1.3mb/s. However, there seems to be an issue with my wireless clients - I can't seem to stream any data across the local wireless connection (LAN) and using the Internet, whilst responsive enough isn't really comparable with the wired connection speed.     I'm trying to install the Python Imaging Library on Mac OS X 10.4, but I get errors. I'm not sure where the error starts, it's just a huge wall of text when executing sudo python setup.py install. But the last few lines are: ... collect2: ld returned 1 exit status lipo: can't open input file: /var/tmp//ccNKvQpP.out (No such file or directory) error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1 I've googled, but none of the results are working.

    Hello, I need to print last 20 characters of string, but only whole words. Delimiter is a space "". Let's consider this example: string="The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" echo $string | tail -c20 returns s over the lazy dog. And I need it to return over the lazy dog instead.     I'd like to slice a string up in a similar way to .split() (so resulting in a list) but in a more intelligent way: I'd like it to split it into chunks that are up to 15 characters, but are not split mid word so: string = 'A string with words' [splitting process takes place] list = ('A string with','words') The string in this example is split between 'with' and 'words' because that's the last place you can split it and the first bit be 15 characters or less.

    I am in the process of switching my development environment from sqlite3 to postgresql 8.4 and have one last hurdle. In my original I had the following line in a helper method; result = Users.find(:all, :order => "name collate NOCASE") which provided a very nice case-insensitive search. I can't replicate this for postgresql. Should be easy - any ideas? Thanks.

Now it is easy to add my custom menu to the menu bar with: printMenu = menuBar()-addMenu(tr("&Print")); but my menu will be in the last position of the menu bar. Unfortunately I can't find anything on this. Was this feature dropped? What options/limitations are there? (There are similar questions on SO but they don't say if they apply to SL3 or 4.)
