    Hi, I have problem with Runtime.exec() in Java My code: String lol = "/home/pc/example.txt"; String[] b = {"touch", lol}; try { Runtime.getRuntime().exec(b); } catch(Exception ex) { doSomething(ex); } It's working good but when I trying changle variable "lol" files doesn't create in hard disk for instance: String lol = x.getPath(); where getPath() returns String What should I do ?     I have a weird problem with ExecuteQuery in that it isn't working when performing a parameterized query. The following returns 1 record: db.ExecuteQuery<Member>(@"SELECT * FROM Member INNER JOIN aspnet_Users ON Member.user_id = aspnet_Users.UserId WHERE [aspnet_Users].[UserName] = 'Marina2'"); However, the parameterized version returns no results: db.ExecuteQuery<Member>(@"SELECT * FROM Member INNER JOIN aspnet_Users ON Member.user_id = aspnet_Users.UserId WHERE [aspnet_Users].[UserName] = '{0}'", "Marina2"); What am I doing wrong?

  • Testing site performance with multiple browsers and versions

    We're trying to document the performance difference of our site using different browsers. We use LoadRunner for load testing but I don't see a way to specify the "browser engine" it uses to run it's tests (perhaps it's using it's own?). In any event I'm not sure that LoadRunner is the right tool for this job but we own it so if we can use it, great. If not, is there another tool out there that I can use to record a script and run it automatically against a site using several different browsers?

    Hi, In entity framework is there a way to have a default value for a column such that Linq to Entity won't require this parameter when constructing a new object? For example I've marked on column in the EF designer with a default value (I typed in "All" as it was a string). But if I try to construct a new record and not specify this parameter I still get a FOREIGN KEY constraint exception. The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint "FK_FunctionalityTypeInterfaceRelationship"

    I cannot get getResourceAsStream to find a file. I have put the file in the top level dir, target dir, etc, etc and have tried it with a "/" in front as well. Everytime it returns null. Any suggestions ? I am using this command to load data mysql> LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE 'C:\\Documents and Settings\\Scan\\My Documents\\Downloads\\images_en.nt\\Sample4.txt' INTO TABLE NER.Images FIELDS TERMINATED BY' ' LINES TERMINATED BY '\n';' Only one row is loaded and if I execute again No row is loaded. Where is the problem? Data can be modified to reformat if required.
