  • What is Dublin and how does it relate to WCF

    Going through some WCF hosting questions on StackOverflow, I've seen Dublin mentioned a few times as a technology from Microsoft that is forthcoming. It's only alluded to and not actually defined though. Can someone give me a good explanation of what Dublin is? Also, what is its release status and is it going by a different name now?   • Need to recover local changes overwritten by p4 revert

    Hi, I had a pending changelist in my workspace. By mistake I reverted one of the files by reverting to depot. Eclipse wiped off the local history. I am not sure if perforce keeps any history for pending changelists. Could someone tell me if it is possible to recover such file. Thanks Nayn

    I was used to use RockScroll (or MetalScroll), but when I started to use ReSharper my RockScroll start to show some bugs. Well, this is scope to another discussion http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1089493/is-rockscroll-compatible-with-resharper. But my problem is related, because now without MetalScroll I can't highlight all occurrences, what I consider very useful in many situations. Someone have another plugin for VS2010 or for ReSharper that do the same or better?

    (I am running Linux Ubuntu 9.10, so the extension for an executable is executablefile.out) I am just getting into modular programming (programming with multiple files) in C and I want to know how to compile multiple files in a single makefile. For example, what would be the makefile to compile these files: main.c, dbAdapter.c, dbAdapter.h? (By the way, If you haven't figured it out yet, the main function is in main.c) Also could someone post a link to the documentation of a makefile?

Both alone are fine but when I try to implement a Google Map into a Dojo content pane which is embedded in a border-container it simply does not work.     The difference between Chr and Char when used in converting types is that one is a function and the other is cast So: Char(66) = Chr(66) I don't think there is any performance difference (at least I've never noticed any, one probably calls the other).... I'm fairly sure someone will correct me on this! Which do you use in your code and why?

  • What things must I know about OpenAL memory management?

    I am playing sound with OpenAL, and it seems to increase memory footprint dramatically for every little sound I play. It seems that OpenAL never frees memory itself and that playing a Source causes memory footprint to grow. I couldn't find any good resources about OpenAL memory management, but I bet I must do a lot of stuff myself. Maybe someone knows a ressource for that?
