    We're using AmazonS3 for file storage and recently found out that we need to keep some sort of directory structure. Since S3 doesn't allow that, we know we can name the files according to their structure for storage. For example... abc/123/draft.doc What I want to know is if I want to provide a public link to this particular file is there anyway that the file can simply be draft.doc instead of abc/123/draft.doc ?

  • C# XElement: Node Formatting with HTML

    I'm extracting XML node from an XElement. When I use XElement.Value it strips any HTML that may be in the node. I know that if I do XElement.ToString() I can keep the HTML, but it also gives me the node tags. Is there any way to extract the content of a Node as is without the HTML being stripped out? Cheers.

    Hi When used at site level, the IIS7 URL Rewrite 2 module saves its configuration in the web.config file of that site. I'm using Sitecore CMS, and best practice is to store any web.config customisations in a separate config file for ease of upgrading, staging/production setups etc. Is there any way to specify a different config file for IIS7 redirects? I know that application-level rewrites are stored in ApplicationHost.config, but I have several sites running on the server and would like to keep them separated. Thanks, Adam

This post (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2639479/nsrunalertpanel-shows-up-behind-the-active-window) shows that you can bring the dialogue to the front if you convert the process to a foreground process. If you keep the process a background process, however, is there any way to achieve this behavior?

What I'm doing is creating a global kind that I initialize once (i.e. when I reset all my database objects when I'm testing). I have things in there like global counters, or the next id to assign certain kinds I create. Is this a decent way to do this sort of thing or is there generally another approach that is used?

    I have installed both IIS and SQL Server 2005 on my laptop. Both work individualy, however when I try to connect to an DB from an ASP page I keep getting the following error: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005' [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Cannot open database "DB1" requested by the login. The login failed. /testFiles/Connection/Connection.inc, line 5 Line 5 says: con.open "DSN=DB1" Can anybody tell me what the problem is? Thanks

I thought of various alternative: Storing a log in a TextField, open it and update it every time the model is saved. Alternatively pickle a list and store it in a TextField. Save logs on hard drive.     I am trying httpUnit for the first time and just trying to get a response back from google.com. However, I keep getting the following error: com.meterware.httpunit.dom.HTMLDocumentImpl not found Though, I have placed httpUnit.jar in the libraries folder of my NetBeans project and can actually see that class file is there. Any experiences with this?
