  • I have 5 links that open the same modalpopup?

    I have 5 links that are on the same form but I would like them all to reference the same AJAX modalpopup extender. I am basically showing a panel with the same view layout with just different data depending on which link is pressed, showing different match scores from games. The only way I can get it to work is have 5 panels with unique names and each link references its own panel. Can I get all the links to call one panel? Thanks

    I'm trying to create an installer using Apple's PackageMaker.app. As part of the installation, I want to install SIMBL with the metapackage mechanism provided by PackageMaker. However, when I add the SIMBL .pkg file and try to build my own package, I get the warning "No payload could be found. The package will not be built." for the SIMBL package reference. The same worked for an older version of SIMBL (0.8.*).

This would mean that every data store provider would have to implement the JCR API for his own data store. The question is JCR implemented for MySQL? Can we use the JCR API over MySQL? I want to truly abstract out where i store my content, so that tomorrow if i don't want to use a relational DB i can swap it out with the file system with ease.

    I want to convert HTML to PDF on an iOS Device... ...but I dont want to load my HTML in a UIWebView, take a snapshot and generate an ugly PDF from this snapshot picture...because the text must be selectable for my purpose. I wonder how Apps like Save2PDF or Adobe® CreatePDF are able to converting multiple files into PDF and save them. I guess they don't generate the PDF's by their own, but get them from Apples Printing Framework. How does this Apps work?

  • Can I tell git pull to overwrite instead of merge?

    As far as I see, git pull someRemote master tries to merge the remote branch into mine. Is there a way to say "Completely discard my stuff, just make me another clone of the remote" using git pull? I still want to keep my own repository and keep it's history, but I want to have a 1:1 copy of someRemote's master branch after that command.

    What are your experiences with Beta2 of Visual Lightswitch? Can it already be used for real life projects? Does anybody know, when the final (RTM) version will be out? I am very intersting in using Lightswitch in the future for RAD, but I am a litte bit self-conscious, if the tool is flexible enough for my dividual requirements and if a Lightswitch solution can be extended with own code !?     parsec-3.1.0 ( http://hackage.haskell.org/package/parsec-3.1.0 ) works with any token type. However there are combinators like Text.Parsec.Char.satisfy that are only defined for Char datatype. There doesn't seem to be any more general counterpart available. Should I define my own versions or did I miss something? Perhaps there are different parser libraries in Haskell that allows: custom token types custom parser state (I need to parse stateful format - Wavefront OBJ)

  • TTNavigator doesn't use existing navigation bar (iPhone)

    I am using the three20 framework in one view controller of my App. I create TTNavigator object and open a url which works fine. The problem is that TT creates it's own navigation bar and does not use the existing bar. There is no back button on the new nav bar so I cannot go back to my previous view controller. Has anybody run into this issue? Any ideas on how to fix (besides not using three20)? Thanks

    Are there any robust and mature HTML parsers available for PHP? A quick skimming of PEAR didn't turn anything up (lots of classes for generating HTML, not so much for consuming), and Google taught me a lot of people have started and then abandoned a variety of parser projects. Not interested in XML parsers (unless then can consume non-well formed HTML) or hacking it on my own with regular expressions. Clarification of Intent: I'm not interested in filtering of HTML content, I'm interesting in extracting information from HTML documents.
