    Say I have an SSL Certificate for a super cool site that I offer, like https://secure.coolsite.com/ (Not my site, just an example). Then lets say I had a customer who wanted to have a CNAME to my site on his server, like https://mycoolsite.his-site.com/ Would he need a regular SSL certificate on his end, would I need to have a second certificate on my end (And just "install" it on my webserver), or would I need a multi-domain SSL certificate, or he just has to list my site as an alias on his certificate?     The Switcher in Windows 8 is really convenient for managing running applications, but unfortunately all desktop apps are grouped into one position in the switcher... I like to kill background apps with the middle mouse button, but it's not possible to do with the regular "alt-tab" switcher... Is there any way to have the best of these two worlds - that is the ability to easily kill apps with the middle mouse button but without desktop apps being grouped into one item?

I need free email service of GApps the most, so I decided to give a go to "Send mail as" feature of a regular Gmail account and add my domain emails to that personal Gmail. C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC>vlc mms://blah.akamaistream.net/mystreaming.wmv :demux=dump :demuxdump-file=mystreaming.ps ... but it downloads the show at the regular reading speed. For shows that last longer than a few minutes, I was wondering if someone could recommend a good, preferable free, download for Windows to speed downloading?

  • `find` command not available in web host, how to implement a delete based on modification time using other commands?

    I'm creating a simple datebase backup solution for a client using web hosting at DataFlame. The web hosting account provides access to cron but not a shell. I have a database backup script creating regular backups and I want to automatically remove those more than N days old. I attempted to use find -v $backup_dir -mtime +$keep_days -name "*db.tar.gz" -delete however the user executing the script does not have permission to run find. Can you suggest how to implement this without using the find command?

    Hi, I'm trying to do basic authentication to view a protected url. I want to access the protected url which looks like this: http://api.test.com/userinfo/vid?=1234 So I do the following with a WebView: mWebView.setHttpAuthUsernamePassword("api.test.com", "", "john", "password123"); mWebView.loadUrl("http://api.test.com/userinfo/vid?=1234"); but the authentication doesn't seem to work, I'm just getting an output error page. Am I using the WebView method correctly here? Thanks

  • Binding to a dictionary in Silverlight with INotifyPropertyChanged

    In silverlight, I can not get INotifyPropertyChanged to work like I want it to when binding to a dictionary. In the example below, the page binds to the dictionary okay but when I change the content of one of the textboxes the CustomProperties property setter is not called. The CustomProperties property setter is only called when CustomProperties is set and not when the values within it are set. I am trying to do some validation on the dictionary values and so am looking to run some code when each value within the dictionary is changed. Is there anything I can do here?     I am querying an HTML file with Linq. But it kicks the error: Unable to cast object of type 'WhereSelectEnumerableIterator2[System.Xml.Linq.XElement,System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable1[Players]]' to type 'System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable`1[Players]' As you can see, I may really have no idea how to work with all these objects/classes. Does anyone have any insight on what I may be doing wrong and how I can resolve it?
