  • Why won't my AJAX controls work? (and ajax for .net 4 not working?)

    I'm totally new to ajax. I'm using VS2005. I just downloaded .NET framework 4 and so then I downloaded ajaxcontroltoolkit.binary.net4 via [http://ajaxcontroltoolkit.codeplex.com/releases/view/43475] (as opposed to ajaxcontroltoolkit.binary.net35 for .NET 3.5), but when I try to load the ajaxcontroltoolkit.dll into my toolbox (as said in the tutorials), I get the following error msg: "'C:......\ajaxcontroltoolkit.dll' is not a microsoft .NET module." First question: Why is this happening? So I tried downloading the "Recommended" ajaxcontroltoolkit.binary.net35, and it accepted the .dll file and loaded all my controls. So, I started a new website and tried to check out a combobox, and it displays, but IE is giving the follow error msg: 'Sys.Extended.UI.PositioningMode.BottomLeft' is null or not an object.' 2nd question: Why is this happening?   • Magento - Programmatically added products don't show up

    I am trying to import products using a custom made import profile. Here I set some values on the product and then save it, like this: $product = Mage::getModel('catalog/product'); $data = array(); // Inbetween I fill $data with some values $product->addData($data); $product->save(); However, the products do show up in the admin, but do not show up on the frontend (I did add them to categories). The odd thing is, they do appear on the frontend once I open them in the admin and save them again (without modifying anything). Am I forgetting something, or some value that is somehow set by that action? I tried to rebuild all indices in the backend and to clear the cache, but this does not work, contrary to Magento API: Rebuild Indexes after adding new products.

  • MVC4 Model in View has nested data - cannot get data in model

    I have a Model defined that gets me a View with a list of RadioButtons, per IEnumerable. Within that Model, I want to display a list of checkboxes that will vary based on the item selected. Finally, there will be a Textarea in the same view once the user has selected from the available checkboxes, with some dynamic text there based on the CheckBoxes that are selected. What we should end up with is a Table-per-hierarchy. The layout is such that the RadioButtonList is in the first table cell, the CheckBoxList is in the middle table cell, and the Textarea is ini the right table cell. If anyone can guide me to what my model-view should be to achieve this result, I'll be most pleased...     Hi, All. I use LineChart in Flex with horizontal category axis and I need drop duplicated category label on the chart. The data I use are like that: {Product: "C1", Store: "S1", Profit: "1500}, {Product: "C2", Store: "S1", Profit: "1000}, {Product: "C3", Store: "S2", Profit: "800}, {Product: "C4", Store: "S2", Profit: "1200}, {Product: "C5", Store: "S3", Profit: "1800} Beacuse I set horizontalAxis.categoryField = "Store" , the chart show label "S1,S1,S2,S2,S3" on ths axes. However, both C1 and C2 data point group on the second "S1" category (as same as C3,C4 on second S2). If I accept group data point on the same x-poistion, is there any idea to drop duplicated label?

    I'm designing a product database where products can have very different attributes depending on their type, but attributes are fixed for each type and types are not manageable at all. E.g.: magazine: title, issue_number, pages, copies, close_date, release_date web_site: name, bandwidth, hits, date_from, date_to I want to use InnoDB and enforce database integrity as much as the engine allows. What's the recommended way to handle this? I hate those designs where tables have 100 columns and most of the values are NULL so I thought about something like this: product_type ============ product_type_id INT product_type_name VARCHAR product ======= product_id INT product_name VARCHAR product_type_id INT -> Foreign key to product_type.product_type_id valid_since DATETIME valid_to DATETIME magazine ======== magazine_id INT title VARCHAR product_id INT -> Foreign key to product.product_id issue_number INT pages INT copies INT close_date DATETIME release_date DATETIME web_site ======== web_site_id INT name VARCHAR product_id INT -> Foreign key to product.product_id bandwidth INT hits INT date_from DATETIME date_to DATETIME This can handle cascaded product deletion but...     I'm trying to revert "special price" after the "special price to date" passed to null. So basically when I update my products special price programmatically using this code : $todayDate = Mage::app()->getLocale()->date()->toString(Varien_Date::DATETIME_INTERNAL_FORMAT); $collection = Mage::getModel('catalog/product')->getCollection() ->addStoreFilter() ->addAttributeToFilter('special_price', array('gt' => 0)) ->addAttributeToFilter('special_to_date', array('date' => true, 'to' => $todayDate)); echo "Total products found : ".count($collection); foreach ($collection as $product) { $product->setSpecialPrice(null) ->setSpecialFromDate(null) ->setSpecialToDate(null) ->save(); } echo "<br/> Done!"; But after I update my special price to null the magento product wizard does not let me set a new special price for my product. When I save the form it does not give me any error nor affect any changes in special price and it's still null! What's wrong?!

