  • Facebook like iframe ignores my specified href

    - by Zhami
I have Javascript that imputes (computes and injects) HTML into my DOM for the Facebook "Like" function. I need to specify a "canonical" URL because the actual URL doesn't reflect all the DOM manipulations that have been made (driven by user activity on the Web "page"). Alas, Facebook's code doesn't use the url I supply but the window.location value (which has #hash aspects that influence the page's presentation, but that aren't accessible to the server). Anyway... why is FB's code ignoring the url I give to it? I generate the HTML thus: var html = '<iframe src="http://www.facebook.com/plugins/like.php?href=' + encodeURI(url) + '&layout=standard&show_faces=false&width=100&action=recommend&font=arial&colorscheme=light" style="border:none; overflow:hidden; width:270px; height:26px;" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"</iframe'

  • how to call a view method to a model in zendframework

    - by Awais Qarni
hello I just want to ask whether we can call a view method to a model? I know that we can call it on our controller in zend framework. Like if I want to call the url method of view on my controller I can call it like this $this->view->url(array(),''); and on the view we just can call it by $this->url(array(),''); But When I tried to call the same method on my model by $this->view->url(array(),''); it generates an error of call to undefined method url. Now I want to ask whether it is possible to call view method to a model? If yes then how? What Am I doing wrong. Thanks

  • Rendering XHTML as MS Word Document - Headers

    - by Paul
Hi, I generate an XHTML document and set the Mime type as "application/msword" so it opens in Word. To create a header I appear to have to reference an external file thus: <style> ... @page{mso-footnote-separator:url("**OUT_files/header.htm**") fs; mso-footnote-continuation-separator:url("OUT_files/header.htm") fcs; mso-endnote-separator:url("OUT_files/header.htm") es; mso-endnote-continuation-separator:url("OUT_files/header.htm") ecs;} @page Section1{ mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-header:url("OUT_files/header.htm") h1; } } ... </style> Does anyone know how to reference a div defined within the main XHTML document itself, without having to reference an external file? Thanks

  • rewrite image URLs

    - by Don
Hi, I'm writing a Maven plugin that merges CSS files together. So all the CSS files that match /foo/bar/*.css might get merged to /foo/merged.css. A concern is that in a file such as /foo/bar/baz.css there might be a property such as: background: url("images/pic.jpg") So when the file is merged into /foo/merged.css this will need to be changed to background: url("bar/images/pic.jpg") The recalculated URL obviously depends on 3 factors: original URL original CSS file location merged CSS file location Assuming that the original and merged CSS files are both on the same filesystem, is there a general formula (or Java library) that can be used to calculate the new url given these 3 inputs? Thanks, Don

  • Java - How to change context root of a dynamic web project in eclipse

    - by Yatendra Goel
I have developed a dynamic web project in eclipse. Now I can access it through my browser using the following url: http://localhost:8080/MyDynamicWebApp Now I want to change the access url to http://localhost:8080/app I changed the context root from the project properties | Web Project Settings | Context Root But it is not working. The web app still has the access url as earlier. I have re-deployed the application on tomcat, re-started the tomcat and have done everything that should be done but the access url is the same as earlier. I found that there were no server.xml file attached with the WARfile. The how the tomcat is determining that the context root of my web app is /MyDynamicWebApp and is allowing me to access the application through that url

  • Can't delete a file created by mkstemp() on Mac OS X

    - by splicer
Apparently, NSFileManager is unable to delete files created by mkstemp(). Here's some test code to demonstrate this: char pathCString[] = "/tmp/temp.XXXXXX"; int fileDescriptor = mkstemp(pathCString); if (fileDescriptor == -1) { NSLog(@"mkstemp failed"); } else { close(fileDescriptor); NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:[NSString stringWithCString:pathCString encoding:NSASCIIStringEncoding]]; NSLog(@"URL: %@", url); NSError *error; if (![[NSFileManager defaultManager] removeItemAtURL:url error:&error]) { NSLog(@"could not delete file: %@", error); } } Here's what I see in the log when I run the above code: URL: /tmp/temp.A7DsLW could not delete file: Error Domain=NSCocoaErrorDomain Code=4 UserInfo=0x1001108a0 "The file “temp.A7DsLW” doesn’t exist." I'm running this on Snow Leopard. Any ideas on why the problem is occurring and/or how to work around it? Thanks!

