    What is the highest class in the hierarchy I can use to pass HttpSessionState as a parameter and add values to it? For instance to a method like public void MyMethod(IDictionary<string, object> input) { input.Add("something", something); } I see that implements ICollection and IEnumerable, but that only allows me to read values, not add them.

    Is there any way to have multiple clauses in an if() statement? For instance: if( ($username=='textUser' && $role=='admin') || ($admin=='yes')) { // If the username AND role are set to admin OR if the admin is set to 'yes' } else { // Neither clauses of the if statement are true } Perhaps this is actually the correct code, i have no tried it - but if not, could anyone tell me how? :)

    With two ViewControllers, MyView 1 and MyView 2, is there possible to add a subview to MyView2 from MyView1.m? I have tried: MyView2 * screen = [[MyView2 alloc]initWithNibName:nil bundle:nil]; [screen.view addSubView:mySubView]; But my new instance of MyView 2 has no connection to the 'visible' ViewController on MyView2, right? To clarify, the ViewController that is showing, is MyView1. I want MyView1 to be able to add a subview to the MyView2 view. Thanks

  • Exception when creating an activity: Could not select item Parcel unable to marshal value

    Hi, I am trying to call an Activity from another instance of the activity. The code is supposed to be a simple file browser (part of a larger application). I am using a ListActivity, and when an item (such as a folder) is selected, it is supposed to open it up in the new Activity. I have a feeling it is a problem with the AndroidManifest (which just has the basic tag). Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve

    As far as I know I can access the web.xml <context-param>s by making my class implement ServletContextListener and use the ServletContext.getInitParam(String) to read them, but it´s cumbersome as only one instance of the class will receive the contextInitialized(ServletContextEvent sce) call, so I need to make the ServletContext an static member of the class. What other ways exist of setting conf params at deployment time and what are the recommended ones?
