• Why do Facebook followers not shown in Safari & IE8?

  Hello Everybody We integrated facebook in our web application [Java GWT].   I am developing a Java project using Eclipse. The project uses another project called engine, which I have added in my project build-path. As I need to call a dabo class, called House, in one of my project class, named Window, I have used the following code as usual: import ee.asus.kernel.House; I got however the following error in compiling time: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Error: Unresolved compilation problems: The import ee cannot be resolved House cannot be resolved to a type House cannot be resolved to a type House cannot be resolved to a type at main.ee.asus.GUI.FrameWindow.Window.<init>(Window.java:10) at main.ee.asus.GUI.StartApplication.main(StartApplication.java:13) It's worth to point out that my prject and the dabo project use the same directory/packages names. Does anyone have a clue where the error may be?

• Ads in whole app iPhone problem

  I am using mobclix together with admob. The code is to big to add it in all classes. So i created a new class: Ads Everytime i want an ad in a view, i have to send the view to the ad class: - (void)initAd:(UIView *) pView { NSLog(@"ads init"); self.loadedView = pView; ..... To create an ad in a class: Ad* ad = [Ads new]; [ad initAd:self.view]; I dont know if thats the right way. I have to create a new Ads object everytime i change a view (or class). Is there a way to always have an Ads instance running, or is there another better way? Thanks alot!!

• How can I access variables outside of current scope in javascript?

  I'm writing some application in javascript and cannot figure it out how to access the variables declared in my function, inside this jquery parse. Inside I can access global variables, but I don't really want to create global vars for these values. Basically I want to extract file names from an xml document in the simulationFiles variable. I check if the node attribute is equal with the simName and extract the two strings inside the xml elements, that part I think it's working. Even though in all my NIB files they are set to landscape.

  Hi all, I am trying to use Core Data in my application and I have been succesful in storing data into the entity.The data storage is done in the applicationDidFinishLaunchingWithOptions() method.But when I run the app again,it again gets saved.So how do I check if the data is already present or not??   So I have a form that is using the Zend_Filter_Null filter. For example, a lot of ant manuals suggest the following list of targets: init clean compile build jar test javadoc dist deploy webapp What is the most large build file you met in your life? How many targets did it have and what are they? How often do you need more than predefined set of targets? The goal is to develop some conventions to have standard buildfile template for any project having the notion of the maven-like approach in mind (when a lot of work happens under the cover, convention over configuration). Also it would be great if you know the place where one can find collection of different buildfiles to choose or to get inspired from.

• How do you fix "Too many open files" problem in Hudson?

  We use Hudson as a continuous integration system to execute automated builds (nightly and based on CVS polling) of a lot of our projects. Some projects poll CVS every 15 minutes, some others poll every 5 minutes and some poll every hour. Every few weeks we'll get a build that fails with the following output: FATAL: java.io.IOException: Too many open files java.io.IOException: java.io.IOException: Too many open files at java.lang.UNIXProcess.<init>(UNIXProcess.java:148) The next build always worked (with 0 changes) so we always chalked it up to 2 build jobs being run at the same time and happening to have too many files open during the process. This weekend we had a build fail Friday night (automatic nightly build) with the message and every other nightly build also failed. Somehow this triggered Hudson to continuously build every project which failed until the issue was resolved. This resulted in a build every 30 minutes or so of every project until sometime Saturday night when the issue magically disappeared.

  Hello, I have the following code: NSNumber *number = [NSNumber numberWithInt:5]; int i = [number retainCount]; [number release]; i = [number retainCount]; [number release]; i = [number retainCount]; the problem is that in line 2 , the value of parameter i is 2 and in line 4 the value is 1. then in line 6 the value is still 1.???????? first i dont understand why after init *number the retaincount is 2 and not 1?? second i dont understand why after release it 2 times retaincount is not 0? it doesnt matter how many times i release the object the retaincount stay 1.

  Hi. While I found this question being answered here on SW several times, I didn't find a concluding answer what is the best approach. I'm not looking to use any external wrapper, as I found them launching the java process under a nice level lower then themselves which potentially lowers the performance, so it seems only the shell methods are left. I so far found 3 different shell methods: start-stop-daemon RedHat daemon init.d function nohup on start / disown after start What you people are using, and can recommend as the most reliable method? • In FLEX, How can you stop ENTER Key from my Alert being caught by the control that initiated the Al

  I am having an issue where I show an AlertBox message when the user hits ENTER and the focus is in a text area. The pop up works fine, but when the user hits enter the Alert closes as expected, but the TextArea listener receives the ENTER event from the Alert and pops the dialog up again. I have tried a number of ways to catch and eat the event but so far I have not been lucky. • httpOnly Session Cookie + Servlet 3.0 (e.g. Glassfish v3)

  By default, Glassfish v3 doesn't set the httpOnly flag on session cookies (when created as usual with request.getSession()). I know, there is a method javax.servlet.SessionCookieConfig.setHttpOnly(), but I'm not sure, if that's the best way to do it, and if yes, where the best place would be to put that line. BTW, of course it can't be done in the servlet itself (e.g. in init()): java.lang.IllegalStateException: PWC1426: Unable to configure httpOnly session tracking cookie property for servlet context /..., because this servlet context has already been initialized Generally, I would prefer to use a configuration option e.g. in web.xml.