Say I have this html: <a href="http://example.com">Test</a> I parse it using dom document with this code: $dom = new DomDocument(); @$dom->loadHTML($html); $urls = $dom->getElementsByTagName('a'); And then I run this code: foreach ($urls as $url) { //echo "<br> {$url->getAttribute('href')} , {$url->getAttribute('title')}"; foreach ($url->attributes as $a) { echo "<br>$a->name is $a->value"; } echo "<hr><br>"; } When I do this, I only see 'href' as an attribute of the url, there's no way to get the 'anchor text' (in the above case 'Test'). How can I get the anchor text of the link?

  • Why did I get a 400 Bad Request when getting a page with PHP Curl?

    - by user307272
Hi, I was trying to access a page using curl. I could access it perfectly using the browser and using "static" strings as the URL, like: $url = "http://www.example.com/?q=1234" But when I tried to access the page using a variable in the URL string like: $url = "http://www.example.com/?q=$param" I got a 400 error code. I checked out on the web and found some comments here in this stackoverflow thread: Then, just for curiosity I did the following: $url = "http://www.example.com/?q=" . trim($param); and it worked! And no, $param did NOT contain any spaces. To me, it seems that it can be some encoding error, but I really can't find an explanation for it. Does anyone here in stackoverflow know what it can possibly be? Thanks in advance :)

  • iPhone Server Mirror Functionality

    - by hecta
My app reads a from decentralized (so I have the ability to change servers if I have to) xml file with TBXML parser. The xml file consists of only a few lines like this <xml> <mirror url="http://www.someserverabc.com/data.xml" priority="1"/> <mirror url="http://www.someservermirror.com/data.xml" priority="2"/> <mirror url="http://www.anotherserver.com/data.xml/" priority="3"/> </xml> So I have the corresponding priority to the url. Now I want to check if server with priority 1 is reachable, and if not, try the 2nd one and so forth. If a server is reachable I'm parsing XML with the url from the mirror list How could I implement this approach and is it even a good approach or how can this be tweaked? (is XML even desirable in the first scenario)

  • Has anyone properly interpreted HTTP request based on this demo of winpcap?

What's wrong with my implement?

  • Add Page Parameter in Zend Framework Doesn't Work

    - by deerawan
Hello guys, I've been trying to figure this out these days. I got a problem when I want to add 'page' parameter in my URL for my pagination. This is my router -addRoute('budi',new Zend_Controller_Router_Route(':lang/budi',array('controller' = 'budi', 'action' = 'index', 'page' = 1), array('lang'=$s, 'page' = '\d+'))) -addRoute('budi1',new Zend_Controller_Router_Route(':lang/budi/page/:page',array('controller' = 'budi', 'action' = 'index', 'page' = 1), array('lang'=$s, 'page' = '\d+'))) Then I access my URL http://localhost/learningsystem/en/budi but when I hover on my pagination links, the page parameter doesn't appear. The URL is still http://localhost/learningsystem/en/budi but if I enter same URL with index in the end like this one http://localhost/learningsystem/en/budi/index or like this one http://localhost/learningsystem/en/budi/page/1 the page parameter appears perfectly when I click the page 2 link http://localhost/learningsystem/en/budi/index/page/2 Actually, I don't want include 'index' or 'page' at first in my URL. Anyway, I use default pagination.phtml template from Zend. Anyone please help me to solve this problem? Thank you very much

  • OpenID login on local development server for google app engine

    - by Alex Jeffery
Are you able to use open id to log into the local development server with google app engine sdk version 1.4.1 and python 2.5? When I execute this self.redirect(users.create_login_url(continue_url, None, openid_url)) I get redirected to http://localhost/_ah/login rather than the openid url. The openid url and continue url are valid. My app.yaml looks like this - url: /_ah/login_required script: do_openid_login.py - url: /users/(.*) script: routers/user_router.py login: required If I browse to http://localhost/users/ I am also redirected to http://localhost/_ah/login rather than http://localhost/_ah/login_required Is there a config issue or does openid not work locally?