    I'm building an 'add new row' function for product variations, and I'm struggling with the regex required to match the form attribute keys. So, I'm basically cloning rows, then incrementing the keys, like this (coffeescript): newrow = oldrow.find('select, input, textarea').each -> this.name = this.name.replace(/\[(\d+)\]/, (str, p1) -> "[" + (parseInt(p1, 10) + 1) + "]" ) this.id = this.id.replace(/\_(\d+)\_/, (str, p1) -> "_" + (parseInt(p1, 10) + 1) + "_" ) .end() This correctly increments a field with a name of product[variations][1][name], turning it into product[variations][2][name] BUT Each variation can have multiple options (eg, color can be red, blue, green), so I need to be able turn this product[variations][1][options][2][name] into product[variations][1][options][3][name], leaving the variation key alone. What regex do I need to match only the last occurrence of a key (the options key)?

    I've always wanted to know How can I update an entity effectively in hibernate just as by using SQL. For example : I have a product entity , has a field name createTime , when I use session.saveOrUpdate(product) ; I have to get this field from database and then set to product then update , actually whenever I use session.saveOrUpdate() , I updated ALL fileds , even if I just need update only one field. but most time the value object we passed to DAO layer can't contain all fileds information , like the createDate in Product , we seldom need to update this field. How to just update selected fields ? Of course I can use HQL , but that will separate save and update logic . It would be better If Hibernate has a method like this : session.updateOnlyNotNullFields(product); How can I do this in Hibernate ?

    Ok, using SQL Server 2008. On my web page I have a textbox with jQuery-UI AutoComplete hooked up. Now I need a stored procedure to search across all columns of a single table(or multiple joined tables I suppose) for a search string coming from the textbox/autocomplete AJAX call, and return "suggested" search strings. I am using the AdventureWorks db for testing(Products table) So for example, the product table has columns for product name and product number(among others) and I want to return suggested search strings based on user input where they may enter a product name and/or a product number. I have it working across a single column which was simple. Any ideas?

The result I keep getting is that for the names in the section it is only the name of the last person entered that is displayed. For example it would display: The number of revelers in this section is 2 The number of revelers in the band who paid in full is 2 {Band is the whole thing divided into 5 section} The number of revelers in the band who paid in installments is 0 The names of revelers in this section is Amy Total amount collected by this section is 288 So yea, the program only displays "Amy" even though I entered more than 1 name. Do you guys know how to fix it also if it's not asking too much could you help me to make a while loop for the last portion of the program so that after the user sees the info for a section he can see another section. It sucks that I've been working on it for a while but if it doesn't run properly tomorrow I'll fail. Help would be greatly appreciated and responses are welcome anytime cause i'll be up anyway. P.S.     Hi everyone I am new to mongo, this is my db design: product := { name: str group: ref, comments: [ ref, ref, ref, ref ] } comments := { ... a bunch of comments stuff } tag := { _id: int, #Need this for online requests tag: str, products: [ {product: ref, score: float}, ... ], comments: [ {comment: ref, score: float}, ...], } So my usage pattern is: GIVEN a product, find comments that have certain tag and sort them accordingly. My current approach involves: Look for that tag object that has tag=myTag pull all the comments out, sorted look for that product where product.name=myProduct pull all the comments out (which are dbrefs by the way) loop through the result of 2, and checking if they are in 4, (this I can do a limit 10) etc. It's pretty inefficient. Any better methods?

    I want to write an update query in MS Access 2003. I have a field called product_code. If product code is (between 110 and 752) OR (between 910 and 1124), I want to update product code=15. If product code is (between 1210 and 1213) OR (1310 and 1423) I want to assign product code=16. If product code is some other value I will assign 18, and so on I don't think I can use CASE statement for this since I have many values to be updated. I tried to use multiple UPDATE/SET statements but it didn't work.

    To Clarify: my question is why isn't my password policy applying to people in the domain. Hey guys, having trouble with our password policy in Active Directory. Sometimes it just helps me to type out what I’m seeing It appears to not be applying properly across the board. I am new to this environment and AD in general but I think I have a general grasp of what should be going on. It’s a pretty simple AD setup without too many Group Policies being applied. It looks something like this DOMAIN Default Domain Policy (link enabled) Password Policy (link enabled and enforce) Personal OU Force Password Change (completely empty nothing in this GPO) IT OU Lockout Policy (link enabled and enforced) CS OU Lockout Policy Accouting OU Lockout Policy The password policy and default domain policy both define the same things under Computer ConfigWindows seetings sec settings Account Policies / Password Policy Enforce password History : 24 passwords remembered Maximum Password age : 180 days Min password age: 14 days Minimum Password Length: 6 characters Password must meet complexity requirements: Enabled Store Passwords using reversible encryption: Disabled Account Policies / Account Lockout Policy Account Lockout Duration 10080 Minutes Account Lockout Threshold: 5 invalid login attempts Reset Account Lockout Counter after : 30 minutes IT lockout This just sets the screen saver settings to lock computers when the user is Idle.