  • Replace non-html links with <A> tags

    - by tombazza
I have a block of code that will take a block of text like the following: Sample text sample text http://www.google.com sample text Using the preg_replace_callback method and the following regular expression: preg_replace_callback('/http:\/\/([,\%\w.\-_\/\?\=\+\&\~\#\$]+)/', create_function( '$matches', '$url = $matches[1]; $anchorText = ( strlen($url) > 35 ? substr($url, 0, 35).\'...\' : $url); return \'<a href="http://\'. $url .\'">\'. $anchorText .\'</a>\';'), $str); Will convert the sample text to look like: Sample text sample text < a href="http://www.google.com"http://www.google.com< /a sample text My problem now is that we have introduced a rich text editor that can create links before being sent to the script. I need to update this piece of code so that it will ignore any URLs that are already inside an tag.

  • Google Analytics - Goal Funnel Steps

    - by Daniel
Is there a way to test the url you're entering in a step, to see if Google Analytics will recognize it? What I'd like to do is provide some web page or some web service with a URL, and get a pass or fail. It passes if Google Analytics recognizes a page hit to the url. Let me give some context. We've been having issues with our goal funnel steps in Google Analytics. The instructions on adding steps say not to use the domain. e.g. DO NOT use : http://www.mysite.com/step1.html INSTEAD use: /step1.html Our custom CRM uses friendly urls and as a result GA is having a hard time picking up on them. So we've experimented with changing around url we've placed in the step, however we've got to wait a day to see if the new url we've provided is going to work! Hence why we're looking for something quicker.

  • Google app engine-php: script handler

    - by Eve
I try to create php web app using GAE. In the GAE tutorial, "A script handler executes a PHP script to handle the request that matches the URL pattern. The mapping defines a URL pattern to match, and the script to be executed" Now I want to map the url with the file having same name in the folder, e.g. if the url is /hello.* , it will map the file name hello.php in the folder. And if it is /hello1.*, hello1.php in the folder will be responded to the server. I thought this should be done directly by mapping the name of the url with the name in the folder. But if I left empty for the handler in the app.yaml, I got an error. So I want to know how to set up the handler in app.yaml?

  • Advanced Data Source Engine coming to Telerik Reporting Q1 2010

This is the final blog post from the pre-release series. In it we are going to share with you some of the updates coming to our reporting solution in Q1 2010. A new Declarative Data Source Engine will be added to Telerik Reporting, that will allow full control over data management, and deliver significant gains in rendering performance and memory consumption. Some of the engines new features will be: Data source parameters - those parameters will be used to limit data retrieved from the data source to just the data needed for the report. Data source parameters are processed on the data source side, however only queried data is fetched to the reporting engine, rather than the full data source. This leads to lower memory consumption, because data operations are performed on queried data only, rather than on all data. As a result, only the queried data needs to be stored in the memory vs. the whole dataset, which was the case with the old approach Support for stored procedures - they will assist in achieving a consistent implementation of logic across applications, and are especially practical for performing repetitive tasks. A stored procedure stores the SQL statements and logic, which can then be executed in different reports and/or applications. Stored Procedures will not only save development time, but they will also improve performance, because each stored procedure is compiled on the data base server once, and then is reutilized. In Telerik Reporting, the stored procedure will also be parameterized, where elements of the SQL statement will be bound to parameters. These parameterized SQL queries will be handled through the data source parameters, and are evaluated at run time. Using parameterized SQL queries will improve the performance and decrease the memory footprint of your application, because they will be applied directly on the database server and only the necessary data will be downloaded on the middle tier or client machine; Calculated fields through expressions - with the help of the new reporting engine you will be able to use field values in formulas to come up with a calculated field. A calculated field is a user defined field that is computed "on the fly" and does not exist in the data source, but can perform calculations using the data of the data source object it belongs to. Calculated fields are very handy for adding frequently used formulas to your reports; Improved performance and optimized in-memory OLAP engine - the new data source will come with several improvements in how aggregates are calculated, and memory is managed. As a result, you may experience between 30% (for simpler reports) and 400% (for calculation-intensive reports) in rendering performance, and about 50% decrease in memory consumption. Full design time support through wizards - Declarative data sources are a great advance and will save developers countless hours of coding. In Q1 2010, and true to Telerik Reportings essence, using the new data source engine and its features requires little to no coding, because we have extended most of the wizards to support the new functionality. The newly extended wizards are available in VS2005/VS2008/VS2010 design-time. More features will be revealed on the product's what's new page when the new version is officially released in a few days. Also make sure you attend the free webinar on Thursday, March 11th that will be dedicated to the updates in Telerik Reporting Q1 2010. Did you know that DotNetSlackers also publishes .net articles written by top known .net Authors? We already have over 80 articles in several categories including Silverlight. Take a look: here.
